The GPS is not precise.. The GPS is not precise. Done multiple activities in the same route cycling or running and distance is way to many miles when I run o to little when ride the bicycle an it show like I took a shortcut in the map.

  2. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

GPS Topical mapping dosn’t. The geo earth mapping no longer works, despite taking your money the support provided is not helpful. I will be done with it when it expires

  3. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Been using it for 7 years and still loving it.. As a data junkie, Runmeter let’s me analyze individual runs as well as trends over time. It’s nice that the Watch app has been untethered from the iPhone but since I don’t have a Apple Watch with a cell connection, I always take my phone with me anyways so my wife can track where I am. Well worth the upgrade cost to the pro version.

  4. ★★★★ads disrupt the experience

Use a different app 👎🏼. This was a great app years ago. Now almost every run it stops tracking my distance and pace. That should be the most reliable thing! Now the only part I can rely on is disappointment and ad’s after every input. Big fail 👋🏼

  5. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Can’t use Apple Watch stand alone. I should’ve read the reviews first. Unfortunately I don’t want to carry my phone around when I do workouts and prefer to use the Apple Watch. Will be deleting and cancelling my subscription.

  6. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Downgraded to 1 star. I still love this app on the iPhone for the customizations but hate that it’s still not stand alone on the watch. It also, for whatever reason, has a problem with consistency on connectivity with the iPhone. I have my iPhone in my arm band on my left side and the watch on my right wrist and I get the no connectivity symbol often when running. Sometimes it just stops working completely with the app. Got to get with the program on stand alone with the watch. Until then I’m switching to Runkeeper who actually has a stand alone app for the watch. Also, the notifications on the Apple Watch don’t work. It doesn’t even announce start or stop but the have them there available. Stupid. Cancelled my subscription.

  7. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Not a Standalone App. Not one person in my parallel universe wants to lug an iPhone around with them on a 10-mile run, just to make this Runmeter App work with the Apple Watch. It’s gotta be a stand-alone app in order to bring me back. Otherwise, it’s seems like a decent app.

  8. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

No longer syncs with my Apple Watch. I used to love this app. But for several months I’ve had inconsistent syncing and now no syncing with my Apple Watch. I must move on...

  9. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Does not work with watch alone!. The whole reason i bought the watch was to leave my phone at home. The here app doesn’t support this and other apps do. So I like other features here better but I never again want to run with my phone on me. Improve the watch independence and I will use this app gladly again.

  10. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Mapping Issues. Has problems with coming back along the same path. Doesn’t accurately account for the distance because of this.

  11. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

If you're looking for a watch app, look elsewhere. Nowhere in the description does this app explain that it is so severely restricted that you can't test even the most basic functions. Until you purchase the full app, you get nag screens for nearly all of the icons you touch. If you attempt to open the app on your watch, it just tells you to go to your phone. With so many fitness apps in the market, I'm not willing to spend ten bucks to find out what the issues are for each. It's too bad, this looked promising. Be honest in your description or give a real test capability!

  12. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Music during running. All of a sudden I can’t listen to music while the app is running. I hope this is a bug and not on purpose

  13. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Poor Watch Support. They have chosen not to support stand alone support for the watch despite being available for a few years now. I contacted their support and they said it was Apples fault and have no future timeline for adopting stand alone running with Apple Watch. Strangely I have now been able to switch to several other third party apps that have been able to support this so their response to me seems interesting.

  14. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Does not support stand alone watch use!!??. What a waste of a great app. I hate carrying my phone on the run. What is the purpose of having a watch app that requires you to carry the phone.

  15. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Outdated watch options. Have used all three apps for over 6 years so have enjoyed what they offer. I have never minded the yearly fee for the three apps. I figure a fee gets you continued development. That said hear we are with the Apple Watch 4 coming in a week and still no stand alone support for the watch. As phones have gotten bigger I have been wanting to leave it home. At this point if they do not announce stand alone support at least coming by December I will spend December testing other apps and move on for the first time in over 6 years.

  16. ★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data

Don’t waste your money. I got this in order to hear my stats. Unfortunately the accuracy is shocking. All the values, time, pace and distance were way off compared to my Garmin Fenix, e.g. the time was 25 min off, pace 7+min per mile off.

  17. ★★★★crashes, freezes and errors

Use to ❤️ you!. It seems with the most recent update that the GPS is not working accurately anymore.

  18. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

You need your phone with the Apple watch 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️. I bought this app, online it states using the Apple Watch app is a great, but I couldn’t find anywhere it states you need to lug the phone around too, 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

  19. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Useless Watch Support. No stand alone watch support! You must have your phone with you to run this app. App works great on phone, useless watch integration. Would like a refund since I paid for the upgrade to use with my series 3 cellular watch. As I run exclusively with only my watch, this app is useless for me.

  20. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

    It's ya boi. Trash

  21. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Intervals don’t work with Apple Watch independently. Nothing else to say. All I need is an app that has an interval timer and a run tracker! Thought this app was the answer! No Soup!!!!!

  22. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Used to love this, but no AW3 support.. I absolutely loved this app. Too many awesome, easy to use features to even list here. Been using it for years. But I bought an Apple Watch 3, and wanted to leave my phone at home. Too bad the Watch app only works if you have the phone on you! No thanks! So I will be abandoning this wonderful app after so many years. Please, please upgrade the app to use with the watch independently so I can come back!!!

  23. ★★★★crashes, freezes and errors

Flakey with iwatch. You will have to have some paitence to make it work with iwatch. There are sequence of operation issues. I had to uninstall three times before I got it to work and not crash my watch I have been using elite for over a year now. I have had my Iwatch replaced three times for various issues such as failed touch screen. If you want an accurate heart rate monitor look somewhere else. If you want something that every once in awhile tells you An accurate heart rate after pushing a bunch of buttons and resetting things for the first couple of miles , then this is your device!

  24. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Watch App That Wont Work With Out The Phone Along For The Ride.. I had high hopes for this App as I have used a version of it various times through the years. That being said I got this App and upgraded to the elite. I thought it was going to be great until I went on my first run and was dumbfounded as to why my stats would not appear on my watch. I then quickly realized that like before in the past you had to find some way to lug your phone around with you to make this App work. Needless to say I was very disappointed. What is the point of making this App for the Apple Watch if it can't work independently??? Can the developers please get on untethering this App because it has some super legit features I just don't want to carry my phone.

  25. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Lug phone on run with a gps watch?!?!. I misread the details of this app, and paid $9 to get the heart rate zone notifications, but quickly realized on my first run that even though I have an AW3 on my wrist with GPS and LTE I still have to lug my iPhone + in pocket as watch app wont work without phone.... horrible, don’t waist your money

  26. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Awful Apple Watch app. There’s really no excuse anymore for an app like this not to have a standalone Apple Watch app (ie don’t require the phone). Company says they have no near plans to make a standalone app making this as what could be a great running app for your watch extremely useless.

  27. ★★★★data, history or progress disappears

Very good app. I have used both the basic send elite versions of this app since 2013 and the app was working great until a month ago. It has gone completely bonkers. Continually losing miles or adding miles. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still absolute poor quality! I have actually changed to a new app because of the extreme glitches.

  28. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Was a great App - Tracking no good. Tracking on the map is no longer working. If fix is not deploy soon, I might have to search for another app.

  29. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Buyer Beware APP IS DEPENDENT ON IPHONE :(. What's the point, I purchased the "Elite" version of this app, but it will not work using the GPS on the Apple Watch 2. I have no desire to carry my freaking phone when I run. Guess I should have done more research, before wasting $10. How bout a refund??

  30. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

This App is Terrible. When I bought this app a couple years ago I spent a few dollars for it on the understanding that I was getting a premium ad free app. A few months later they added ads and demanded a yearly subscription to get them removed. Total bait and switch. I kept using it from time to time despite the constant ads for video games I will never buy in a million years, but now it has become buggy too, crashing mid-run. I'll take a look after an hour of running to see how far Ive gone, only to discover that it crashed long ago and stopped recording my distance. I hate this app. Hate it. I have deleted it and my phone seems cleaner and better for it.
