Sometimes it works. It works sometimes. But when it doesn’t, there is no way to get Help. I’ve contacted customer support. They ask for more information. I send them it. They ignore it and ask for it again. I send it. They ignore it and ask for it again I send it. They ignore it and ask for it again so I finally just gave up. It’s the app is not worth it.

  2. ★★★★no smartwatch and fitness tracker sync

Does not pull steps data from health, meaning does not integrate w wearables. Deeply frustrating app. Does not use actual accurate steps data from wearables, even if synced to Apple health - simply uses phone step data. This is super restrictive for people in particular who may not carry their phone around with them everywhere. It is such an easy fix to pull data from health instead of this data - I don’t know why they haven’t made this fix. Useless till they change this

  3. ★★★★aggressive ads

Intrusive unskippable ads…. Started getting unskippable ads after hitting 13tg planet. Maybe it’s time to drop the game…

  4. ★★★★aggressive ads

Too many ads. A lot of ads and many bugs in the game.

Keeps getting worse. Recently this app has been causing more irritation than enjoyment. I don’t understand why they don’t allow you to link up with your Apple Watch or wearable technology. Being forced to carry your phone around everywhere in order to get steps seems quite ridiculous to me and is causing this game to be too difficult to be worth my time or money. In addition the last six times my event ship has given me nothing. I don’t understand how this is decided or why all of a sudden I stopped getting any rewards but it’s yet another reason why I’m about to delete this game. UPDATE: it just keeps getting worse. Now there are ads so often the game isn’t even fun anymore. And your only option is so deal with it or pay an ANNUAL fee. So disappointed with how this game has deteriorated. Especially since I’ve had it for so long.

i dont get it where is the walking part. title

  7. ★★★★aggressive ads

Too Many Ads. Way too many ads, and keep adding more ads.制作团队无休止的增加广告,已经严重影响游戏体验。

  8. ★★★★aggressive ads

Too much ads. The ads are increasing on number and length.

  9. ★★★★other

Not for the visually impaired. I got a special offer to download this because I’ve used Plant Nanny in the past. So it looked cute enough, and I download it. But when I got in, I could not read what was in the little box with the dog, so I turned on my screen reader. The app does not work with my screen reader. It’s not accessible so I had to delete it. Thank you anyway.

  10. ★★★★other

Won’t open anymore. I’ve been playing Walkr for ten years and the latest few updates stall upon opening and essentially crashes. It’s really too bad, I loved the game.

  11. ★★★★aggressive ads

Gone downhill. This was once a very fun app. Not anymore. Now it’s full of loooong ads. Full 1-2 minute ads. Game starts out fun but once the planets take longer than 2 weeks to discover, it’s just not fun. Many users use “walking” machines which defeats the purpose. New planets now take 40 days to discover. YUK! 14 should be the max.

  12. ★★★★no smartwatch and fitness tracker sync

Lame. I was hoping this was going to be a fun game that rewarded you for steps, but I wasn't exactly correct. The concept is there, however if your source for steps is your watch then look elsewhere. My phone is not attached to my hip all day so most of my steps are not counted, so I'm talking I'm getting maybe a couple hundred steps versus the thousands I actually get daily. It'd be more fun if there was more interaction via the watch, but it lacks a lot of depth. Hard pass.

The point of this app doesn’t even work?. I love the other apps from this company- great for people with ADHD or who just want to have fun being productive. But this app doesn’t work unless you are using the phone imbedded pedometer. If you have a watch to more accurately count your steps you’re out of luck. It seems you have a large team from the multitude of updates and plenty of money from the tons of ads you make us watch, but you cannot connect the steps to watches like so many other fitness apps? This was promising, but I’m uninstalling until you allow us to accurately count our steps, as I’m sure many others are.

  14. ★★★★aggressive ads

Not what it used to be.. This app used to be great. Now it’s full of ads and the walking aspect seems like an after thought. I think maybe it was sold by the original developers to a new company :( I’m happy for them if they made some money but the game isn’t the same.

Stop having ads with sound. I understand to have a free app, it usually has to be ad supported. What I can’t tolerate is unstoppable ads that have music/sounds when I have the music/sounds turned off in the app. I like to play games like this when I’m listening to an audiobook or music, and when an ad pops up, it stops what I’m listening to and then I have to leave the app to start it back. And if I leave the app, I’m not coming back.

  16. ★★★★no smartwatch and fitness tracker sync

Want to love it. I really want to like this game but it doesn’t count steps at all even when going through settings to make sure all settings for tracking are on. Doesn’t track through Apple Watch which is another annoyance. It counts a small fraction of my steps even though I have my phone on me since it doesn’t count Apple Watch steps. The steps counted directly on my phone is not what the app is getting.

Please read this! It is an honest review!. Developers read this if you want to make your app actually worth it!!!!! (New Update! The app keeps quitting every time I get on. How is that helpful -1 star. And I can’t even lower it that low anymore!) (Update: The app “doesn’t have any ads right now” when I am trying to get my food! Not helpful! -1 star. Also it forces you to watch an ad every time you start the app -1 star. Very frustrating for this to not be connected to Apple Watch, I know that it is simple to do because so many apps do it -1 star. I also see that a TON of people have asked for Apple Watch and Fitbit connectivity and that developers don’t listen! -1 star. I am not sorry for lowering my rating, initially a fun app though.) Ok so I have only played this game for like three days (under ten planets still) but it has been amazing. The fact that it is a time based game is both a blessing and a curse! I tried a game before this called pocket plants, but it encouraged me to sit around and tap all day rather than walk.(plus other issues with ridiculous currency that you have to pay for, I really appreciate that I can watch ads to get cubes if I don’t want to pay!) I do wish that the steps could be converted to cubes or tomatoes based on your current needs, or just that you could convert energy into the tomatoes or cubes as well. I also think that when you have a planet that finishes production it would have you feed it and then ask you whether you want to start production or upgrade, because when it says that my people are hungry I feel bad so I feed them, but then I can’t upgrade unless I spend energy or cubes. It would also be nice if I could link my Apple Watch to the game to collect steps. I really like that it doesn’t force you to watch ads (except for when I get on it will sometimes randomly force me to watch an ad), but they are optional to get stuff that is useful (I personally watch all the daily ads to get the stuff I need) but I would like more ad variety then just the same five ads over and over again. I know that free games usually need ads to pay for the developers needs, but I think it is creepy that the ads that are pop-up are for places in my city, I know I gave permission for location services, but that is to track my steps, not to give me ads for local shops. I would also like it if it would encourage me to walk a little more (that is the whole reason I got this after all.) Overall a great game but these features could up it to a whole new level! Thanks for taking the time to read and please consider these ideas!

Does Not Count Steps From Watch/Pedometers. I walked a lot today and the app is not counting any of my steps. Looked on their website and discovered that this app will not count any steps from a pedometer or smartwatch, which is crazy and most of people’s steps. This completely decentivizes me from using this STEP BASED app. Uninstalling.

  19. ★★★★no smartwatch and fitness tracker sync

Shame. Honestly it’s a great game, however, not allowing information to flow from a Apple Watch is sad. I can’t have my phone at work with me and I end up with 11,000 to 15,000 steps a day. So allowing that to synch would be awesome. But the devs refuse ☹️

  20. ★★★★aggressive ads

Disappointed. I have enjoyed this app for several years. Now they want to put ads in there and charge me to use it. Such loyalty ! I will be done with this app.

  21. ★★★★confusing interface without a tutorial

I don’t understand how they still don’t have one touch coin/feed. I played this game for 4 years or so and it got to the point where feeding all the planets takes a good 5+ minutes. So tedious and not fun. And the more asteroid bells you buy the worse the experience gets. Unplayable as an adult with a life😭😭😭. This app kept me active when I was using it. Please do something about it. Playing this app shouldn’t feel like a chore

  22. ★★★★no smartwatch and fitness tracker sync

Outdated. For a “new” app, how it works is outdated. Almost everyone wears a fitness band or smart watch. The whole point of having a smart watch is to be able to exercise without having to carry my phone. It only counts the steps that are recorded by the iPhone itself. So even though I have 12,000 steps, I only get to “play” with 3,000. No point to this app unless you are a person who carries your phone with you absolutely everywhere.

  23. ★★★★other

Not really a game, crashes frequently. Is constantly crashing now which resets your progress - so I have to collect 2 or three times.

  24. ★★★★other

Please fix. lost all my data when i logged in

  25. ★★★★★other

Last update is bad!. It is not responsive to touch on things that should be.

  26. ★★★★★aggressive ads

Walkr. I’ve been playing this game for about 10 yrs. Not only has the amount of ads increased but also the length of the ads themselves has increased. It’s hard to play between all the pop up ads. It’s getting frustrating. Also there are no instructions about how to play the labs and asteroids

  27. ★★★★★aggressive ads

    广告太多!. 广告越来越多了!!!!

  28. ★★★★★aggressive ads

Good game but. It’s a good game, keep me motivated within its apps walking counting steps daily. Can add friends do walking for resources but this….ads thing, every time I open app, there is these ads, running for 3-5 minutes. Omg, especially the one with save the freaking king. I absolutely hate their ads. Always long and tedious. Can you opt out that ads.

  29. ★★★★★other

Fix update bugs. Newest update has messed up things for veteran walkr fans. Listen to the people who have been with you since the beginning Walkr!

  30. ★★★★★slow progression and costly monetization

Meh. Helps motivate movement, but fairly unexciting overall, especially once you’ve been playing for a bit and it takes a month to get or upgrade planets.
