   Updates. How bad are your programmers? This app updates 5 days a week.

   The new update is bad. The old version of Expensify is great! Very easy to use and simple. The new update is actually probably the worst user experience I’ve had in a while and seems like AI made a worse version of the app. Thank goodness you can still switch to the old version.

   New update adds more steps, complexity. Goal of app update should be reducing friction. The latest update adds more taps, consistently loses track of my login status, and rearranged many of the quick and easy features in the previous app. It looks pretty but performs poorly. Would use something else if I had a choice…

   Confusing Horrible new interface. Why they changed something that was working almost perfect is beyond me. The new app is confusing as hell. It requires significantly more inputs than before. It forces you to categorize everything up front and then assign to a report. I compile my expenses daily then pull one date range report at the end of the year. I can’t find any way to do this anymore. So I’m replacing Expensify.

    Terrible. App is ALWAYS glitchy. Half my expenses didn’t load this month. So frustrating!

    Scam. This was not compatible for me. It never said I needed to pay for the service during the trial. It asked me for a payment method to continue using the app but I didn’t want to continue using the app. Now it won’t allow me to close my account because I have an “unpaid balance” and I can’t contact anyone at the company. Stay away!!

    This expense reporting system is the worst. I would rather not get my expenses than to sit in front of my computer all day trying to figure out ways to get a report done on this platform. Absolute garbage.

    Frequent Failures. Very aggravated. Have had app for three years. Two or three times a year. I have to delete the app and re-download it because it will encounter failures. Most recently it says that it is smart scanning the receipt but nothing ever shows up. I’ve had to manually enter several receipts recently.

    Can’t save trip name. Can’t book anything because the save button doesn’t appear to save a trip name. Useless for booking anything.

    Old mileage rates. My only option for mileage rates is from 2024. I called and they said they would address it but that was about a year ago. Tried removing and reinstalling the app but that didn’t work.

    I hate this app. Crashes all the time, looses info, mixes up numbers. It’s a wonder I ever get anything back. The web version is serviceable. But the app needs a major overhaul.

    Doesn’t work in so many ways. Cannot get this app to do anything. And the nudges about how I could automate my expenses when my organization blocks those features is infuriating.

    Way to screw up a good app. This app used to be good, it wasn’t great. There are definitely things I would change. I would love to keep all of my expenses as reimbursable because all of my expenses are reimbursable. But I can’t change that as a default. The whole new UI and changing the names of everything just makes it confusing. I keep getting alerts from the concierge that there’s a problem with my receipts and then I asked the concierge what the problem is and they say there’s no problem. One time they told me to go to the inbox and look for the red dot on the expense report, and there wasn’t anything in the inbox. So frustrating it takes me twice as long to put receipts in now cause I have to do it twice.

    NEW EXPENSIFY SUCKS. What is going on. Absolutely horrible. Nothing works. Switch back to the old version of Expensify. “NEW” Expensify is terrible. Whoever developed this and gave the ok to rollout should be fired.

    App seems to get worse with every update. What once was a great app is no longer. It seems like the app becomes more data reliant with each update. The bugs with limited service are basically unworkable now. UPDATE: It’s seems like they’ve doubled down on their bad programmers, and now receipts are completely missing data.

    Last version is a big fail. Developers do something. I’m at the airport, you forced me to download the latest version and it keeps closing unexpectedly whenever I click an option on the left side menu. Can’t submit my work expenses. This version is a total failure
