   Only temporary usage. There doesn’t seem to be any way to use the memo since they aren’t available to other apps so naming, transcription and moving are required.

   Needs a Repeat Function. I used this only for studying and the fact that you don’t have a repeat button makes it insufferable

   The thing. Every short sound or really quiet it still shows up really loud on the thing and when you try to do it, it’s fine, but I give it a one star because of all those and all my bad recordings and because I have not been able to make sure it was actually good. I made sure nobody was in the room while it was recording and it was really quiet, but it still had a lot of noises and I didn’t know why. So if you fix that you would automatically get a five star but I give it a one star because I like the technique and I like how you do it maybe maybe I’ll just add a two star next time because the thing is killing me on the inside. I can’t listen to a single recording without having to hear a little noise. I couldn’t even hear it with headphones that can attract quiet noises, and I’ve been wanting to know more and more if you are able to fix this if you can fix it, you would have the best best thing I have ever seen in an app.

    Didn’t work. I set it up to record and put it down. When I came back to it, it looked like it was still recording but actually only recorded for the first 37 seconds. Fail. Why would I pay for something that fails so miserably on the test round?

    no file save options. I hate that it forces me to save the files to a hidden folder in iCloud completely blocking access to the recordings for all other applications

    Control center no longer shows. Worked up until the last 2 iOS updates, would love for this to be resolved! Tried everything from apple/google you name it but no way of getting it back to my control center.

    Voice malfunction. Unable to record a voice memo on my brand new iPad mini. The microphones are not detecting my voice as there aren’t any of those red spikes that appear in the recording. Please fix this bug in the app for iPad mini.

    Hate automatic transcription. Regardless of the quality of the voice memo, I find it appalling that the transcription isn’t a choice that users can turn on and off. I don’t want my voice memos transcribed. I should be able to turn it off. Before it wasn’t automatic. Now I will stop using this app because it I hate that I can’t stop it. And I can’t delete the transcript without deleting the memo, so it now takes more storage space, for a transcript riddled with errors.

    Terrible design. Randomly asks for reviews while you’re multitasking, blocking your screen and causing you to miss a queue to record a memo you needed, despite all notifications being turned off. 0/5, would not recommend. There, you get your review. Just like you wanted.

    Awful. Literally never want to record and yet it does

    Buggy and doesn't preserve metadata. They really made this app a lot worse. You used to be able to AirDrop the recordings to a MacBook, and it would preserve the dates of the recordings. But Apple has been doing everything it can to make it impossible to manage your own files without paying for iCloud storage. This app was one of the casualties. Aside from that, recordings frequently get corrupted. This shouldn't be an issue in 2026. There are much better alternatives available.

    No “Undo” Button Brings This Wonderful App to its Knees. Apple’s inept app design development department strikes again. At this late stage in its life, this app still does not have a “undo” feature to revert any changes on your work. Imagine losing 8 hours of productivity on a simple tap. Ineptitude and lack of effort on Apple. Truly an embarrassment to your whole company.
