Doesn’t know how to tell time .. Went to bed the other night midnight thirty and woke up eight hours later . The app said I woke up after 11 hours sleep . It does stupid things like saying I went to sleep at noon and woke up a 6 pm . The hours it counts are wrong . The time I go to bed are wrong . Buy a Fitbit .
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
Not accurate, still not accurate. I have been using this app for several years. The data on the iWatch has never. Matched the data in the iPhone. Never. And yes I have the iWatch app set to “mirror” the iPhone. Other than that I really like the app. Made some suggested (by app) changes. Numbers don't jive, terrible conflicting data. Another app that sucks money from users and is totally inaccurate.

Overloaded interface and awful smart alarm setup. The interface is incredibly overloaded and confusing. The only feature I actually wanted this app for was the smart alarm, but it’s a nightmare to configure. You have to activate it directly on the watch every time, which is terribly inconvenient. On top of that, you can’t even set up a simple alarm schedule. If there is somehow a way to do it, the app makes it completely unintuitive and impossible to figure out. I downloaded it, got frustrated, and will never use it again.

GARBAGE. Man I paid for this thinking it would be pretty good, Absolutely Terrible app!! It is NEVER even close to being correct man! You could sleep 20 hours and this thing will register it as 30 min lol, garbage! Don’t waste you time!

SCAM APP DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This app is insidious. Charged even though I never signed up. NO WAY TO CANCLE IN APP. Pure evil stay away
- ★★★★★no way to manually correct a sleep record
I used to love this app. I used to love this app and had been using it for years. Now it drives me crazy. It says I’m sleeping several times a day when I’m not. If I’m watching tv, I’m apparently asleep. If I’m in bed reading, It says im asleep. If I’m still for more than 15 minutes, it says im asleep. The app has gotten so complicated now that I don’t understand any of it anymore. It used to be so simple and easy to use. I’ve tried calibrating or just going in and deleting the wrong sleep records and it’s like trying to read a manual in Astro physics. I really hate this app now.

Previously great turned bad. This app used to be amazing but ever since iOS has had multiple major updates, the developers have neglected to improve this app. Now it glitches so much u have to refresh it every time to get updated data. Even the notifications are very inconsistent. At one point, it even seamlessly transitioned to other apps like Heartwatch from this app. Now i have to manually open heartwatch to get it to open. I’m going to negatively. Don’t get me started on AutoWake. I will make another negative review for that too

Unreliable Sleep/Wake times. I’ve noticed recently that this app will incorrectly log inactivity as sleep time. I’ve been using the lights out feature previously, but deleted and reinstalled the app and ran through setup again but the issue persisted. The app has a good design and is well thought out but fails to track sleep and wake times correctly.

So complicated. I cannot understand how to use this app! It’s so frustrating.
- ★★★★★privacy and excessive permissions
Awful setup. It continues to say after every attempt and restarting multiple times it still says the HeartRate data are not being captured or AutoSleep does not have Reed permission. Every attempt to remedy has not worked. Probably will be deleting and asking for my money back from APPLE!!
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
Update to iOS 26.4 changed function. I have used and loved this app for years, but after updating my watch to 26.4, it doesn’t track my sleep correctly. My typical 7.5 hour sleep is being tracked as just over 4. No calibration option improves it. It seems AutoSleep needs a redesign for the new os.

Having issues with apnea results displaying timely. Update - Still waiting on the developer to respond to this question! Why does the apnea results take so long to populate? I’ve had to wait as long as 24 hours to see the previous night’s reading. Bought this app specifically to track my sleep apnea. It looks like it takes an hour or so before that info is populated after the previous night’s sleep, so just be aware of that. Be sure to set up a “Sleep” Focus if you’re using an iPhone (sorry, no clue what the Android equivalent is). I particularly like that this is a “one and done” purchase - no yearly subscription BS.

Poor App. This app doesn’t do what it’s advertised to do. It’s a very poorly designed app. I highly DO NOT recommend it!

Poor experience. This app looks like it hasn’t been updated since 2015.

Didn’t realise app was $9. When I pressed the get button I expected it to be free but I accidentally just spent $9 on this app that I’ll probably never use

App didn’t work. This app didn’t measure the correct information. I didn’t like the idea of having to pay upfront either. Most apps will let you do a trial first. If I had a trial with this product I would never have considered purchasing because I do not like this app.

Overly Complicated and Missing Simplest Feature. After going through your needlessly unexplained tutorials and help portals, I realized you just don’t have this feature. If you forget to wear your watch one night you’re screwed. I can’t manually add anything even on their “Day/Edit” they recommended when clicking Help. It just made the app crash multiple times. So now it says I’m in serious sleep debt and I can’t change it. Deleting the app and switching to something else. If you want an easy app that spent feel like rocket science at the smallest human error, don’t buy this

Not as accurate as it used to be. I’ve been using this for a few hours and it’s not as accurate as it used to be.
- ★★★★★glaring measurement errors destroy trust
Something broke. On the last update, deep sleep has been zero since then. The Apple app reports 1 hr.. auto sleep zero.
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
Missing feature. Amazing app but needs to be able to wake you after 7-8 hours of good sleep. It just needs to check your sleep after 7 hours. It doesn’t need to check every 5 minutes thanks

Horrible update experiences. I don’t care about your update I want to use the app. don’t shove it down my throat with a full screen modal i can’t just dismiss but instead have to actually read and interact with. I’m here to quick check stuff. I could care less about your snoring features or theme settings.

Confusing and cluttered. The UX/UI is just clunky and overly convoluted. I don’t recommend spending money on this.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Spotty accuracy. App doesn’t report naps or accuracy when it detects any sleep at all! Often times, it will list your watch as “not worn” when in fact, it never leaves your wrist! This results in large blocks of missing sleep data. The UI is clunky and technical and not very intuitive. And should you make the mistake of trying to reach out to customer support, you get redirected to a page full of stacks of links to other pages to answer basic questions with tons of reading and stacked links that would require a second job just to decipher through all the useless links and pages of reading. Bottom line: The app is not user friendly (neither is the rude, condescending “customer support”), and not accurate! And if you ask for help, you receive a homework assignment to sort through pages of text and hyperlinks to chase a simple answer that a human should just be available to respond to! This is a paid app…..I expect better!

AutoSleep: Watch Sleep Tracker Severely Inaccurate. Poor algorithm- poor results. When everything is getting good results, Readiness, Fuel Rating, and Prior Day Stress, are so inaccurate. When 4 hours of sleep is had, those indicators are showing what should be the results of a great night’s sleep. I hope we’re not paying for this app. 😡
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
Ambient sound stopped working. Upgraded to an Apple Watch Ultra 3 and all of a sudden the ambient sound detection stopped working, and all troubleshooting steps were followed. No reason for it to not work. Very frustrating

Not good for overnight workers. Doesn’t have overnight hour options for those who don’t have normal sleep schedules
- ★★★★★glaring measurement errors destroy trust
What’s happened to this app?. In the last two months I am no longer able to trust anything this app tells me. I used to be able to compare the nightly data to the apple sleep app but the results are now so widely divergent that I only laugh at the data that this app provides. Last night it says I got over 4 hours of deep sleep, as compared to 19 minutes using the other app, and did not record the 2.5 hours of restless awakeness I experienced from 2-4:30. What gives?
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
Don’t recommend. This app doesn’t give an accurate picture of your sleep, but I ignored that at first because it looks nice. Then it suddenly stopped working completely. Customer service was no help and surprisingly rude. They claimed the app doesn’t work with “older watches,” which is ridiculous — my watch and phone are both recent models. A complete waste of money.
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
What happened. This app used to be the most accurate app I’ve ever had. But it’s about two years where every night is a hit or miss. It records no sleep or tells me I only slept one hour or some random number. Once I got the iPhone 14 and the latest iwatch it got worse. Not dependable at all.

App is fine - Support is Rude. I used to use this app when I slept with my Apple Watch. I found the interface cluttered but the data good - after about a month of sleeping with my Apple Watch I really couldn’t stand how it felt anymore. When I emailed to see if it would work with my withings tracker (which is under your mattress) would work the support was super rude. Instead of just a “no, but this is how some people make their watches more comfortable” he called it a “phobia” and was super condescending. I’m not marking them down for not supporting other trackers - just their bad UI and outright lack of professionalism.
