   Sux. I’ve been a valid member since day one; and now having to pay for filters and or monthly sucks. Why? Because I had already had the filters and now I have to repay it

   Crashes every use. I’ve had this app for a number of years without issue but over the past few months it’s become impossible to use. It crashes repeatedly no matter what I do so I end up frustrated and don’t use it. Please fix it!

   All of a sudden we’re locked behind a paywall? After years of use?. I’ve been using A Color Story for YEARS. Back when it actually felt like a creative app built by creatives, not another subscription funnel. The flare & bokeh tools were part of what made the app special & helped define an entire editing era. Now features longtime users have used forever suddenly locked behind a paywall. It’s frustrating watching an app that built its following on accessible creativity slowly nickel-and-dime the very people who supported it from the beginning. I understand apps evolve & developers need income. But there’s a difference between growing a business & stripping away core features longtime loyal users already had access to. It leaves a really bad taste. Honestly? It feels like the soul of the app got replaced by monetization strategy. I’ll sacrifice the filter packages I purchased & just delete the app. Honestly? Disappointing.

   So slow now. Lost all my old videos and photos. This app is no longer usable. It’s so slow and after the update I lost everything I worked hard on 😔 this app isn’t worth paying for anymore

   App crashes. Charged me for membership, app crashes and closes, they refuse to refund me. I contacted you guys and couldn't solve anything! I contacted Apple after they denied my refund and they said to contact you guys. $30 lost. 🤡

   No multi use. If you own both an apple and Samsung, you are only allowed to purchase per device brand. Meaning you can’t purchase the pro on an apple device and then decide to switch to android and transfer your purchase. You must repurchase the pro. Only application I know that does this. Adobe photoshop, Lightroom and even Vsco all allow you to use an email.

   Switch up. For some reason almost all of the filter packs that I paid for are now a part of a color story pro, and I can no longer find the option to restore all of my purchases to get those filters back. I’m not purchasing them again, and if you can only get them with pro, then I’m deleting the app entirely.

   Very disappointed by paywall. After using and paying for A Color Story for years, I’m incredibly disappointed to see the unrelenting push towards a subscription model. When I opened the app today, almost everything is behind a paywall—even the filters I used last week. I have deleted the app and will not be returning.

    No way to submit major bug. I rarely give negative reviews, but I will happily update this one if a fix is implemented. I had this app several years ago and enjoyed it, so I decided to purchase the Pro version tonight with a full year subscription. However, I discovered a major bug: many of the filters do not display properly and appear black. I checked the help files but didn't find any information on troubleshooting. When I tried to send a message through their support form, I encountered an error page that said, "The reCAPTCHA response is invalid or malformed." I hope this makes it to someone and a fix will be available soon! Thank you!

    Projects just close & Design Kit. I feel like both Color Story and Design Kit have been mostly abandoned by their OG creators. It’s disappointing to me that I spent a lot of money on both apps and they kinda stink rn. They were my favorite editing apps. :(

    Glitchy and money grabby. Resets constantly, difficult to edit in bulk. Consistently (and conveniently) forgets past purchases.

    Why did you take away my in app purchases?. I had purchased several in app filter packs over the years. Now 12 of those are gone and part of your pro program so I have to pay that monthly to be able to use what I had already paid for??? It’s ridiculous and just a money grab!! Won’t be using this app again! Would give zero stars if I could!

    Purchase hungry. As someone who has been using the app for years it feels like with every update the app conveniently never saves your purchases and then pushes for you to use their subscription based service even though you’ve paid for individual filters . Always a problem, always glitchy.

    Starting to get insanely annoyed. I’ve had this app for years. I’ve loved it up until recently. I have also put in plenty of money buying filter packs from this app yet every few months the app changes and something else needs to get paid for in order to use it because slowly every aspect of this app now has to have a pro subscription to use. I’ve paid well over $20 for this app already and it’s just continuing to ask for more money. It’s not worth it now.

    Glitch?: An issue with the custom presets. Background: I am a long time user and major fan of A Color Story. I plug it all the time when people ask me what I use. I bought the individual color corrector before they placed that under their newer subscription model. Sometimes I am forced to log out & the app forgets I bought it but I am always able to figure out within 5 minutes that they still honor my original purchase and allow me to use the individual color corrector. For that, I am very thankful and I love the company. Problem: I am having problems with the custom presets. I would apply the preset to my image, and it would look beautiful and just how I expected. But then when I save to Grid+Phone, the image completely changes to a different preset. I think it is pasting my preset like 10 times because my preset it a slight warm tone, but the saved photo is straight up orange. I have NEVER had this problem, and I have used this app for years!! Maybe since 2018! I love this app so much and I just need some help. I am so sorry for the bad review, I just really need some help with this glitch. Thank you so much and I will adjust my review accordingly once everything is back to normal! Thank you A Color Story team!! ❤️

    Rip off. Feeling scammed. I have this app for about 6 years. Back in time I literally purchased a lot of the filters and the app now turned the already purchased filters into “pro”, making me pay extra for it. Also a lot of the filters and effects I have paid for don’t exist anymore. They completely disappeared from the app. So be careful giving this company any of your money.

    Won’t let me log in. I’ve been going in circles trying to restore my purchases. Keeps asking me to log in, which I do via FB. I verify my browser and save it. Then I go back to this app and it makes me do the same thing and won’t restore my purchases. I paid for these and now you won’t let me log in. You’ve stolen my money. I’ve used this app for years and I am disgusted.

    Nearly unusable since it's face-lift. Ever since this app got a face-lift, it has lagged for me across two iPhones. It shouldn't take more than a second to apply a custom preset - one of the best features of this app, WHEN IT WORKS, and the thing that keeps me coming back - yet for the last six months or so, it lags 30+ seconds most times between presets being applied, a d will often crash. I'm super disappointed and frustrated with the usability absolutely tanking lately.

    Crashes. This app used to be my go to. The last year or more it freezes and crashes every time I try to use one of my preset options. It is completely up to date and with each update it hasn’t resolved that issue. It’s so frustrating.
