   Subscription not working. I was really like this app, but not all of a sudden, premium features aren’t working. It says “is_premium required” when I have a yearly premium subscription that doesn’t renew until May 2027.

   Update deleted my videos!!!!. I’ve had this app for YEARS and I loved it. I had a couple of videos on there. At some point, it automatically updated and it deleted ALL of my videos. I emailed them for help and I never got a response. When I wrote a review I got a response telling me to contact them through the app but there’s no way to do so. Very very disappointed

   junk. expensive junk. won’t remember any settings if you close the app. have to reselect flash, camera type, aspect ratio every time. the app opens to library first, not to camera and you have to clock over every time. the icons for cam type it shows in screenshots aren’t actually in the app and instead are random line drawings that don’t tell you what kind of mode you’re in. just go spend $30 on a real digicam instead.

    Don’t buy this. It’s so mid it’s not even funny. There’s a pay wall before you can test it. Trust me do not buy this app it’s garbage. Update: Developer responded trying to minimize my comments about quality and make it about the paywall. This app is trash. Straight up. Guarantee you will regret it.

    Doesn’t work, don’t bother. Opened the app and it just flashes you with a bunch of nonsense about how celebrities use this app without any proof or anything.. cool whatever, don’t care. Then it just takes you to a screen demanding you pay and won’t let you leave until you do… so you can’t even see the app or filters unless you pay for them??? Not even an example or sample or anything. This is goofy.

    Incredibly limited. The app used to have a better, although more unstable interface. The current interface has eliminated several options that made the app useful. Incredibly cumbersome. Do not recommend.

    Why just WHY. Ok once I got the app it was free and I got to shoot some pretty cool stuff then now when I turned on the app for a convert it shows me smth elese and thought that it was and update but before I could even do anything I NOW NEED A SUBSCRIPTION?!     Perpetual license. I bought this software non sub years ago and they took the software from people who bought it fair and square. What a shady company and I would never buy this again. I can’t even comment on my purchase because it looks like the interface I enjoyed is gone also. Looks like a downgrade.

    Used to be amazing-subscription wanna be insta now. Smh. This app used to be great but now they're greedy. No one cares that "celebrities use this app". Cool, too bad normal people like me who have been using it for years can't anymore. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh well. The Rarevision one is better. No free app is worth a monthly subscription. Deleting and never using again, but it doesn't matter cuz I'm not a celebrity right? Worst update of all time. Would give it 0 stars if I could. Plus if I wanted to be on insta I would be, thanks.

    Past Vids All Lost. I’ve had this app since 2018 and I’ve been using it to vlog my progress in life, I don’t mind the update or having to pay for filters now, I just want my videos back that this update deleted.

    Scam. Paid for the full license when this app first came out. All of a sudden, it updates to a new version & now I have to pay for subscription when I have been using the app fully for years. I’m certain this is a breach of the original agreement when I purchased. Total Scam

    Why did you change???. This app was one of my favorites. I was capturing precious moments of my kids growing up for a video montage I was putting together to share with my wife in the future. Now out of nowhere the app upgrades and you’ve robbed us of that joyful moment. The things people do for profit is sad! You had a good product but decided to sell and now your app looks terrible! The quality is generic and doesn’t look vintage at all, just discolored. I didn’t use this app because your recent Kardashian and Ronaldo investors now use it. I can’t believe I have to find another platform after all these years! Sell outs! Smh

    Unethical Subscription Model Change. I’ve been a loyal user of RAD VHS since it launched in 2016, back when I paid for the app as a one-time purchase. Now, I can’t even use the app unless I pay for a subscription. This is completely unfair to those of us who supported the app early on. There was no notification or update to the terms when this change was made. It feels like I’m being forced to pay twice for something I already own. Loyal customers deserve better than this bait-and-switch tactic. Very disappointed.
