Do not like this version 2. I hate this new version. It will not save as a usable version to upload to job application pages. I can view it in Resume Star 2, I can edit it, I can email it, just can’t upload it. What gives?

Missing a key component ability. Won’t allow me to send resume to my email This app is a real waste of time. It’s not able to even let you upload your resume from the previous app “resume star”. I wouldn’t waste my time with it unless they’ve modified it and fixed issues.

Original Resume Star worked great BEFORE iOS11. So the original Resume Star worked GREAT before the iOS 11 update. Now iOS 11 users are directed to download Resume Star 2. Resume Star 2 does nothing, it literally just directs you to iCloud Files. I try to select the resume that I created on the original Resume Star to upload to Resume Star 2 and it does NOTHING. Please fix this soon. Thank you

Disappointing. Very difficult to navigate around this app to enable completion of a CV. It would be helpful to have a template to clearly visible and editable in addition to the numerous samples.

suicidal after trying to get it ro send my cv. i am trying really hard not to kill myself as a direct result of using Resume Star 2. Up to the point of saving my cv as a pdf, it was indeed a great app. After that i regretted being born, went in to a meltdown, slept for 6 hours in order to not cut my own throat and when i woke up it still wouldn’t work. I just wanted an app that would send the pdf to any email address. My new Iphone i think wasn’t synced to my email, so i had to try to add another. An hour later, i got my outlook account linked. No way of just saving the pdf as a stand alone pdf in your phones files. I just wanted a pdf that i could attach to an email, but forget it. Every time i tried, a problem arose to stop me. After an entire day of suicidal stress, i got my email set up to another account. Did it then send. It pretended it did, with a nice whoosh sound, but no email arrived, to several addresses. I am thinking of hanging myself maybe in a hotel next week, but this app has definitely helped me decide that life is engineered to block anything i try, which for any other human being, is a simple quick task. Thanks guys, you made a cv uploader that just can’t di a simple thing, have a button to save to files or a button which let you email it and actually send something. Death awaits.

Automatically uploads to the cloud. Very unreliable when the cloud service is down. I’d prefer to keep my copies on my phone and have the OPTION to upload to the cloud. Prevented me from submitting an updated resume, breaks whole reason to rely on the app

DropBox Support Intermittent. Have been using this app for about a year and its been very good to me. All of a sudden now, the DropBox access is not working. You can see the documents, but they are all greyed out.

Nice but unusable. I really appreciate that the app is truly free, but... The app says that the resumes are formatted as PDF’s, but job sites will never accept the app. They always say “invalid format”. Then I can’t send the resume to my email to forward to anyone. I usually just look at what I wrote in the resume app, then hand copy it to submit to employers. I can kind of do that without the app. But thanks anyway!

Help. I’ve been trying to find a way to edit a resume once I create it instead of starting a whole new one every time I want to update it. Any suggestions ? 4 stars because that’s my only flaw but it’s a big one to say the least

Don’t be Discouraged by the One Star Reviews!. Let me first explain that anyone who gave a one star review only gave it because of technical glitches, not because something was wrong with the formatting of the app. I’m sorry if those FEW people had glitches, but it’s certainly no reason to put a negative review! Especially when this app is so great! It’s straight forward, comes with a very useful guide to help you through the writing and interviewing process, and it let’s you customize your resume however you’d like - all the way down to how you’d like the order of your headings. AND it’s all free! They rely on the honor system when it comes to paying. It’s not often that we are given the chance to download a free application with no adds and everything unlocked. I hope most will continue to pay or give to the application so that it can stay free for those who really need it. I have absolutely no complaints.
