No dark mode!. There is no dark mode. App is blindingly bright.

They never attend video calls. Very Bad

Waist of money. Waisted 35 bucks on a app subscription described as tela health so I didn’t have to take my dog in to the vet . She got kennel cough from her last grooming (and is contagious ) . all this app did was charge me 35 bucks to say take your dog into the vet anyways . Which is what I the description of the services the app offered was supposed to be included in the membership fee . Nope it’s vet techs answering questions and just saying you need to take your dog in and spend money . Save time and money just take your dog in to the vet and skip this app .

Lying title. “Instant 24/7 virtual care at no cost to you” yeah ok. You have to pay $30 a month or a $75 dollar fee to get on a video call

They “couldnt” charge my card. After their recent policy update that new members would not qualify for the $3000 emergency fund, they all of a sudden started having issues with charging the card that’s been completely fine for months and months. I even added a new card and they didn’t try to charge that one. So they ended up cancelling my service and now if I join again I’m sure the card will charge just fine, but I won’t have the emergency fund. Shameful business practices.

Horrible. I got this because of life threatening . Well I’m 10.7.22 my 7yr lab is diabetic . She stopped eating and drinking . They said it was not life threatening. At 9.13pm on 10.9.22 my lab passed away . So thank you for denying me life threatening. They told me to take her to petsmart or petco vet.

Don’t waste your money. I can’t not say it enough don’t waste your money customer service was rude and condescending, they won’t give you your money back after not helping at all this was a waste of $30 that could have gone to actually getting my dog the help he needed they don’t care about our pets they just want our money.

Save your money. Waste of money and time the vets can’t prescribe any medication for your animals. So that’s right, your dog has a clear ear infection? Too bad all the vets on here can do is tell you to go see your in person vet. So if you want to pay $30 a month for a person on the other end of the phone so tell you “yeah you’re gonna have to take them in person because I can’t prescribe the medications”. Might as well save your money and call ANYONE else because it can’t be any worse than that.

Google is free.. I wasted 30 dollars so that they can tell you that they can’t help you. They don’t care to see any images or video of symptoms. They will give you a very vague idea of what “ it might be” which can be easily found by Google search. At the end of the day, I blame myself and this won’t happen again. I wasted 30 dollars because I was desperate.

Not worth it take your dog to the vet. I spent $30 to see what was wrong with my puppy fur . Okay I wouldn’t usually do this but my vet wasn’t taking appointments . The reviews looked really good too. I got on the call with the doctor it sound like he was driving . He barely even talk to me , he gave me possibilities what it can be . He couldn’t even see the pictures I sent of her . All he did was send me a link he got from online . He said her skin was like that because of fleas. I texted him but no response. My vet ended up squeezing me in and it was ringworms 🤦🏽♀️. I WASTED 30 dollars , DO YOUR DOG A FAVOR AND TAKE THEM TO THE VET!

Bad service. Charged twice and now no way to contact anyone for help

They charge you even if you don’t connect with the vet. I can’t say I am a fan. We love our vet. And I get that this app lets vets use unused time for additional appointments. But we’ve never been able to actually schedule the Airvet appt. instead, we just get an impromptu call on the app from our vet. That is fine if we are available when he calls. But Airvet, conveniently for them, charges you regardless whether you are available or not. Then you have to spend time cleaning it up. That feels like taking advantage and leaves a bad taste.

Not a vet service. Talk to a vet on this app because my dog has allergies and some sort of skin condition. Was expecting to get a prescription or something to help him. Oh all she told me was to go see my vet.I thought that’s what I was doing. It’s the equivalent if there was a app to help you with car repair and they told you to go see your mechanic.

Can’t prescribe in all states. Would have been nice to know that this was just a triage vet if your personal vet does not answer. We needed an antibiotic prescribed and was not able to because the vet was not licensed in our state. Paid money for something I already know the answer to

I wanted to love this but…. Seriously, please tell your doctors to not pick up calls when they’re on the beach on vacation. This isn’t Uber. The doctor that took my call said he couldn’t see my cat because the sun is blinding him on his phone and he was standing on under a beach sign trying to find a shady spot. The call ended up in him basically telling me to go to the vet. Bonus, he did manage to throw around the worlds cancer and euthanasia which put me in an extra tizzy. I’ll be canceling my subscription. Seriously?

THEY DO NOT CALL IN MEDS!. My dog had a bladder bladder infection, she gets them often due to a car accident before we adopted her. My vet is on vacation so, I thought I’d try this. I’m going to ask for a refund. No drugs are allowed to be called in, so “drinking more water.” Isn’t exactly care, especially for $30.

Not Helpful. I downloaded the app because my dog had an eye infection. When I was connected to a vet, they said that they could not write a prescription. I was charged $30 for a 30 second call. Don’t download unless you’re looking for guidance only.

Do Not Use. My vets office had no idea how to use this, just told me it was the only way to speak to my vet about my dogs surgery. BIG mistake! Post-Op I was worried that something was wrong. Tried Airvet and seen it was $30 to speak to the vet. Called vet office and they wanted to make appointment and charge me for office visit! 8 months later.... my 7 yr old dog is ill for the 1st time. Have an office visit. Doc tells me to open a case for communication for free follow up. Not sure how to do that, so I called the vet office for guidance. Well, “Chantelle” told me to use the 24/7 tab and it would auto select my pre-selected Vet I registered on Airvet. Nope. Random out out my state Vet tried to video call 2x. I declined both times. COST ME $40 to decline calls! AND I can’t remove my stored credit card. My take away? Airvet is horrible and if you bet office pushes this app? Be Leary. Found out my small town vet sold out and is now just a money mill.

Total rip-off. They will not help you get medication for your pet because they can’t write a prescription without actually seeing the dog. The Vet was rude and did nothing for me total waste
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Little benefit. Thought we’d be able to get prescriptions but that is not the case. All they’ll do is tell you to go to a vet or ER. waste of $30

DO NOT BUY!!! SCAM. They took my money immediately for a phone call after it states you will not be charged until your case is closed. I used Apple Pay, the money was taken immediately and no services were rendered. There’s no open case, no pending case and no closed case. Where is my phone call?!? I ended up calling the emergency vet because this trash app asked for another $30 dollars after already charging me $30. It didn’t send an email to confirm but I see the money taken out and charge from Airvet. I already made a complaint with my bank and Apple. What kind of janky service is this? If I could give this negative stars I would. Buyer beware!!!!

Wasted Money. I was charged 30.00 for a video chat of less than 5’min. During the chat all I saw was a black screen the “alleged vet” Refusing to turn on lights. Would not recommend anything for me to do at home cannot prescribe medication. The only thing they Do is charge you 30.00 to tell you to call a local vet. If a local vet had been available why would I have reached out to them???? I want a REFUND

No prescriptions.. You will not be able to get a prescription through Airvet. The veterinarian I spoke to explained that this is for legal reasons which is understandable; however, Airvet doesn’t mention this anywhere in the App Store description nor do they mention it during account setup or while booking an appointment. Airvet needs to be more transparent about not being able to get prescriptions through the app. I wasted $30 on a visit because my pet needed a prescription and I still have to go through my normal vet to acquire one. My normal vet won’t even take the advice of the Airvet veterinarian and insists on seeing my pet in person.

No. The app did not connect me to my vet and charged $30 for a vet that couldn’t help due to being 12 hours away!

No Prescription Capability. Currently have a pet who is getting up there in age. She definitely has arthritis at this stage in here life and was looking for an anti inflammatory to help her out. Too hard to get her loaded up in the car and then sit in a waiting room, that’s why I was looking to use AirVet. Come to find out, they can’t even write prescriptions without seeing the animal. Kind of a let down.

App not for birds. Extremely disappointed. Do not use this app if you have a bird as a pet. I was charged $30 for a AirVet to tell me he couldn’t help me and I needed to see an exotics vet. If you can’t help me why charge me?! Buyer beware.

$30 to talk to a vet!. My 2 year old cat is coughing. It’s $30 to talk to a vet, they can’t prescribe over the phone. Will probably tell me to take my cat to the vet. No thanks!

Don’t Waste Your Money!!!. I don’t think the “veterinarians” are truly certified, as she had to do some research on her computer to tell me what she thought was wrong with my dog. They don’t prescribe anything and instead tell you to visit a veterinarian clinic. The list of things she told me my dog could possibly have was about 10 different things which I had already found and researched on my own before speaking to her. I’m so disappointed To have wasted my money on this app.

Don’t be fooled by these TeleVet apps!. None of the televet apps can help to treat you animal. They will only tell you to go to a vet, then charge you for your tele-visit. They are “advice” only. I know you may second guess what I’m saying because we humans can get prescriptions and meds over this same type of service but vets have made this illegal to get anything prescribed to you via a televet visit. My wife and kids can sit in front of a screen and have meds to feel better within minutes but you can’t do the same for a dog or cat! If you know you need meds for a condition, this is not the service for you.
