Utterly unreliable. That app completely unreliable. On a regular basis is does not track my bike ride accurately. Today it was off by nearly a mile on an 8 mile ride. It shows my cutting through peoples yards, riding through houses, cutting corners, etc. It’s a joke. It accurate more often than not, but the rate of inaccuracy is completely unacceptable.

IMMEDIATELY CHARGED FOR FREE TRAIL. I was immediately charged for the one year trial and not at $39.99 or 3.99 but at 9.99 the monthly rate. I clearly had the yearly free trail box highlighted, and it was witnessed by my friend who recommended the app. $39.99 is a great price for a year, after a week of trying it and I liked it I would’ve gladly paid that. But, they charged me for the most expensive rate out the gate. Can't trust the app now.

Where are the MAPS!!!. I just want an app to plan routes easily. There is NO place/button where you can explore existing routes or make your own. I don’t care about the other workout features. And why the first thing you see in the app is a bunch of strangers talking about random things. The top on on my feed was some photo of a piano keyboard. Canceling free trial immediately.

Something wrong - ask for e-mail!. I tried to registered via Sign with Apple to hide e-mail, but app tells me - you have to enter valid email later, also birth date, first name, last name and gender! So what’s the point of Sign with Apple? This this violation of the App Store developer’s guidelines. Can’t login or register via Apple account, still have to enter email! Bad quality of supporting Apple technologies

Would make more sense to let people know there isn’t a free version instead of having them sign up and then find out just to delete and go find another app.

Bad location for pause and resume buttons. Time for me to find a new biking app. I am constantly accidentally hitting the pause button when trying to change to a different screen. The button is too close to the bottom of the screen. If are riding with a phone holder , you will accidentally hit the pause button when you swipe up and you won’t Even realize it. It’s Constantly screwing up my ride recordings. The buttons need to be more in the middle of the screen so this doesn’t happen.

The bugs are killing me. I started a run, but there as an error. So I canceled it and tried to delete it, but it won’t clear so I can do the run. Now I’m not able to do my scheduled workout because of stupid errors. This thing is always full of bugs on the paid version.

Don’t bother. If you have 12 hours to convince this app that yes, that is the password I set, and it is not wrong, then by all means keep the app. My choice was to delete the app and move on with my day. Much better apps available. Dealing with this app is like beating your head against the wall. They need a negative number scale to rate it. One star is five stars too many.

Gulf of What?. It says a lot about any organization that just changes a huge body of water’s name because 1 person decided to change it. What if he renames the Atlantic Ocean after his first wife and the Pacific after his second? Are you going to put Ivanna Ocean on your app? I don’t abide by this total nonsense. Anyone who abides will have to accept Marla Ocean. Maybe the Mississippi after that? All the Great Lakes?

Stupid app won’t take my Apple ID. Map my ride used to have a free version. This one by Outside will not take my saved Apple ID even though Apple says it was done. Tried several times. Zero stars! Get it together developers

Voice Feedback time is messed up. Repeated trouble tickets over the years about this apparent programming error have resulted in acknowledgment but no correction. This failure reflects deficiencies in their process and operations and leaves one wondering what other problems & inaccuracies have been neglected to reduce costs. Specifically, if iPhone is set to use a 24-hour clock, Voice Feedback will not recite the hour of the day between 00:01 and 09:59. Only the minutes are recited. They have had years to put this on their docket but have failed miserably. So once per mile, I hear the result, and think how fortunate I am to be able to pay them to ignore me. If only I could get the spammers on that plan!

Won’t open. I had this app some years ago and deleted because it quit working. I thought I’d take snacks very on it again. I downloaded it and it recognized my user name so I clicked “Forgot password”. Sent me a reset button. I e tried three times now and it just spins and spins. I can’t even reset my password to login. Now watch…the developer’s bot will see my one star and send a response about being sorry and please contact support to open a ticket yada yada. This way, they make you do all the work to fix a problem they could solve by using their own app once.

Splits have been coming in incorrectly for about four months now. Usually, I do 5 mile splits, and I’m at approximately 17 mph for each split. For the past 4 or 5 months, i’ve been riding 30 miles on average, which is six splits. All the sudden, my third split is always showing that I’m going like 8 mph. This happens on every ride, and it’s really messing up my stats. I’ve been a loyal map my ride person for a long, long time, but if they can’t get this fixed, like everybody else, I’m gonna move to Strava. If they fix it, I’ll adjust my review appropriately.
