  1. ★★★★day counter glitches and lost data

Not really worthwhile features. A few main complaints. The calendar is bugged right now. Dont get how an app that is essentially a calendar would have that issue but here we are. Daily motivational messages are good, but if you dont save them, there is not a database that u can look through to read some. The daily check ins, i dont think there are any charts that track over time trends. Nor can you read what you journal in the past (to my knowledge)

  2. ★★★★paywall and ads

Used to be free. i liked this app bc you could track multiple different substances at the same time. Now it charges you to even add another one. So i deleted one of them so i could add another one and you want to charge me money? for tracking sobriety. i was already tracking two, deleted one to add a different substance and now you want to charge me? for something ive already used for half a year. you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to charge sober individuals money to track their progress. Clearly don’t care about helping anyone and jsut want money. what a joke. this app is trash now. and whoever made in app purchases is a horrible person. what a terrible thing to do.

  3. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Blank screen. This app was amazing until it stopped working. Whenever I login it's just a blank screen. I've deleted and downloaded many times. This happens on my iPhone 11 and now 16. Such a bummer. Otherwise, it's great. Really helped get me to 3 years of sobriety.

  4. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Loved but now not. I started using this app on Christmas Day and I thought it was the greatest thing but three times in just over 37 days I wake up in the morning in the app doesn’t load and I login with my email tells me there’s a problem. First time I was able to get it back in a daysecond time two days and I’m on day two on the third one and even got results from a support and tells me I can just sign in with touching the Apple and it’s still errors so now I need to find another app that I can rely on

  5. ★★★★day counter glitches and lost data

App crash. App deleted my entire tracker after 70 days

  6. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Great app that I am now unable to use. Since a recent update, this app which I used to count my sobriety cannot be used due to parental restrictions on my phone as a young person in recovery, is there anything you guys can do to make it so I can’t count my days again as a 16 year old trying to get sober, thanks

  7. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Horrible customer service. I have emailed, tweeted, everything about a login issue? There is zero customer support.

  8. ★★★★day counter glitches and lost data

New version wiped my data. Garbage app avoided at all costs Response to developer: you lost my sober date you incompetent buffoon! Your incompetence cost me something incredibly important to myself, my family and my future. I had my sober date backed up in this app and this app gets backed up in the cloud. When the developers so incompetent they lose peoples data that makes it a garbage app and it makes the developer garbage human being! You have peoples lives in your hands you fool.

  9. ★★★★day counter glitches and lost data

Update Ruined this App. Doesn’t function, I can’t even enter my correct sobriety date- it switches at random. Very unfortunate.

  10. ★★★★day counter glitches and lost data

Update is awful. Keep having me reset every time it launches. Lost all my favorites for the daily messages which don’t even show up anymore. It’s too bad, it helped me get sober and relied on it for daily motivation but doesn’t look like that will be the case anymore

  11. ★★★★other

    Not that great!. .......................

  12. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Sober Tools. After downloading the app this morning, I've spent the last 3 hours trying to get past the stick man on the ladder. I never could get into the app and I just deleted it in defeat. It's too bad, it's advertisement looked real helpful as an aid to those in recovery. I downloaded a different app as a replacement to this one.

  13. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Bugged. It opens, hangs, then crashes.

  14. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Doesn't do anything. App doesn't do anything. Opens and then immediately crashes.

  15. ★★★★other

Tried to like it but can't. Honestly too much reading. And can't really track anything. Sorry. I really wanted to like it but I can't. Not what I need as a toolbox for recovery. Try recoveryBox instead. Well worth the 2 bucks.

  16. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Bad. Terribly slow and useless, unfortunately.

  17. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Sober tool. I like the content of this app however it is useless as it won't open

  18. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

STOP LOGGING ME OUT. Its enough to make me pack my sobriety in and chug beer again!!

  19. ★★★★paywall and ads

Constant hijacking of your screen- cannot delete account once created. So many ads you can’t even try this out How it got this high of a rating is suspicious It’s like downloading one giant malware package to your phone

  20. ★★★★day counter glitches and lost data

US based. Doesn’t work properly elsewhere. Main issue is that it only displays dollars saved. As I’m in the UK it asked me how much in £ i spent daily, but then reported, after 69 days without drinking, that I had saved $0.00 Also, the input box for the amount doesn’t accept fractions Finally, it claims to count days, but like all other apps, it only counts days since last drink. Am looking for an app that counts days within a time period, or units within a time period. There is nothing for moderation, only complete abstinence

  21. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Doesn't work. It's simple. It just doesn't do anything. The only thing you can do is rate yourself as Being sober for as long as you want.

  22. ★★★★day counter glitches and lost data

No way to correct errors. Terrible app. Accidentally clicked the wrong button while updating my day and it deleted my sobriety streak. No way to go back. Will delete the app and find a better one.

  23. ★★★★community, meetings and AA style messaging

App is Great, Forum not so good. I’ve had the app for a long time and enjoy reading most of it’s content. The Forum is only good if you want to be constantly bombarded with AA messages. I’ve been sober just about 5 years now and never attended even one AA meeting in that time. AA is the only way to get and stay sober.

  24. ★★★★community, meetings and AA style messaging

Disgusting. A method of pushing an ideology onto those in need disguised as a mental health tool.

  25. ★★★★day counter glitches and lost data

Widget. Widget doesn’t count days properly, and not update days, my is stuck at 3 days

  26. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Crashes. Upgraded to the paid version, no better. Try to view profile? Crash Try to go back to home page? Crash What a shame.

  27. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Useless App until fixed concept seems good. Just downloaded from app store, when I click the icon to open program it just gives me a black screen. Cannot recommend to clients if it does not work. It is a pity. Tried to report a problem but I was sent to website with no place to provide feedback. So unfortunately I have to communicate therough this review.

  28. ★★★★app freezes and crashes

Crashes on front screen - please fix, great idea. See title.

  29. ★★★★★paywall and ads

Insane monetization plan. It's clear that the developers of this app no longer care about their users. I will explain why. First, I understand that every developer needs to support themselves. Yes, i get it, you need your money! The problem is that these developers decided to monetize their app *overnight*. They did it instantly, without notification. They just pushed an update to everybody one day which permanently locked features that everybody used to have access to. locked them behind an expensive paywall. The developers knew they messed up because they quickly went back and lowered the price of the annual subscription. But here's the thing: they NEVER told users in advance about their plan to monetize. they did not grandfather in any existing users, they did not offer existing users a discount, and they never once communicated to users what their plans were. They pushed all these changes on the user and basically told us to just deal with it. users had no warning of what was going on, and no communication from the developer. Furthermore, the developer reconfigured the app so that it literally refuses to launch unless you are connected to Internet. I assume they do this so the app can display ads. Look, each person can develop their app however they choose, but it's been a while since I have seen something so actively hostile. This is if the main focus of the product was lost, and now they're focus on extracting money from their users.

  30. ★★★★★community, meetings and AA style messaging

Brings Down Ones Self. It's like most typical AA and 12-step-based programs they want you to take accountability for your mistakes but in a way that brings down your pride and esteem. I think know one should not think that's acceptable you're already beaten down you're already at your lowest point society already thinks of you as a problem why should you have to keep bringing yourself down programs like these need to rethink the way they structure things and deliver the message you were not the problem.
