   Expensive. Downloaded this to scan codes within images. I feel as though I’m young and competent which is why I’m totally unsure as to how this app was greenlit to take the amount of money it did from me. If you have a connected payment method, it apparently took very little to activate a free trial (unbeknownst to me) and I can’t believe a service like this isn’t free

   Terrible app. If I could have rated it a zero I would have. The app wouldn’t find the instructions for a video after trying to scan the QR code. Neither would it allow me to input the code manually. Terrible app. I cancelled even the trial because it is worthless. I better not get charged after the “trial period”.

EVERYTHING is behind a subscription service paywall. Yes, even the simple act of scanning barcodes (which is what this app was made for????) Wanna see what this barcode belongs to? Sign up for our subscription! Search up a barcode number? Subscribe! No, I’m not signing up for your subscription service to scan like one barcode, go screw yourselves.

   False pricing . Check your accounts. There is about four Apps they are charging me for that I did not know. It’s fusterating . Now I need to figure how to cancel . It’s wrong what they are doing

   Highway robbery app. I found this app from a sponsored ad on safari and all I want is to scan a code from a screenshot, idk how much it takes to build a feature that does that but that should not cost more then 1 penny let alone a subscription, looking through the high 5 star reviews just HAVE to be from bots or they are paid, hahaha goodbye wym 20$ for a QR code scanner that’s hilarious. At least make it gated so you can only scan screenshots a certain amount per day and THEN ask for 20$ hahaha

    Total garbage. The code on an item I ordered says “scan with the Transparency app.” Downloaded the app, got a 3 day free trial, the app could not provide any information despite scanning the code multiple times. Decided to try the “upgrade”- for the low low price of $7.99 PER WEEK. Total insanity- but I really wanted the info embedded in this code and decided I would cancel the subscription afterwards. Even with the upgrade, the app still couldn’t give me any info for a product that literally identifies THIS APP by NAME as the way to read the code. Immediately cancelled subscription and deleted the app- not even worth the 10 minutes of my time that I’ll never get back, much less a cost of $28 per month for the “premium” version. **also worth noting that if you read other reviews that are 5 stars, many of them appear to be for some other product or service…a VW mechanic? A speaker? What does this have to do with this app?? Total SCAM

    Garbage app. Doesn’t work at all and would cost $24 per month if I didn’t cancel the trial!! That price is insane and no app is worth that and I think that’s why the developers didn’t really put much effort into it, the functionality is not the point of the app, it’s suckering rubes who don’t cancel the subscription. High quality features? Like the free features built into the basic functionality of the phone I already have?

    i dont wanna empty my wallet over a qr code. broski u have to pay for everything. I scanned a water bottle and it didn’t show me anything. I could scan a barcode better with a toaster.

    Cannot save scanned barcode image. If I generate a barcode from within the app, I can save the image, but if I select a barcode from my photo library, I cannot save the barcode image. This makes no sense.

    Forced to pay. Wanted to install and try but they forced me to pay to even do that. Will be requesting a refund and Apple needs to look into this trend of tricking people into buying subscriptions to apps just because the open the frikkin thing.

    Awful service can’t get ahold or company. Phone had this app automatically populate and I emailed the company assuring now charge on my apple account and no reply. Does anyone know if this app is Downloaded in your apple device if your charger automatically and if so how do you cancel as I can’t find anyway to cancel or have an answer from this QR scanner app

    Doesn’t work with photos. I have a picture of the QR code from my classroom. I downloaded the app, selected photos, gave permission to view my photos and selected the picture with the QR code. The app then goes back to live feed no matter how many times I select the picture. Doesn’t work for my needs.

    Greedy company. They make an excuse that they pay users for top notch experience which is all talk and means nothing to the users. No one cares about your app having excellent features! People are here hoping to just scan a qr code and thats all! That’s what the app should be doing for people FOR FREE. The pay wall is ridiculous no excuse can justify it
