   Good In Theory. Love this concept, but hate how quickly Prosper will give up on a loan not being paid. It’s almost like they say, not my money, not my problem. I’m not endorsing mob boss tactics, but Prosper needs to figure out a better way to retrieve the capital before writing it off as a loss. Very unimpressed.

   Scam. I invested $100 3years ago. Today I find less than $50 available to me and no records of any outstanding loans owed to me. The interest earns over 3years time was all taken from me via ‘fees’.

   Not worth the ROI. Ive used this for a long time now. There are far far better ROI investments than this. Summary is don’t waste your time. The concept is absolutely amazing I love the idea of peer to peer lending but it needs some work.

   Don’t invest in this. There’s really no point to this. If someone doesn’t pay you back, you are screwed. Just keep your money and buy a scratch off.

    Avoid at all costs. This company literally steals money from everyone. The prospectuses are inaccurate copy&paste specials. You’ll see charge offs that will after 120 days for AA rated loans and you won’t have any tax benefit. It will take almost a decade to see your shorted returns. You’re better off keeping cash under your mattress than giving this company your money to loan out and lose.

    Horrible customer service. Started investing with prosper about 2 months ago. Sent them quite a bit of money over this time. Out of nowhere they locked my account with no explanation or notification. Called customer service and was told that there was no one that was available to address the issue and that it could take 48 hours for someone to respond. Completely unacceptable! I suggest finding other investment options.

    Professional Scammers. I've been investing with Prosper for over two years, so this is a fair review. As a San Francisco based company, at first glance seems reputable. Prosper is far from it. They hire professional accountants to manipulate data to attract investors and borrowers. You will lose money guarantee either way. Highly unethical. Stay away from Prosper! D-

    Long term results. I have been investing small amount on the Prosper platform since 2019. I was initially excited about it and the potential to be able to make small investments. As I was using the platform, it consistently told me that I was earning around 11% interest on my investments. But as I decided to change some of my strategies, I started withdrawing my money from Prosper to invest in other areas. This is where the wheels fall off. As I started withdrawing money, all of the so-called profit I had made was eaten up in losses to defaulted loans. So after 5 years investing on the platform, I am now currently on track to have a total overall loss instead of any profit. I would highly recommend investing your money somewhere else.

    Withdrawing cash from the app nearly impossible. Over the years the Prosper UI has been utterly rubbish across all platforms, today you can’t confirm withdrawals in the iOS app, you enter the amount but then it doesn’t do anything. Had to do it via the site. It’s like they never use their own products.

    Charge offs. I have only selected AA, A, and B notes and a disproportionate number of these notes get charged off. If I can get at least 10% back I am out. Prosper’s underwriting doesn’t inspire confidence lately. I’d prefer to purchase ETFs.

    Paltry returns. Total waste of time. Given the default rates on this unsecured debt, I’m barely beating 4%. Might as well stuff it in the mattress.

    5 day Money Hold. Downloaded the app and set everything up. I transferred a small transfer to try -which I’m glad I did. And it’s taken about 5 days to transfer my money to them and about 5 days to send back to my bank. They said after the first transaction it speeds up but that’s not the case. If anything my recent transfer has taken longer than my first.

    Widget issues. Widget randomly just disappears and I have to continuously keep adding it back. This is happening on my iPad and iPhone.

    Warning, scam alert. Prosper investment stole the 1,282.21 I filed a police report I contacted the securities and exchange commission. These people do not know what they’re talking about. When it comes down to investments it really is just an inconvenience. I would give them those stars but unfortunately I have to give them one, but ultimately they get no stars the running of the multi million dollar scam. Stay away from Prosper Invest Francis not worth it it’s not worth the headache nor the hassle.

    Negative return on investment + terrible app. Tested this with $500 to see the experience: 1) negative return after 2 years 2) money is tied up for years 3) they make you call their support to change your bank account. A very simple change that should be easy to do within the app.

    Took my money and made it disappear. I put 200 dollars in and I’m not able to withdraw I wasn’t even able to invest in anything or even see options to. Kept saying try again later it’s on our end. Terrible app doesn’t even work.

    Charge off. Not a fan with 15k charge off. You gamble and sometimes you lose. Lesson learned. Will never invest in any peer to peer lending again!

    Prosper is a joke for investing standards of Europe and some American firms.. Horrible customer service that can’t help with anything, Prosper charges way too much with no fund that protects investors at all, they don’t care as long as the volume of loans coming in is sufficient for them, they are inefficient, very slow and default rate is quite high, along all credit ratings mind you. And other investment companies already have a fund and protect investors with zero amount of dollars and euros lost by investors to this day. Prosper needs to get their game together before they go underwater. Also they need better website and app interface before I invest any more money or find an alternative.

    What do you mean “not available in your area?!”. Apparently since I live in Carrollton Tx, I can’t use Prosper investing! It’s a bloody APP!! Why have it if only certain areas can use it? Don’t recommend!
