  1. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Even after taking membership, gets ad for higher plan - Smart Investor Model Portfolio. It makes the UI experience very bad.

  2. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Pop up’s end less. Pop up’s on paid subscription endless pop ups

  3. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Every man for himself!. From the reviews that I’ve read it seems the only time the developers respond is 1. When they want to portray themselves as caring, and ask for further details, and 2. to reinforce the kind words of others. Maybe I’m missing it, but I don’t see anything where developers have responded with actual changes and results that have occurred indirect response to someone’s misfortune. Especially considering they are very specific about their issue! I HAVE NOT SEEN ONE REVIEW WHERE SOMEONE MENTIONS A SPECIFIC ISSUE AND THE DEVELOPER HAVE RESPONDED WITH “THANKS” Thank goodness I’m not an Americant!

  4. ★★★★ads disrupt the experience

Riddled with weird Ads. Annoying to use unpaid version. Weird Ads pop up left and right, play sounds, hard to close. Does not feel like a serious app, rather a joke. For that reason I will not even use it.

  5. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Malicious methods indicate inferiority. Short version: TipRanks behaves like what it is: a pure predatory scam. Gives absolutely nothing without exorbitant upfront payment, sight unseen. What you get for spending a fortune is of dubious value, uncertain quality at best. Mostly reuses free content and tools; the rest cheaply AI generated. Complete ripoff pay to see idiot tax. Relies on scammy practices to dupe lazy novices. Full: Website shows how they do: page-size redirect fields, constant scammer tactics. App likewise defines “disreputable.” First signup required for anything but looking at preset “top” 3 stocks’ last closing price, and some freely available news linked & vacuous AI written perspective articles with deceptive clickbait titles. “So and so stock soars,” labeled an hour ago but won’t be about recent activity, just any discernible upward movement that ever took place. So free/fake news, bare minimum less than googling “stocks” would provide content until you register to be tracked and profiled, say ok to all that being sold forever. And that’s just to look at equally generic info on other stocks. For any of what they describe as features without mentioning payment, you would indeed have to pay per thing, about $10 each, weekly. Or engage in multitiered subscriptions that cost hundreds to start with mandatory annual commitment. But just the initial tier won’t get more than is freely available anywhere. To get their so-called best functionality would run about $1000. Nothing you’d supposedly get for that can be tried or previewed in the slightest without enormous upfront payment. Plus they get to market you like a ham to whomever forever, so brace for the exponential spam increase that you authorized.

  6. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

    Horrible. Horrible

  7. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

    Special sale. Special sale

  8. ★★★★ads disrupt the experience

Getting worse after every update. Updates have been turning the app to a useless distraction. Ads interrupt and harassments, AI autogenerated articles, the usual suspect writers with false claims and so called analysis … Do not recommend.

  9. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Bait and switch. Clunky UI, delayed data points, market indicators are marked up. Ads ever 3 minutes likely a fraudulent app.

  10. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Full of bugs and stale data April 2025. Latest release is full of bugs. Ticker UNH for example missed earnings yet data show a February strong Buy Rating. Forecast tab is not refreshing. This issue is true for many securities.

  11. ★★★★crashes, freezes and errors

Frozen app. I just downloaded the app as I have the website on my computer. Tried deleting app 3 times and still get a message which will not go away!

  12. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Extremely limited. This is so far my greatest purchase regret of 2025. It just doesn’t do much. I would highly recommend trying it for a month before committing to a full 12 months like I did.

  13. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Unusable. The free version is not helpful and if the paid version is as full of pop up ads I’m sure I don’t want to spend the premium price. You can do your own research for articles or you can work just as hard to get it through this app. Worst app experience for me ever!

  14. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Behind Pay Wall. Fun app - you get 5 minutes in right? And BOOM PAY WALL - you cannot pass unless you pay us 349.99!!! Come on atleast make the wall further on, you’re going to keep getting so many reviews like this it will honestly hurt sales more than anything.

  15. ★★★★accessibility and assistive-technology issues

If your considering subscribing to Tipranks. If you're considering subscribing to TipsRank, save your time and money. Compared to Simply Wall Street, Seeking Alpha, or Motley Fool, TipsRank falls embarrassingly short in both quality and customer service. The platform's analysis lacks depth and reliability, making it a far cry from its competitors. Simply Wall Street provides comprehensive, data-driven insights; Seeking Alpha offers a wealth of perspectives from seasoned investors; and Motley Fool delivers thoughtful and actionable advice. TipsRank, by contrast, feels amateurish and unpolished. The worst part, however, is their customer service—or lack thereof. Despite prominently advertising a 30-day cancellation policy on their website, they refuse to honor it. I tried to cancel by day 4 of the 30 day trial listed on their website. Their dismissive and unhelpful support team makes resolving issues an exercise in frustration. It’s clear they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. Avoid TipsRank at all costs. There are far superior platforms out there that respect their customers and deliver real value.

  16. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Beware false advertising- cannot cancel online. Would have liked the app if it weren’t for the false advertising. There’s no way to cancel subscription online if you purchased it with a credit card. Should put this information up and center during the purchase process. Second, doesn’t Finra and California regulations mandate providing customers with ability to cancel online. The 30 day guarantee means nothing if one cannot cancel.

  17. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Consistently crashing. Another day, and again, no access to my portfolios. As usual, they will appear again at some point, but for now, I have no access to my information. I’ll be happy when my subscription expires in 2025 and I can move on to a more reliable platform.

  18. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Premium membership. I’ve never had a premium membership before and since they won’t allow a monthly membership or free trial, they’ve made it inaccessible to a lot of people, myself included.

  19. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Stats are consistently wrong. Nice if you want some useless statistics about stocks but their stuff is consistently wrong particularly around earnings, earnings dates. How will you make money if you don’t have accurate information about a company’s earnings?

  20. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Watchlist. Just installed latest update and the app dropped my watchlist!

  21. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Options calculator????. For all of the ads and pop-ups on the website to use the options calculator, you would think it would have the calculator since the app blasts your phone for about a minute before you can use the site. Downloaded the app to maybe get around that, you guys want $200 for an app that is missing the calculators…. Otherwise I would have used this, but it’s missing the tools section…. $200 and it’s missing the tools section…. Then the stock screener has an option for bloggers sentiment?? $200 for what someone else on a keyboard is saying just to blast the price one way or the other so they can make a profit?? That’s what your asking for? $200 for what someone on Reddit says or tiktok? Kma

  22. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

    Latest Update👎🏼. Going downhill.

  23. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Pop Ups—Trustworthy?. I heard a couple of the YouTube analysts that I follow. Mention Tip Ranks, so I thought it was worth checking out. I downloaded the app and started adding stocks. I was about to connect to my broker account to give access to my portfolio when a bunch of pop-ups started. Now I question whether I can trust these guys. i’m not going to connect it now.

  24. ★★★★an update broke a familiar workflow

Terrible Update. I’ve been a Tipranks user for years now. This latest update has made it completely unusable. I’m on the hunt for a replacement app. So disappointed in these developers. I DO NOY RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THIS APP.

  25. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Scam. For $300+/year, at least give us a handy for all the useless info you puke up

  26. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Dividends Page!!!. This app is pointless without the dividend page! I constantly have to open the web browser version just to see the dividends. Missing a ton of data the web page offers!

  27. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Scam Alert. Does not honor 30 day refund policy if you pay through Apple. This is not specified in their policy.

  28. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

PLAID DOES NOT SUPPORT MOOMOO APP. Was not able to sync my portfolio; Moomoo app not supported

  29. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Absolute trash. If you actually want this to sync with your portfolio then DO NOT BUY. It syncs but none of the numbers will be accurate. The balance will be inaccurate. The shares will be inaccurate. They will respond quickly to you but they will be absolutely impotent to do anything to fix it or to refund you. RUN AWAY AND USE THE MONEY TO BUY STOCKS INSTEAD. SeekingAlpha is much better.

  30. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Fidelity. Can’t import from fidelity with 2FA. Seems sketchy to me !
