   Lame. I believe in basic—but this is useless. If I can’t schedule a transaction, for say a vacation.— It’s lame and useless. I mean even a spreadsheet can do that. 🤷‍♂️

   No way to delete envelopes???. Maybe I'm just missing something but there does not seem to be any way to delete an envelope unless you delete ALL of them. Nor can you rename them or rearrange them. Baffling that the app has this many good reviews given the lack of basic functionality. Very disappointing since it is otherwise exactly what I've been looking for :/

   Very Confusing. This app seems designed to be user-friendly but I’ve spent 10 minutes trying to set it up and it was very confusing. I added the envelopes but adding transactions was difficult. How do you do it. I have no idea. This app needs more work to address the functionality.

   Edit: used to Adore this app. Edit: the new update made it cutesy instead of utilitarian. So tough to use. Fonts are hard to read, just doesn’t work for its intended purpose. PLEASE go back. Old review: I have used many systems over the years and this is the simplest, most efficient way to do it. It’s the envelope system but without carrying cash, let’s you get credit card points, and takes a fraction of a second to use when in line at the store - so it actually gets utilized! I love that there are no ads. I wish more companies were this efficient and simple. It’s a dream. Does exactly what it needs to do, well. I NEVER pay for apps and I’m so glad I took the chance with Envy.

   New Update. The new update does not work with apples clear/glass app customization. All my apps were the same color on my home screen and now Envy is not matching. The new template inside the app is also not great.

    Like it but don’t. I like the simplicity of this app but am no longer wanting to use it because of these issues: there is no way to delete envelopes individually. When you go to “help” it brings up a menu but when you click on a help subject nothing happens and it doesn’t expand for further explanation. When doing a deposit you can’t input cent amounts. You can’t edit a deposit amount if you put the wrong amount in, you have to start over with a new envelope and can’t delete the one you messed up on. Like I said I love the simplicity but the issues have made me incredibly frustrated.

    It’s not working properly. It doesn’t let me go back to see all my envelopes without exiting completely out and closing the window. And the page is cut off. Can y’all please fix this. I would love to use it without having to exit each time just to see my envelopes

    Why can't you sync with another device???. I was having fun until i decided to download this app onto my iphone and guess what I was like. Oh yeah, these apps will be able to sync. Of course they will every other budgeting app that I have tried. Does it and then guess what this app doesn't I wonder why is it to make more money off of subscriptions is it because I forgot to add sync but this just doesn't work and it's highly annoying. I decided to use it on itself with my iPad and my iPhone, it was really annoying though when I updated it onto my iPhone, it wouldn't update onto my iPad developers of Envy. Why did you never add this? Is it so you couldn't make more money it's very inconvenient and I would love it if you could add a syncing option cause I've checked you can't sync. It's also very annoying because I have a subscription on my iPad and if I wanna get a subscription on my phone. I'm gonna have to pay more four more dollars and I know you're probably thinking four dollars isn't that much I don't wanna have to pay extra money for stupid app that won't sync. Maybe people are like oh I don't really care about that for me. I do because I like things to be able to sync so I can do things quick and easily. Could you please add this developers? Holland all this app is amazing. It's a really simple app that is easy to figure out and easy to understand unlike other budgeting apps that I have tried sure I made a big deal out of the sinking thing, but it's really not that big of a deal for a lot of people cause not a lot of people have multiple devices that I know of at least and this app is just amazing. I just wish that it was a little more accessible to people who have two device sorry about that rant by the way I just get really annoyed about things that should be common sense to add, but aren't apparently.

    Clean interface, very promising app!. I am looking for a budget app and came across Envy. It didn’t have a lot of reviews, but I decided to try it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. What I really liked: - privacy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (no information collected!!) - price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (only 1 low one-time payment!!!) - Interface: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(really clean and easy to use. Especially like the add transaction screen’s simplicity!) - frequent updates, even for a 4-year old app! (That says the developer cares about this and is committed to it.) Opportunities for growth (What would make me switch to use this app): Accounts section for bank accounts or credit accounts Transaction quick entry from home page just like quick deposit (maybe use same page for both positive (deposit) and negative (spending) transactions) Jump to transaction by tapping entry in recent transactions Charts! See how money was spent by category and date range, see spending vs. earning by date range, bonus: click on category in chart to jump to list of transactions filtered by chart date range Optional: choose from different logos to personalize (this is obviously not a need, just a bonus) Overall, while some functionality I use is not yet present, I am very impressed by what I’ve seen. I plan to follow this app for updates and strongly consider switching in the future! (Btw, to the developer: I would be willing to pay more than $5 for these features.)

    Clean look. It seems to be very user friendly but was looking for something that I could plug due dates in along with envelope budgeting.

    Too limiting. Simple to use. At first seemed what I needed. Keeping track of electronic version of cash envelopes. But then I found out it’s limitations. You cannot rename an envelope. No way to delete just one envelope. At least I couldn’t find a way. Plus (and this is HUGE for me), you can’t put in cents. Really? I need to be able to track transactions including the pennies. This adds up over time with multiple envelopes and dozens of transactions while aren’t perfect dollars. These limitations have been brought up in other reviews. So I’ll be deleting the app.

    Too simplistic for me. I downloaded the app and started to use it but for what I need it is just too much manual entry. If you ever create a version that links to the bank and pulls my transactions in automatically, I would be very much interested. Thanks

    Could Be Better. I wish you could sign in to save things because I accidentally deleted the app after paying for the lifetime premium and now I have to pay again to get it back! There also seems to be no way to get support or help. I also wish you could schedule the envelopes to reset at a certain day of the month. Help!

    Ok. Very clean and good foundation. Unfortunately for me, I paid for the full version before I realized there are no scheduled transactions. I need to automate my finances so I can just be told what I have. Sadly, it’s a deal breaker for me but I’ll likely keep an eye on this app. Great potential.

    Good but could be a bit better!. Hello! Just writing to say I love a lot about the app, such as the ability to add memos to the deductions and the dollar amount at the top. However, I have been noticing some things that I really wish were different. One is that there is nowhere to see what your original total was. I think it would be really helpful to see how much I would be spending per month if I spent everything in each envelope. Perhaps at the top if it was not just the amount left, but something like original amount/amount left, that would help with budgeting a lot. I was able to see the original amount before the month started, but then I realized I needed to add more envelopes, and couldn’t remember how much the total would be. Also, I wish there was a way to save each month rather than just deleting or resetting. That would help with tracking trends as well. What also has been bugging me a lot is that editing in this app is really hard. I have a really hard time with changing the amount in the envelope after I have created the envelope. Sometimes I realize I should have accounted for something else or want to divide one envelope into two, and most of the time I just end up starting over. I feel this could be made much easier.

    Love the function. This app is very handy for being able to budget for certain things every month. Love the feature to replenish a set amount into each envelope with just a push of a button. I do feel like since this new update the colors of the envelopes are more muted and harder to see on the screen. I wish there were more options for more vivid and bright colors.

    Weekly friendly?. Was a five star app before last update. I budget weekly, and the app before the latest update was much more conducive to that. With the recent changes it seems only to work efficiently for monthly budgets. The new look is really cute, but I wish I had the option go back to the previous version.

    Please add folders!!!. I loveee this app!! It’s incredibly helpful and has made tracking my spending, bills, and transactions so much easier. I however, use a lot of envelopes to stay organized—making it a bit overstimulating sometimes. that’s the only place I feel a bit limited. I’d love to see more options to organize envelopes—like having folders would be so a great help or custom sorting, as right now it is alphabetically listed. Overall, amazing app and super useful. Highly recommend!

    Good app! …but it would be great if…. It’s a good app and I’ve been using it for over a year now. It is what I need and was looking for, but it would a great app if I could sync it to more than just my phone. Please make this app for iPhone, iPad and MacBook. Also please make it so we can sync it to all devices! This app would be a dream come true then!

    Wish I could sync. I am enjoying the app so far, but it would be really great if I could use it either on my MacBook or on my phone and the information would be available on both. Other than that, I’m really grateful for the ability to track my cashless spending and still know how much I have left from what I budgeted. I’m also very grateful for a lifetime access subscription instead of being charged every month or every year.

    Just wish there was a login screen. Love this app, but want to share it with my husband. We don't need separate accounts, just the ability to sign in on two devices.
