   BEWARE OF THIS APP. UPDATE- AFTER CANCELLING RENEWAL OPTION WHISK COMPLETELY CUT ME OFF FROM USE FOR MY CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION. I’ve had this app for a year and get a fail at least 50% of the time using both Facebook and Instagram recipe links. I cancelled my subscription which expires in July 2026 and Whisk cut me off 2 months early.

   All data wiped w/latest update. I loved this app and had been using it for several months. Was on the premium subscription and was extremely happy. Until the latest update and all my data was wiped. I thought I had the wrong login so I tried another one and still came up with “start by saving your first recipe”. I reached out to support via email and no response. Extremely disappointed

   It keeps creating the same recipe, and it’s the wrong one. See title. I uploaded five samples, and it generated the same Al Pastor taco recipe five times

   doesn’t work. I have really tried to like this app but it has way too many issues for REQUIRING a subscription. I tried many different recipes from different platforms and no matter what the “recipes” that were created from the video/websites were all so wrong. I had to spend time just fixing the mistakes. So many competitors to choose from instead. I suggest making it so you do not have to have a subscription, and offer a free base app! Will be deleting after requesting a refund.

   Doesn’t work and not free. Jus downloaded it and got stuck behind a paywall to sign up for an annual or monthly subscription. No way to skip or opt out for the free version. I ended up doing the free trial. I tried an Instagram and TikTok link and nothing loaded past I would say 95%. Then when I closed out of the app and tried to open it again it had logged me out. I tried to sign back in and select restore purchases but it said it had no record of my purchase when I had just signed up for the free trial. I selected the annual option again and then I got a message from Apple saying I was already in a trial and it let me back in. But I was still unable to link any social media links to it. It just wouldn’t fully load after several minutes. I cancelled the trail and I’m deleting this useless app.

   usuable and buggy.. ridiculous that they immediately ask you to sign up for a paid plan when the app is completely unusable. when you try to add a recipe, the add button gets blocked by the iOS keyboard after you input into the text or link field. so you cannot press "add recipe" after you put in the information 🤡🤡🤡🤡

   Paid but doesn’t work. I paid for this app as there was no free option and then it did not work. I tried 4 instagram recipes and all failed. There was a lot of bugs with the app.

    Never able to create account. Have no idea if app works or not. Tried to set up account using Apple ID and could never get it to work. Didn’t have any issues with other apps.

    Could be a fake app. Since Samsung changed the name, this company seems to be taking advantage of that. Once you create your account and password, it’s not possible to change it. Beware

    Doesn’t Work. I downloaded the app and tried to save a recipe from instagram and it didn’t work. It seems like you also have only two free recipes and then you have to pay.

    Free version is useless. I understand needing to have a price in order to fund the app, but there are so many other issues with this app that’s not worth having it in the first place. I contacted customer support months ago and never heard back. They clearly didn’t care about my concern, which was so minor too. The limit of two recipes for the free version makes there be no reason for it in the first place. Yes I get to try app out, but I used my first recipe just to figure out how the app works and that will never come back now. It may be easy to use, but limiting us so heavily doesn’t make people want to really give the app a try. There are plenty of other apps that are free that provide these same features, I highly don’t recommend this app.

    Can’t add recipes. There is no way to add recipes because the button is hidden by the keyboard and there is no way to get to it. So incredibly frustrating!

    It’s not working. Been using it a while and previously it’s a hit or miss whether the recipe actually saves which is okay since 20% of the time I have to do it twice. Currently none of my recipes save and I tried deleting and reinstalling without any luck. Annoying because I reverted back to saving recipes on notes. If you guys are charging a subscription, you should make sure it works.

    Can never upload anything. This is a paid app and it absolutely never works. It doesn’t upload the videos and you can’t even change the pictures at times. It just constantly does not work!

    Issues with creating recipes. I really like the app but the recipe creation is very frustrating. It takes numerous attempts to actually get it to create. I have the same experience whether using links, copy and paste, or even typing it in manually. Because of this I will likely start looking for an alternative app.

    Crashing and Inaccuracies. The app won’t keep me logged in long enough to let me use my recipes! It keeps having me log in over and over and I can’t use it anymore. I was really excited about this app and I was going to do the 1 year subscription, but I’m glad I didn’t. I noticed the recipe saved by the app isn’t accurate to the original recipe I put in… it will leave out ingredients or even substitute ingredients to something else. I had a recipe that had an optional glaze made from butter and cinnamon and the app replaced it with milk and powdered sugar.

    Too expensive. Only gives you 3 free recipes then you have a monthly fee. Otherwise app is pretty perfect. I’d pay a one time fee but not monthly

    The free version only allows 2recipes. I am so sick of the monthly subscription model. If you download this app and do not want to pay every month or annually, you can only store three recipes. It makes it completely useless. I understand developers need to make money and while I don’t enjoy ads, I do put up with them for apps that I don’t pay for. This app doesn’t even give you that option. It’s very disappointing because I love the design and the concept behind this app, but I am not willing to add another subscription to my monthly budget. Why can’t we buy a lifetime subscription? I’m updating to add a star because the developers team is responsive to reviews. And they didn’t make the app economy the way it is. I still believe it would be better to offer a lifetime membership option, rather than only a subscription option.

    Doesn’t work. I tried importing the link from 2 different Facebook cooking videos, both popped up halfway through the “Download” and said unable. This was of course the free version. Might be their way of making you upgrade for the app to even work. Also no option for manually adding your own.

    Free trial keeps popping up. I like the application, but every time when I open it the screen for the free trial keeps popping up. Its very annoying! Also I couldn’t save YouTube videos recipe

    Needs fixes. I love the idea of it. I was doing the free trial and ready to pay the subscription but I could not get one recipe to upload today. I tried all day from all different locations. It makes it all the way to the end and then doesn’t finish and never appears.

    Existing app features are great but room for improvement to be even better!. I love the fact that I can automatically generate recipes from online and it imports them, my favorite feature is the automatically generated shopping list from the recipes when added. Features I would like to see in the future: -ability to add folders/categories for recipes (so I can categorize them by breakfast/lunch/dinner, or cuisine, or difficulty level, or cost, etc.) -improved ability to manually edit the recipes once generated (especially adding new ingredients) -Going in tangent with that, a more user friendly format where I can manually enter my own recipes from my head rather than having to find a similar recipe online and then tweak it. -ability to share (and view) recipes within the app from/with other users

    It’s Good, But. I love what it does. But I would love have the option to adjust for serving sizes that fit my family. One recipe has only 2 servings and one has 8. I know how to do the math but it would be nice for it to adjust for me. Also for you to put it into categories such as meat type or diet type. Y’all already have combining shopping list for all recipes needed in progress so I’m looking forward to that. I’m excited to see how y’all make this app better than it already is.

    Did not know lol. I did not know you had to take the recipes from social media and I thought the recipes just came with the app as of right now I don’t have any social media platforms so this app does not really work out for me seems it’d be a good app though so four stars

    Loving it so far!. This app is just what I was looking for! Can’t wait to add all my recipes I’ve liked. Hopefully in the future there will be an option to make categories or folders of different cuisines. I also really wish I could add the url from Facebook reels and a way to convert the measurements from say gram to ounce

    Love it but I have recommendations. I I love that this app seamlessly takes recipes from videos on social media. It gives you a step-by-step breakdown as well as an ingredient list with checkbox. If I could make any recommendations, it would be to implement a folders option or at least a way to search for a recipe. I am adding recipes left and right and I’m worried it’s going to be difficult to find what I want when I go back. I also can’t figure out how to get the videos to directly transferred to the app with a share option. I have to copy and paste the link. Not sure if this is a user error or the app does not support this feature.
