   Not free. This app was advertised as free which it isn’t. So I paid for it and it didn’t help.

   Disingenuous. So I gave Loosid a try and all was going well for a while. One day I couldn’t log in. I contacted the developers about the issue and they had noted that my account was banned for using a cartoon for my profile picture. Did it not occur to them that many of the users on this app may not want to use a personal photo? People want to stay anonymous when discussing the matters that this app was designed for. Good golly! It gets worse. I wrote a review on the play store and the developer response was just a lie. He or she indicated that I was just banned from the dating section only. Thankfully I got reinstated but now I just don’t want to taint my phone with this app because I see how disingenuous the staff is. One star is more than generous for this giant L.

   Profiting from Recovery. I’ve used this for a few months and gave it a chance. It’s clear they just want to make money off recovering addicts. For one, I constantly get notifications to buy stuff in the shop. Often, those notifications appear in other areas, like matches on the dating section. I also got a free trial that would be $30/month after I forget about it. You can get more from recovery groups on regular social apps. This has no groups, pages, communities, walls, events, etc. Nothing but a singular feed curated by the staff. Also, since the dating app is so limited and lacking, the community side is 50% guys commenting on women, and 50% guys trying to sound dramatic like Bill W. It’s a proof of concept - minimally viable. Not worth $30/mo simply because it has a generic LLM attached.

   Makes you use your full name. They've disabled the option to create an account using your email. The options they offer create an account with your full name. I don't want to use my full name and I think the user should be allowed this privacy. I did initially create an account but thought better of it and deleted it. Also deleted the app.

   $29 a month? For what?. First of all, I reached out to the owner years ago and told him all of the things I’m about to tell you. Big guys too busy charging people $30 a month for a terrible app. How is it that there’s a social media that you can’t pick your username? What year is it? You can get literally everything in this app other places and the $30 price tag is such a joke. The dating app is even worse And I find that hard to believe but it’s true. The sad truth is these people are not in the recovery business. They are in the capitalism business, and if they truly cared about people, they would make the app better and make it more affordable. Make sure you leave them a review ! Especially if you hate the app as much as I do

    Fake profiles , doesn’t vet. Too many fake profiles trying to scam people. Fake Beautiful women trying to lure you in then get your phone number to scam or sell to telemarketers. Shows same profiles over and over. Probably fake too. Just use a legit free dating site like bumble that does vet. Or a paying site that’s trusted. Match.com. I also live in Los Angeles where this is plenty of women. So there’s obviously not enough that want to sign up or chose from.

    They charge you!. They charge you a ridiculous fee for an app that does really nothing other than tell you what you already know if you didn’t drink that day. Pretty scammy to me that they want to turn a profit off of your recovery. There’s plenty of state and federal programs, donor driven programs that will actually help, for free.

    More fake profiles than any other dating app.. It’s literally 98% fake profiles. They’re blatant fakes. The photos don’t even crop out information that can be used to confirm that these are not real profiles. Garbage garbage garbage.

    Negative & Unresponsive. In a disagreement one user called me a c-u-n-t and another told me to drive off a cliff and die. Yup, an addict to go ahead and off herself. When I reported this abuse there was no response. None at all. And the block feature does does not block trolls from continuing to post on your feed. It’s like the most miserable people filtered into this one app and they are ready for blood. Be cautious.

    Total garbage.. From the sobriety “fellowship” aspect of things, it’s just a forum for a bunch of whiny babies that don’t want to do the steps. From the dating aspect of things, it’s basically plenty of fish but somehow worse??

    Paywall for psycho-educational materials. The app was great up until the introduction of the paywall for information that is readily available online. It’s feels unethical for an app to trick those in recovery into paying for information they could get for free.

    Dating portion not working at all. I keep getting an “f.join is not a function” error when trying to set up a dating profile. It wouldn’t even show me other people in my area at all. Super useless immediately deleted the app

    One of the worst dating apps ever. This app is way too buggy - the customer service is terrible - and trying to navigate the “features” is tiresome - will never use this app again - and do not recommend

    clunky garbage. It’s clunky, nothing works properly and it’s really just another app trying to force you to buy a subscription. The dating part is hot garbage. You can add multiple photos, but it doesn’t put to one you set as your avatar on the top of your profile. I set that I was interested in females, but it started showing me dudes. The events are trash, showing me a bunch of women’s only events in cities that are a 4-5 hour drive. Nothing works properly, don’t waste your time.

    Buggy non responsive app. This app is a great idea in theory. Unfortunately, almost nothing in the app works. I am in a large city and only about profiles showed up over a period of a week plus. Once I received a like the red indicator popped up but won’t let me view the other profiles. Almost every other feature is non existent and if it exists (groups) no one posts. Pretty pointless in all respects. Developer should have at least released a semi working app or by this time improved it for basic functions.

    Love the idea but.... I’m in Chicago and trying to set up the app. It doesn’t allow me to put in a location. I’ve emailed support but haven’t heard back?

    Non-existent. I downloaded the Loosid App. You are required to enter a location using a GPS locator, the only problem is the location finder doesn’t work. Great idea though I was almost getting excited 😀

    Fix these bugs. I can’t set my location either. If you’re gonna have a shout out on national television you should make sure your product works first.
