  1. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Too many request 4 upgrade. Is annoying to get so MANY request to upgrade. I plan to delete the app from my phone. Just rely of the Apple app

  2. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Apple Watch Battery Drainer. Watch out! The Apple Watch complication drains the battery incredibly fast!

  3. ★★★★trial charges and refunds

Avoid. Avoid this app. There are other apps that you can get free without risking being charged. I don’t know how this happened to charge my card and when I found out a week later, I contacted them through Apple and they refused to refund the 29.99$. They claimed that there is no refund even if the subscription is accidentally clicked. You can return things bought from Walmart or Amazon within 90 days but there is no refund for these app. It is becoming a new trend and everyone should be careful to avoid all these “3 day free trial” apps because I believe they are counting that a good percentage of people will forget to cancel within that very short period. Instead of charging my account for one month , they charged for the whole year. And even when I told them that I did not subscribe the paid app, they claimed that one of my family members may have done so. I will delete the app completely from my PHONE and will not allow them make money from me by selling their advert any longer m. LET THEM ENJOY THE $29.99.

  4. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

App does not always work. App transferred to my new iPhone incorrectly. I contacted support for help, and never received an acknowledgement. This is the 2nd time I’ve contacted them. I have friends with same problems/issues. Unacceptable.

  5. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Don’t buy subscription. Complete waste of money , lies . Was hoping to get more accurate quicker update on steps like it said and it hardly reads maybe even worse than before subscription. Awful waste of money

  6. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Subscribing to know my step count is immoral. This app is unethical and predatory++. Asking me to pay to know my step count should make the devs lose sleep and income.

  7. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

    Bad. Horrible app

  8. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Bad update. Hate the new update, took away my ability to customize my Apple Watch when I am walking to be able to see what I choose

  9. ★★★★часы и телефон как источник правды

Won’t sync with Apple steps. I walked with a real pedometer clipped to my waist while charging my iPhone on my desk and I added those steps to the iPhones Health app but they do not show up on the Pedometer++ app. Just to be clear those manually added steps do show up in the Health app Steps. Also, just so you know, I do not use the Apple Watch to count steps; I only use my iPhone or physical pedometer to count steps.

  10. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Bad update. It doesn’t work on my Apple Watch anymore after the recent update!

  11. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Steps are always 1000 more than on the fitness app. I’ve been watching this closely and the steps every day are always 1,000 more on this app than they are on my ultra.

  12. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Crashes and dumps the workout. The app frequently crashes mid (wheelchair) workout. It dumps the entire workout instead of just stopping where it was. I’m a paid client (annual) and this is beyond infuriating; I’m looking for a different app, but admittedly this is one of the few that can measure wheelchair distance. But that’s useless when it CRASHES and DUMPS.

  13. ★★★★часы и телефон как источник правды

Extremely inaccurate data. I’ve had Pedometer++ on my iPhone for over 30 months now(on 3 different iPhones and 2 Apple Watches), and it’s typically off by thousands of steps each day vs. Apple’s Activity app. I wear my Apple Watch for the entirety of each day, so the Activity app represents the most accurate assessment of my activity for the day. Pedometer++ typically shows 2x the steps that I’ve actually taken. Since this app fails at its primary purpose, I cannot personally recommend Pedometer++. I’m currently using said app on an iPhone XS Max and Series 4 Apple Watch. If a future update begins counting my steps accurately, I’ll promptly update me review. Update: I decided to give this app another look to see if the accuracy has improved. In 2026, it’s still wildly inaccurate by thousands of steps each day. For example, per my Apple Watch - which is the gold standard for accuracy - I’ve been averaging just over 14,000 steps a day in May. Pedometer++ has me at 17,000-19,000 on days I actually walk 14,000. How can you develop an app for so many years and never improve the accuracy? You’re much better off using data from your Apple Watch.

  14. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Paid for it Once. I purchased this app once - a perpetual license. For life. The developer forced users to upgrade to a monthly “service” because all of the benefits SAAS offers I guess (a predictable revenue stream for the developer) What happened to my perpetual license? I guess nothing if I enjoy limited functionality and the user interface littered with ad banners. I feel like I got screwed. Too bad about the product - I liked it a lot in its original form - not as a SAAS product. I'm surprised that you are not forced to pay based on the steps taken per month. Disgraceful.

  15. ★★★★an update broke a familiar workflow

Update ruined it. Was my go to step tracker but the update to the watch app ruined it. Went from a nice sleek look to a hideous look.

  16. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Watch sync is HORRIBLE. That’s it

  17. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Does anyone provide customer service?. I emailed support probably a month ago never received a resolution or response

  18. ★★★★an update broke a familiar workflow

Update sadness. Was my go to app for many years with the new update I find myself searching for a better option they removed step counter while working out and also removed the “other” workout feature which I used while not running/walking for heartbeat steps and timing of my regular workouts I hope the developers give us access to the old features again or I will need to remove this app

  19. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Step count removed from workouts. Can't edit the workouts anymore to show step count.

  20. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Old functionality was better. The old functionality with Apple Watch was much better. You could set better options including steps for the day in the work out and watch face. The new look is not nearly as good.

  21. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Major Upgrade Flaw. There is NO way to add steps on the Apple Watch for indoor walking. There is room on the watch face to add steps. The old version had a step counter for walking.

  22. ★★★★an update broke a familiar workflow

Recent Apple Watch update ruined it for me. Loved this app and had been using it daily for over a year. Unfortunately won’t be anymore, since the most recent update removed the feature I used it for: The ability to see step count DURING a walk or run.

  23. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

They ruined it. The new update. Version 8 is terrible. It was so much better before this. I wish I could undo the update on my phone

  24. ★★★★slow performance and long loading times

That new watch update is bad. Super slow at syncing. Maybe shouldn’t have pushed the new watch update until it actually works. The syncing to watch is off and takes forever.

  25. ★★★★a needed feature is missing

Update regrets. I knew I shouldn’t have updated I kept putting it off abd hit it one night wanting to clear up all the needed updates. Mistake! Now no step counts on watch and no option to fix it!!! Absurd -it’s the name of the app, but not gonna show your step count?!!! Fix it

  26. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Hate the new version!. Toooooooo BIG!! Please bring back the old simple design. This is too hard to read and so ugly.

  27. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

8.0. I hate this update on the watch. I dont like the giant zoom ed in appearance. Please give us the option to zoom out.

  28. ★★★★data, history or progress disappears

“Other” is gone. There’s no way to track miscellaneous workouts with new update.

  29. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Tom S.. This app died on me Saturday-May 2, 2026. I walked over 2,000 steps and looked at my phone and it showed 0 steps

  30. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Version 8 made me cancel. The updated version 8 redesign is so bad it made me cancel my ++ subscription and use Stepcounter instead. New version lost the ability to select what data to show on the workout screen. New version does not show step count anymore for walking workouts. Why in the hell did they remove this?? As the say goes, if it ain’t broke….
