   Stashcook?. After filling out the survey it wants me to subscribe to “stashcook” for $30 a month. Not sure what this has to do with saving recipes from social media.

   Really?? My entire life??. I don’t need a cookbook that once my entire life on file this is ridiculous. The old cookbook, before it was called stashcook was much better. My age group shouldn’t be required to use it. That’s nonsense. And now you charge for it? I’m deleting the app. This is ridiculous. Why couldn’t you have just left the old app the way it was? I’ve been using this app for years and now I can’t thanks.

   Not actual recipe. The recipe that is saved does not match the recipe that you’re trying to save. It says that it’s AI enhanced. Therefore it is often a completely different recipe. Came back again continue to try to save recipes. Not a single recipe was the actual recipe that I viewed on the YouTube video. But whatever AI searched out using that name for the recipe so they are completely different than the one that you’re seeing.

   Refund. I canceled my trial and was still charged for the year. I contacted Apple to request a refund and it got denied twice with no explanation. I just want my money back for an app I don’t use!

    Absolute garbage of an app. This app hasn’t worked since I began paying - the only way I can get it to work is to delete it, reinstall it, then it works for a day. Save your money and look elsewhere.

    False advertising. This description of “no charges and no membership” is a total lie. This actually costs money after a 7 day trial. Not sure why the developers couldn’t just be upfront about that from the get-go…

    It isn’t free. I just downloaded this app, hopeful for an organized way to house all of my online recipes. Well, it’s only a free trial. They lure you in with th download being free then try to charge. Forget it, why would anyone pay for this?!? Print the recipe or write it down and put it in a recipe book.

    Good idea but the app needs fixing. I was using the app for a bit and it was working fine but for the past 2 weeks anytime I try opening the app it doesn’t even load in and I paid for the yearly subscription so now I’m paying for nothing

    Needed somewhere for recipes. I don’t wanna come off as stingy or whatever anyone will think I am for this, but I save recipes on TikTok and Instagram all the time so when I saw an ad on Instagram I thought why not it’ll help out. Yet they fail to tell you in the ad’s that you have to pay in order to use this app. You can download it for free then you get a free trial but once that trial is over you have to pay to continue to use the app. I wouldn’t he do made if I was TOLD in the AD beforehand that I had to pay. I just think it’s ridiculous that I had to fully download the app and see that I’m getting a free trial and having to pay for the app afterwards. Not the bet marketing skills for an app.

    AI. Main feature I got it for does not work well. Scan instagram video and tons of wording is off and ingredient measurements (even tho all ingredients are in the video description.) currently do not recommend buying premium for this.

    Sick of subscriptions. I’m really tired of every mildly useful app requiring a subscription. It makes you go through this whole quiz and nonsense before saying “we’ll let you try it for free” without even SAYING what the price is until after you’ve pressed the free trial button? Seemed like a useful app but I probably won’t be using it due to my distaste for subscriptions and sneaky ways to get you to pay for them.

    Can’t stash on iOS. I loved this app on my Android phone but stashing recipes doesn’t work from Chrome on iOS. And when I went into the App to send feedback, the feedback form wouldn’t work either. I know iOS makes things harder on devs but please go the extra mile to prevent these usability issues.

    Issues. The app keeps crashing. It’s not easy to find someone to communicate with in order to fix it. Pretty disappointing so far. I would give it another review if someone would contact me to figure this out.

    Needs a little fixing. The app works well, I’m impressed. One thing needs fixing is the option dots on the upper right, when touched, it does not stay open and have to touch it several times. And selecting ‘send’, nothing happens so I cannot share.

    Misleading prices. The in app purchases section of the App Store gives you 10 different payment options including a lifetime option. The actual app pigeon holes you into 4 payment options and removes the lifetime option.

    Great but missing recipes. Had about 100-150 recipes stashed in this room a break from cooking for health reasons, came back to only 37 out of about 125 recipes, angry and can’t find the original recipe cause I got them all from instagram, some of them that aren’t there I found again, videos weren’t deleted somehow the recipe disappeared, was going to surprised my many upcoming birthday parts with tons of food most of the stuff that left are snacks and barbecue stuff which my grill is broken, unrelated. Very Sad. Edit, I luckily had most of the recipes saved to a folder within Instagram, but most of them don’t have listed ingredients or methods. My original rating was a 2 but honestly for how well the app scans and picks up on the actual words that are being said is amazing so I’m giving it a 3 as most of the good reviews are 4

    Needs iPad Version. I like the app a lot, but it badly needs an iPad-optimized version. Having to use your phone in the kitchen with messy hands is far from ideal. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

    Great- Until Bug Issues. I absolutely loved this app at first! I was able to send all of my saved recipes from Facebook and TikTok. I could even put them in separate categories and keep them organized. I didn’t have to purchase a subscription to be able to use it. Everything was fine until a couple weeks ago. My app stopped loading up any of my recipes, so I would have to log out and log back in. Now, a lot of my recipes have simply disappeared. I hope they’re not deleted forever and it’s just a bug that will fix itself as I spent hours uploading all of them. To the creators of this app, please fix these bug issues. I love this app so much, I don’t want to have to find another one!

    Awesome but not great!. First of all, I love the app, it is amazing and works for the most part like it should. However, when dashing an app from social medias, it may or may not put the correct cooking order in the order of the way it should be. So in doing that, you have to go back and check every recipe you store if it’s pulling it from social media. The copy and paste text method works wonderful that I’ve found. I use it almost on a daily basis pulling recipes that I’ve found from social media into one place where I can review them save them and use them without having to print out every recipe I find.

    Share the App?. I love the app. I’m very stingy about paying app subscriptions but this is worth it to me. The only thing that bums me out is that I can’t family-share the app with my husband without him also having to buy a subscription, so the meal planning is still on me.

    Wonderful for keeping recipes. The best app I’ve found for being able to accurately pull recipes from a variety of sources. Only two things I would like to see is a label for multiple meals a day (what’s lunch versus dinner sides for example) and a way to keep a freezer meal inventory. That would make this a perfect app.

    Like it a lot, but missing one thing. I like this app a lot. I use the recipe storage and shopping list the most. There is really only one thing I don’t like (or I can’t get information on how to do). When I add my own recipe, I cannot figure out how to add a negative amount of an ingredient. For example, I have an InstaPot Greek Yogurt recipe that I use with FairLife Whole Milk. After the yogurt is made, I drain out about 2 cups of liquid acid Whey. I can’t figure out how to adjust the recipe so the nutrition information is correct. Other than that, I LOVE it.

    Love Stashcook but... I have paid extra for premium and I am inundated with ads still, it’s frustrating! I can’t add new recipes without being attacked by ads. I would be devastated to have to abandon for a different solution. Is there some way to reduce the interruption or a necessary evil?

    Best recipe collection app I’ve found. I enjoy collecting recipes and appreciate having my wide variety of recipes available without printing them out. The app occasionally crashes or stalls when adding a recipe.
