  1. ★★★★other

Clearly designed by men. This app is terrible. The advice and articles were all clearly written by uninformed men.

  2. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

Forcing Premium - I just want my account back. Nothing like getting a new phone and attempting to log back in to your 5 year old account just to be forced to use the premium version.

  3. ★★★★community and forced social features

Do not buy. Terrible community filled with rude people in an app that wants to you pay to track your period so they can sell your data

  4. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

Too many adds and cannot view historical logs. This was a great app until a it became an advertisement, always seeking to gain money with subscriptions. And I cannot view old logs unless I pay for a subscription which was never an issue until recently.

  5. ★★★★community and forced social features

NOT SAFE FOR KIDS. The functionality for period tracking is amazing and I was really looking forward to cycle education with my girls, but there is an EXTENSIVE and highly sexually graphic forum section, that is specifically for “sex stories” “masturb@t!on stories”, etc. it’s literally smut. Further, there are several posts on there with requests to chat and meet up. PREDATOR CENTRAL. Why in the world would a period tracking app need to host sexually explicit forums? It’s nuts. I’m so disappointed. Please beware.

  6. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

Nope. They lied it is not free they make you think it is free but it is not do not get this app

  7. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

No longer cares about you. This app used to be completely free. I loved it! I have used it through pretty much every pregnancy, practically my entire adult life. Then they made it subscription based and limited the options for the OG accounts. Fine. Annoying, but I can deal, since I have been using it for so long. But now they put up an advertisement that blocks the screen every time you try to do something. It is completely unusable now. I am extremely disappointed. They do not value their users. I’m done with this app. At least Ovia is still good to me. I prefer using at least 2 apps to track though, so now I will be looking for another one. I’m done with Glow and all their apps.

  8. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

About the app. Too much ads and pop ups I have this app for 4-5 years and it seems they’re trying to push so many things and tracking so idk I’ll be changing elsewhere

  9. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

Too many popups. The free version of this app has so many popups it takes 8-10 “clicks” to turn down options for buying the app before a user can complete a basic task like logging a period.

  10. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

Ugh over it.. I used to love this app. Now it seems to just push subscriptions on you and everything is locked. If you haven't logged in for a few days you get the blocked screen asking you to purchase their premium subscription 🙄 I'm just trying to log my period for the sake of knowing my last know period for my doctor appointments. It's so frustrating that I really don't want to log my information here anymore.

  11. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

Suuuucks. Bad customer service and the app has too much going on and isn’t intuitive. I ordered a thermometer and it was never delivered, and they won’t send a new one. They just say the post office is responsible and needs to reimburse me. Lol. Right.

  12. ★★★★crashes, freezes and data loss after updates

Horrible Lag. I used this app years ago to track my cycles and once I got an IUD and didn’t get a period anymore, i stopped tracking. I have decided to start tracking again for fertility purposes and I downloaded this one again and it is absolutely trash now. Everything lags. You have to push a button and wait 5-10 seconds for a response aleast 75% of the time. No thanks! I’ve already erased the app and I’m looking for something else.

  13. ★★★★other

All Content is AI. I have been using this app for years and liked the functionality and ease of use. I’m currently using it for my third pregnancy and it is so obvious that all content has been AI generated down to creepy AI generated pictures of skinny pregnant women. All the pregnancy tips and day by day info suck and feels soulless and fake now.

  14. ★★★★confusion over the 12+/16+ age requirement

DONT USE. I’m 13 and wanted to track my period and it said I had to be 16 or older. Like does your app not say 13+? What a rip off

  15. ★★★★crashes, freezes and data loss after updates

Downhill fast. After using this app to track my ovulation and periods for 6 years it just crashed and is making me start over and subscribe. TERRIBLE!!

  16. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

not the same as before. I have had this app since 2017. So many things that you have to pay for now were once free and it’s extremely disappointing. I liked and used the app for the free features since it’s so rare to find one that functions like this one used to, apparently. I accidentally deleted the app and redownloaded it to find that it is worse than I thought since I hadn’t updated it in a couple of years. I have to pay to see my CYCLE HISTORY?? IS THAT A JOKE???? This is ridiculous. Everything has a micro transaction now and no one should be paying into that nonsense. The community feature will always be a plus but this app is unusable for what it was made to do, which you can do yourself in a calendar so your information isn’t sold.

  17. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.. Glow has made it abundantly clear that they are comfortable ignoring their customers. I would never recommend this product or this company. Use the FLO app instead. My thermometer STILL does not work, even after following every troubleshooting step exactly as instructed. I have contacted customer service more than ten times with zero meaningful response. It has now been 12 days since anyone replied regarding my request for either a refund or a replacement. Their “48-hour response time” is nothing more than an automated empty promise. Their customer service phone number leads only to a recorded message that hangs up and directs you back to email where no one replies. Meanwhile, I have missed critical days of data. This directly impacts my ability to track what I need in order to achieve a positive pregnancy outcome. The consequences are not trivial. Glow’s lack of support has caused real stress during an already sensitive journey. I am deeply disappointed and will never use Glow again. I am moving to the FLO app, which I hope values and supports its users instead of abandoning them. Do NOT choose Glow. Choose the FLO app.

  18. ★★★★crashes, freezes and data loss after updates

Update from. Their update removed all of my old info 🙄 all so they can sell my period data to big corps too

  19. ★★★★community and forced social features

Terrible Communication. There are no admins and most of the women are in community chats to wish bad on ttc couples and treat this like it’s Facebook. I hate the community here on this app. I contacted admins and reached out for help with app creators and no one is doing anything about that hateful community on this app. I want my money back I’ll stick with premom and Flo. They are more accurate anyway.

  20. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

Terrible update. I’ve used Glow for over 8 years. The new update is awful. It’s constantly showing ads. I can’t even get past them to see my previous cycles. I don’t care about the discussion boards or the yearly premium. I’ll be finding something else. I also hate the new layout. You literally cannot click anything without a prompt to “upgrade” your app for a paid subscription. Annoying!

  21. ★★★★helped users conceive

I’m pregnant, stop the period reminders!. I’m pregnant and already switched my status in the app to “track pregnancy,” but it still keeps sending me period reminders😡Do you realize what that message means to someone who’s pregnant? This is really frustrating!

  22. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

ANNOYING. I loved this app for soooo many years. Never used another cycle tracking app. I got pregnant & stopped using it. Recently when I went back to it there is CONSTANT pop ups of pushing you to pay for premium. Can’t open the app without having to press “x” on something 1-3x. Can’t log something without having to do the same thing. Disappointed but I think it’s time I find another app.

  23. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

It. Changed.. I used to really like this app. It helped me get pregnant 4 times. I loved that I could look back at past cycles that led to successful pregnancies and see what that cycle looked like, how my OPK test strips looked, what my symptoms were, etc. BUT THEN they changed it. Now, they want ME to PAY to have access to MY information I logged before. How is that even legal? That is my private health information I logged about my own body/cycle. I want access that, but they want me to pay for these ridiculous quarterly and yearly plans to be able to see what *I* input in the past. Pictures of my OPK strips, my symptoms, information about my body, all of that is MINE. I should have access to the information I input before *without* paying. I logged all of that when the app was free, no subscriptions. Now they’ve decided they want to charge people subscription fees to have access to information they logged in the past. This app is taking advantage of vulnerable women who simply want to get pregnant and track their cycles. Scam.

  24. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

Glow refuses to delete my data. I am unable to delete my data as I signed up with iCloud. The app tells me to “Contact Glow Support”. I have emailed them 6 times, either getting no response, or a bot response telling me to delete through the app, which is exactly what I can’t do. They have been sued for data leaks, while refusing to delete your data. This is a huge concern for women’s privacy and safety. Regarding the app, you have to skip about 3 popups almost every tap, begging you to upgrade or pay for something. The absolute worst app I have ever used, in both user interface and protecting your data. Once they get your data, it’s theirs forever. I warn everyone to NOT create an account with Glow.

  25. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

Terrible customer service. I tried their ridiculous “premium” and cancelled the service within 3 days of use as I realized it was a joke, no need for a premium to track your cycles. There’s really not much of a plus to pay that much money. Somehow I was still on premium and they’ve been attempting to charge my card for an app I don’t even have downloaded anymore. I contact customer service to get one email saying they can help me but once I reply back with the information needed, I get ZERO communication back. I recommend Ovia over Glow.

  26. ★★★★crashes, freezes and data loss after updates

App crashing upon opening. I’ve loved this app for years it’s extremely accurate for me, but it’s now crashing immediately upon opening. Please fix!

  27. ★★★★crashes, freezes and data loss after updates

App. Try to open the app and it closes out I paid 67$ for this app . I need my money back lol

  28. ★★★★accuracy of cycle and ovulation predictions

Never right.. Always predicts ovulation late and periods too early despite logging for over a year now.

  29. ★★★★aggressive ads and paid subscription push

Unpadded Review. Not giving a positive rating if I cannot use the app for longer than 45 seconds my first time opening it without being prompted to adore Glow. absurd tactic for achieving your rating.

  30. ★★★★confusion over the 12+/16+ age requirement

Age. I think that this app should be available to users under 16. Younger women have periods too, so why should they not be able to access the apps that help them?
