   Ipad version. I am having little luck opening any of my recipes using the iPad version. I have verified that the iCloud backup is working, and the app version is current, along with my ios version being current. This problem has been experienced for weeks, but only on the iPad version.. my iPhone version works well. I’m one of your original customers, so I have a large number of recipes gathered under your app, and would hate to loose access to any of them.

   Too many errors. The app used to work fine. The last few months every time I try to pull up a recipe I get an error. If I continue to try to open it up it will eventually open with then 4-5 recipes open. Very frustrating when you are in a hurry.

   Can’t Open When I Need It. This app used to work great years ago. Now I can’t seem to get it to open recipes. I just keep getting error messages and nothing happens. I check my WiFi and everything looks good. Try closing the app and reopening. Still can’t get to my recipes. Thinking about getting ride of this app all together

   Love this app. Have been using it for years. The only reason it’s not a 5 star rating is that it takes a really long time to load/ open the recipes. Sometimes the recipes completely time out when opening. Edit: I cannot connect to customer support because of a disclaimer in Spanish that I cannot translate to read the terms.

   Spyware app. The privacy info states that the app tracks you across other apps and websites. I find this practice to be particularly awful when it’s a paid app that’s spying on you to sell/share your info with other companies. I contacted the company 2 or 3 times with questions regarding privacy, and was ignored. Edit: You said to contact you. I have contacted you - days prior to your response to this review…and so far, you have ignored me.

   Recipes not found. I’ve used this app for years and went to pull up a recipe today and got an message that the recipe could not be found. I tried several other recipes and got the same message. Seems like I’ve lost all recipes and some I didn’t have saved anywhere else. Disappointed and frustrated. iCloud backup is on.

   Do not recommend. I have used this app for several years without issue and was finally consolidating recipes from a different app. Then today, apparently 5 days after an update was installed, I can no longer save recipes unless I sign up for a subscription. It looks like I can still view and delete my old recipes and have some edit capability. A warning would have been nice. This may have been legal due to the company’s T&C but it is still dirty. What next, start upping the subscription on a regular basis? Pay extra or be bombarded with ads? No thank you, I will look for another solution including going back to print if I have to.

   Sudden change in terms of use and forced payment. I have used this app for years and it was great. I made a one time payment a long time ago and no additional payments were required since then. Suddenly, this week the app has a pro version and I can no longer add new recipes without paying. There have also been issues with iCloud syncing and app performance within the past couple months. I will be changing apps for my recipe collection. Shady and disappointing business practice.

    Free for years now suddenly a subscription!. I’ve used the Recipe Gallery app every day for years and it’s been one of my favorite tools for saving and organizing recipes. After the latest update, I can still see all of my existing recipes, but I can’t add any new ones unless I subscribe. That essentially turns a long-time free app into a subscription service overnight. I completely understand that developers need to make money. But when an app has been free for years, it would be much fairer to grandfather in existing users and apply the subscription model to new downloads going forward. Long-time users helped build the app’s popularity and supported it for years. Suddenly restricting the main function of the app for those same users feels disappointing and unnecessary. This used to be an easy recommendation for friends and family. I just wish the transition had been handled more fairly for the people who have been using it all along.

    Now its a fee to use- I bought this already. I've used this app for 5+ years and paid for it back when I downloaded it. I love the ability to save recipes from the internet. I have 5 years of recipes! Now in order to add to it I have to pay 2.99 a month! For an app that I already paid for!

    Used to work; now I can’t retrieve recipes. I used to be able to use this so well, but now it’s not pulling up any recipes stores in iCloud. Many of my older recipes I’ve had for years are not accessible through the app now.

    What are you doing to this wonderful app?. This used to be the best app for recipes available. But since you updated to the new and boring mono color icon performance has gone to “h”. It is taking forever to pull up saved recipes, if at all. Performance has slowed to a crawl and what is with the “subscription”. For all I know once I purchased this years ago it was mine and it worked perfectly. Don’t know what you are up to but I can no longer recommend this as a useful or quality app.

    Recipes no longer consistently open. I used to love this app. Then there became an issue that you couldn’t send recipes to it from Google Chrome. Now I am finding that many of my saved recipes will no longer open from the app. When I tried to get app support, it goes to a page for a different product.

    New icon. This new icon for recipe gallery is terrible. I cannot add recipes from text messages.

    Ugh!. I used to love this app. I’ve used it daily for years. However, recently it is hard to open recipes. When I click on a recipe, it has a loading symbol for a while and then it usually gives me an error message. I have to close out the app completely and then try again. Sometimes I have to do that a couple of times before the recipe will open. It’s frustrating!

    Update:. I've lowered my rating to three stars because of one change to the app. It now opens to a useless title page. This prevents me from directly importing recipes from another site. Instead, I have to save the recipes as a .pdf and then take the extra step of importing the .pdf from my Files app on my iPhone. I've emailed the developers twice and no response. I’ve been remiss for not writing a review several years ago. I absolutely LOVE this app. I use it every day for menu planning, shopping and, of course, cooking. I love having all my recipes at my fingertips when I’m at the grocery store; makes meal planning and shopping so easy! In addition, the developers have been responsive about adding new functionality and software fixing bugs. My favorite upgrade, made several years ago, allows me to print a recipe from a website and have it automatically imported into a new recipe in the app. And the resulting recipe retains the link to the original web page, so I can refer back to the author’s notes, tips, and user reviews. Brilliant! Another feature I use often is the .pdf share feature. When friends ask me to share recipes, it is so easy to do it from my phone. Thank you a thousand times to the developers. Other than social media, Recipe Gallery is my most used app. And, hands down, it is the moste useful.

    Recipe gallery. I’ve had this on my iPad for years. It is my go-to source of recipes. No more cookbooks, just my 1000+ recipes in the gallery. Wish it were available on my PC laptop. I have over 1300 recipes in my gallery. Lately, when I want to open a recipe, it scrolls and scrolls and never opens. It’s very frustrating to know the recipe is there but cannot be opened. I’m considering looking for another recipe app.

    Disappointed in new subscription model. Like others here, I have used the app for years and loved it. Opened it this morning to discover I now have to pay a subscription fee. I have no problem buying an app I use, but I balk at the idea of now having an annual subscription fee instead of a one-time purchase. Unfortunately, I have no choice since I have successfully stored hundreds of recipes in the app. Will start the tedious process of moving my recipes to something that lives locally on my system.

    Love It!. I really love this app. It's so quick and easy to save recipes you find on the web, but it also has a feature where you can take a photo of a recipe you find in a book or magazine, and it saves those in your collection also. Best recipe organizer of all.
