This is not a tracker. I thought I was buying a tracker, where I could input what I am eating with guidance to eat the paleo way. Instead it’s just a bunch of recipes predetermined for you unless you want to pay AGAIN! I’m disappointed for sure.

No longer works on iOS12. No longer works on iOS12

Paid for the app... pay for more?. The app has some decent looking stuff on it. Far from paleo as it uses dairy fairly regularly, but ah well. The app shows recipes that aren't obtainable without paying additional money for it. After purchasing the app... you must purchase MORE app. One star for a truly rude move.

Expect an Upsell. Extremely frustrating app! As you select recipes, a message comes up telling you that you'll have to spend additional money to access the recipe. I'll find it online for free thank you very little.

A real let down. I could seriously find better recipes on Pinterest - and almost every recipe that I click on says I need to upgrade to view - I feel like I've been ripped off - save your money and go to Pinterest

Frustrating as H***. I was very excited to get the CavemanFeast app. However when I made my meal plan and looked at the shopping list it was a mess. How in the world do I buy 1/8 of an egg, 2.4 eggs and then have 29 more eggs to buy? And that's just one example. I bought the app thinking that it was intuitive and would combine all like ingredients into easy to buy amounts. I'm very disappointed and frustrated trying to convert all this while I shop.

More Paleo hype and way over priced. So I listened to a friend's hype about this product and failed to read the reviews. 3 dollars for the app is fair, but the recipe offerings are pretty small. Then to unlock more recipes costs over half the original price for the app and you get a handful of additional recipes in only one category. The bonus content section did not work by telling me that both of the very valid emails I tried were in an invalid format. Another pretty app that draws you in with limited offerings and attempts to bleed you through in app purchases.

A big rip off. Limited number of recipes. And then the nerve to ask for additional money to unlock additional recipes. What a scam! I definitely do not recommend this app and wish I could get my money back.

Disappointed. The app doesn't list the macros. I need to track how much protein, fat, and carbs are in my diet. Waste of money.

Looks are deceiving. Don't buy. Reasons why: No insightful information Limited okay recipes Asks for money to continue Save your $2.99 for an app that isn't all glitz with nothing to back it up.

Pay again after I've already paid for the app. Come on! What kind of joke is that. Either your going to sell the app for $2.99or not. Don't tell me to pay another $1.99 for a single recipe when I can search the web for any recipe I want.

No Nutrition facts!. Not one recipe has the carb count. Some people need to follow a pale ketogenic diet for conditions such as migraines. I would like a refund!

Ripoff#2. Totally too expensive for just a few recipes. I have found many many on free websites that are much more interesting. Very very disappointed!

*Ripoff* don't buy it. The app is well made and it's a shame I have to write this but I don't want others making the same mistake I did. This app costs $2.99 (not cheap for a cooking app you can't even try before you buy) but then has the gall to ask for another $1.99 when you want to see a lot of the recipes once inside the app! It's like buying a cooking book, opening up to a bunch of blank pages that ask you to send more money in to get the rest of the book! If they wanted to be transparent about this, they could keep the app free and sell "recipe packs" once inside, in a clear and transparent way. Instead they've decided to bait and switch their customers. Horrible product decision, stay well away. Update: just double checked, no mention of this in their description.

They come back wanting more. I just bought the app, looked at the recipes and they do look good. That said when I purchased the app I didn't expect to have to pay to unlock more recipes. To me they should've all come with the app. For that reason I rate this a 1.

App will NOT OPEN. I purchased app and have not been able to get it to open. I've tried on several days to open the app and it will not open. Please help!

Pay for more?. This app is already 1.99, after you get through a few recipes, they will ask you to pay another 1.99 for more. Ridiculous.

Server settings. It would be nice to be able to adjust the servings for more or less people.

Missing 3 stars for lack of checklist. Great solid app, easy to follow recipes, for the most part. However when it comes to recipes like splatchcock chicken, an extra description would be very helpful on this technique. Try to keep your users within the app as much as possible. A built in checklist that you could port or export grocery lists would have made this a must-have app. Maybe next update?

Fake Reviews, Bad Recipes. Don't fall for the dishonest and over-hyped promotion of this rip-off app. Every review has the same date. Every review is 5 stars. Really? Right. Recipes are extremely disappointing and largely unappealing. If you're looking for creative, tested, inspired, and delicious Paleo recipes, get Joulwan's "Well Fed" cookbook. Nom Nom Paleo's website and app are also quite good. This one is full of too many heavy-handed misfires reminiscent of when my kids were teenagers experimenting in the kitchen. Very little seafood, tons of "goodies" using honey and maple syrup, and too much emphasis on meat and more meat as the centerpiece. Caveman Feast takes the misconstrued paleo stereotype to new distortions, and fails to hone in on the healthiest aspects of its core principles. There are a few interesting ideas hidden among some very strange ones, but there are better and healthier resources elsewhere.

More??. I really expected more recipes from a recipe app. Especially one you pay for. Seems like some are doubled up- very cheese. Like meat w/sauce listed then under just sauces listed again- I understand the thought behind that but come on-NEEDS WAY FOR RECIPES ESPECIALLY FOR $2.99 I can get a paleo cookbook for that at 1/2 price books. Recipes are good high quality just highly disappointed on quantity for a recipe app. If I could get it back is delete the app.

Amazing ?. There is nothing amazing about this app, you should pay me to use it. 5 seafood recipes? It's mainly sides n sweets recipes. Not worth the money, use an online search for better ideas.

Didn't worth it. Disappointing

Rip off. So I paid a one time fee for the app before downloading it. Cool Then the app tells me in order to unlock the rest of the recipes I have to pay again Ehh, But I did it NOW the app is telling me I have to pay a monthly fee to use the meal planning feature 3rd strike Whoever said this app “Nickle and dimes” you was 100% correct Not worth it, the recipes are average too (in my opinion) But to be fair I do like the layout of the app, and how intuitive and convenient the shopping feature list is

Mad. I purchased this app thinking I was getting all the meals every time I click on a good one keep saying 2.99 to get 60 more when I paid 5.99 I thought I would get them all not happy misleading I could have bought the book instead if I had known

Needs better editing of recipes. I just purchased the app a day ago and have looked through the recipes. I picked out a few I might like. The app is nice looking and the recipes seem doable. I want to buy more recipes. However, more time needs to be put into the writing of the recipes. Example: Lime Cilantro Slaw. Calls for 2 limes. Doesn't say what to do with them. I assume juice them, but it doesn't say. Maybe it's purée, maybe sliced. The onion says slice, the jalapeño says slice. It just says 2 limes. I may buy more recipes when the recipes are thorough. I expect better for $2.99.

Want more recipes? Pay more!. I don't recommend the app sorry! I bought it because i wanted the convenience of recipes on my phone but i was disappointed to see they ask to pay more to get more recipes.

It could be great....but needs work. The recipes are awesome I'll give them that, but without the macro profiles of the food it's a waste.

No worth the price. Pros: recipes are tasty and really nice! Cons: for the price of the app AND the price of the extras, I'd expect at least some extra work on their side, including nutritional and calories value would be a good start. Would be so much better to be able to tap for next step rather than having to swipe. It's missing lots of recipes and basic ingredients such as potatoes.

new2015. Great recipes, however very disappointed that the nutritional information is not provided for each dish. Think that is a big let down for an app you have to pay for.
