   App update. When downloading this app it comes up with an error message stating that the version of the downloaded app is outdated and needs to be updated. However, the last update was years ago and my Apple Store shows that the app has been fully updated. Now, we cannot access the “login” or “account setup” page and there is no way to use the QR code we bought.

   DOES NOT WORK. Got the tag and went to set up. Says it needs an update but when you try to update there’s no update. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still didn’t work. Tried to refresh and again still says it needs an update but yet has no update.

   These should not be sold in stores. This is such a scam this company is garbage and this app doesn’t work good thing this tag was only $2 at Walmart but this is still a scam don’t even bother

   App not working. I’ll change my stars once they update the app. I downloaded it but when it says I have to updated the app but it doesn’t give an update option in the App Store so I bought this pet tag for nothing.

   App is out of date and not functional. We have downloaded the App and when you open it to launch it says out of date version, download new updated version hyperlink launches you back to the App Store and you’re sent to a loop right back to where you started. It does not work.

   Don’t waste money. As of today, June 27, 2026 if you have the latest iPhone or the latest iPhone update do not download the app. The app will tell you that it needs to update but when you go to the App Store, it will not show an update even if you uninstall and reinstall the app it will continue to say so so please developers can you start changing your packaging on your tags to let it be known that iPhone users cannot use the app or at least up-to-date iPhone users so we won’t waste our money. I mean it was only six bucks cause I bought two tags and they are three dollars a tag but yeah overall completely useless. I’d give it zero stars.

    Useless. App is up to date, no updates available but won’t go past the “this version is out of date, please update to commercial version to continue” but there is not other version. Bought 3 of these tags and wasted my money.

    Can’t use the tags i just bought as the app is broken and constantly says it’s out of date. I just bought these eggs from the store today June 26 of 2026 and the app when you download it immediately switch switches to this app is out of date. Please download the new one from the store and it gives you a link back to the same app you just download anything so I just wasted a bunch of money buying these stupid tags that I can’t even use.

    NEEDS FIXED. When I open app it tells me that it’s out of date and needs updated but when I go to the App Store, it does not need updated just as open I go and uninstall the app and reinstall it and now it won’t let me sign in because it’s saying it’s out of date and needs update updated so I’m locked out of my account essentially so I need help!! I also have a cat that I missing that has a paw scout Qr tag on and I am unable to mark him as “lost”! I like this app and I will update my rating to five stars when this gets fixed. I haven’t really liked this app this product.

    I will change if you can fix this. I am not happy with this product at all I download it’s app and then bam tells me update the app but there is nothing to update… make it make sense to where it is usable again and I will change my one star

    Useless. Worst part is that you depend on this to help but no one can actually help with this terrible app. We tried a test of the system and it’s broken in every aspect. Total waste of money and worse, puts your peers at risk if you actually are depending on this junk to help.

    Awful, doesn’t work, waste of money. Took me three devices and an hour to even get the tag to scan so I could set it up. None of our devices will scan the code to test it is working/setup correctly. Can’t do anything in the app without it popping up every three seconds to upgrade. Waste of money and useless.

    BOGUS!!. oh it's free alright, oh yeah download our free app so we can charge you individually for every single little tiny itty bitty thing the packaging hyped! and i read the fine print! you're a bunch of dix!! Paw yourself, ScoutSuck!!

    The app doesn’t track the Chip it tracks your phone.. What kind of worthless idiots make an app and a tracking device that are supposed to work together, but doesn’t? The microchip that goes on the collar is not tracked by the app. The only time it will send you a notifications if somebody scans the QR code on the Chip. But as far as using your phone to track your animal, that is missing, it does not work. And it has never worked. I guaranteed Pawscout has scammed thousands of people other money thinking that they’re protecting their pets. That is called a class action suit. Yeah we only spent $6 to $10 on the Chip. But it will end up costing Pawscout millions. Because they will have to pay pain and suffering to the people who have lost their pet again because they thought that this device worked!

    phone number not working for me. I bought the tag a few days ago and I put my email and everything but when I put my phone number it always tells me to try again later? I just installed the app I went to google and did my research however cant solve the problem.

    Absolutely ZERO customer support- DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I was so excited to get these tags for my pets. Occasionally a door in my house gets accidentally left open and one of my pets escapes. I am always a nervous wreck until they return which is why I was so excited to get these tags. My beloved cat got out and of course I was worried but remembered I had this tag on his collar. Went to go use the app to locate him and cannot figure it out at all. Kept getting alerts someone kept scanning his tag but cannot figure out where that person is , or where my pet is or how to contact the person scanning his tag. I have written to Pawscout customer service FIVE TIMES asking for help and have got ZERO RESPONSE FROM THEM. My cat went missing two months ago. I still have not found him.

    Can’t even register my tag or use app. Your app says it needs to be updated as soon as I open it. There’s no update available and my iPhone is up to date. Can you please fix your app..? I’d like to think I didn’t just waste my money on this tag.

    SCAM. If I could rate negative stars I would. They make it seem like they are here for you and your pets safety it all sounds amazing. All a BIG LIE! it’s cheap but not worth it to not even work for 1 SECOND AT ALL! And when you reach out for help to fix the app they won’t respond then after writing them a bunch of times n giving up n trying g to get a refund they REFUSE! Don’t waste your time or money i promise you WILL NOT be able to track your pet ANYWHERE ! I ADVISE YOU TO AVOID THIS SCAM!!

    Too many errors. If I could give it zero stars I would , it took forever to set up just for it to have a error message when I finally put all my info . I thought this was similar to an AirTag but this experience is worth anyone time . Definitely invest in a AirTag at this point . Save you time and money in the long run .

    Scam !!!!!. Don’t recommend getting this I signed up and paid for yearly subscription set it all up put the tag on my dog only to find out it doesn’t track your dog it tracks you 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
