   Newest update is awful. The latest update destroyed the app. Any time I try to add items to various shopping lists it shows up as a blank checkbox under “other”. I’ve deleted the shopping list, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, and it still won’t show the items I’ve added to my list. Not much I can do with an invisible shopping list…

   Killed my list. Suddenly I have to sign in and sign up? No warning whatsoever. Now my stuff is gone. It was a decent app, but they keep changing it for the worse. Good riddens.

   This company is deceptive. They advertise a 7 day free trial but I was charged $59.99 immediately and was unable to obtain a refund. It’s not worth trying this app or supporting this company. Beware.

   Any.do Website Claims “PERSONAL” = FREE. I thought this might be a good replacement for M/S ToDo particularly since the webpage www.any.do/pricing states clearly: PERSONAL use if FREE. But as soon as one installs the app, it immediately tries to place in its “premium” mode costing $5/month and does not offer at all the “Personal” use mode

   Disappointed. I’ve been using this app for years to keep lists and info and all of a sudden I went to check something and it is forcing me to create an account. Now I’ve lost everything I’ve been jotting down for years. Not ok Any.do.

   Don’t push things I don’t ask for. If you like unrequested notifications that have nothing to do with your to-dos, this is a great app. One day of using this app and next thing I know - you’re pushing motivational prompts to me. I never asked for this, I want notifications for things that need to get done in the app to cut through clutter in my life - and now you’re clogging up my notifications and sending clutter. You guys can’t help yourselves.

    screw up. This app is so poorly codes that the initial signup form breaks. The required name field fails to raise the virtual keyboard to actually type anything.

    Not intuitive. I downloaded the app and as soon as I opened it for the first time, it was populated with hundreds of items pulled from either notes, or iCal or who knows what but there was no easy way to delete them all and just start from a blank slate. I don’t even know where it pulled them from. If an app is painful to use right from the beginning, I’m out.

    Highly frustrating. I upgraded to the family plan today and wasted a good chunk of my afternoon trying to get the app to work. Tried to delete a board I didn’t want and it won’t go away. Tried to rename grocery list and can’t. Emails to reset password never arrived. Tried on desktop and had more success, but then when I grab my phone to add something, none of those updates are synced, even an hour later. And I can only create 4 shared boards in the family workspace? I feel like I got bait and switched by the almost 5 star reviews . This app is terrible.

    This used to be the best. I used this app for many years and I loved it. It was one of the primary ways I kept organized. I had a list of daily and weekly reminders as well as longer term things I didn’t want to forget. I opened up the app today and was forced to register and potentially sign up for a plan, and all the reminders I had listed are gone. My lists are gone. It’s like someone threw away all my post-it notes without any warning. I’m so disappointed. I will no longer be using this app. I understand wanting to monetize an app, but pulling the rug out from under users is not the way to do it.

    I do not want to give my data to anyone. After using this app for years, now I have to let corporations know what I am doing everyday. I now have to login and tell them before I go to buy. Companies are now changing prices as soon as you walk in the store. I will not be using this app anymore. I am done.

Have been trying to cancel and they continue to take my money!! Thanks for response. Still didn't cancel my service?? What does it take to cancel, instructions that do not work. Instructions is all I get. The instructions don't work.

    Crashes every update. Another user on January 22, named Aquagil, left a review that is exactly what I’ve been saying to the development team for the last couple of years now. You are not alone, aqua girl, contrary to what the developers response was. Lots of other people I imagine are having the same issue. They just refused to acknowledge it. I’ve used this app for probably since it first started 15 years ago and have not had issues until the last few years. Now, EVERY SINGLE TIME they do an update it crashes. And every time I’ve left a review or reached out to the development team to report the issue, they claim that I’m the only one in the world who has this problem and they have no idea what I’m talking about.

    Terrible log in process. Created an account using third party (Apple). Loved the functionality of the app but it logged me out and I can’t get back in to my premium subscription account. It just creates a new free account every.single.time. Support chat bot told me what I needed to do but the steps it’s telling me to do aren’t even accessible since the latest iOS update. No customer service number to call. Requested refund from Apple and will find an app where I can actually LOG IN TO MY PAID ACCOUNT. Unstalling.

    My list of completed tasks disappeared all of a sudden.. My list of completed tasks disappeared all of a sudden and I could never bring it back. This app isn’t the same like it is anymore. Don’t subscribe if you plan to soon.

    Crashes every update. Paying customer here and venture capitalist. This is a relatively simplistic app so would appreciate it if this didn’t crash every time a new update was rolled out. Current version crashes the second you move around a task. Frustrating this happens every new version. Requires deleting it, redownloading…..and having all your locally stored tasks messed up and having to redo it. For a venture funded “startup” (now 15 yrs in), this is SaaS 101 that should be locked down by now. Really shouldn’t have to jump on here to leave a review like this. Will re-review with a different rating once these guys figure it out.

    1. Requires an account. Cannot test otherwise. 2. Privacy concerns.. Users are forced to set up an account even to explore the app. That’s a major concern and an invasive requirement. I do not want my personal, private information synced to a 3rd party server. Developers: Let us explore your app WITHOUT having to set up an account. Give us an option later of synching, locally or via iCloud if we chose to and even to skip your servers! Respect our privacy and let us try your app without an account, that is, to test the waters first! THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE, BUT YOU MISS THE KEY POINT! 1. Give us the ability to TEST your app without having to FIRST set up an account. We need to know if it's even a viable todo app before synching our data. 2. As to the privacy concerns, give users the OPTION to sync directly to their Mac if they would like to. Don't force 3rd party server syncing upon users! Better apps respect users' privacy concerns and give them options!

    Don’t download this app. I tried this app once and disliked it. Deleted it from my phone and yet I’m still getting charged. Two charges so far and not reimbursed.
