- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
Inaccurate. So inaccurate as to be useless
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Subscribed but no access. I subscribed to the premium service and it says I still need to subscribe after subscribing. I tried reaching out to customer service and can’t get any help. Very frustrated!

Useless unless you pay. Literally you have to pay to see anything. Gen z promoting this on Facebook like it's something really good. I guess wds arw working. Here catch a 1 star review for locking content behind a paywall

Not able to track my home. The app only has a smaller community that is 10-15 miles away from my home address. Not pleased at all!!
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Canceled Subscription. A good app, but I don’t appreciate the bait and switch. It is now $29 a year when it was free for two locations.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Charges. Why is this so called free app trying to charge me
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Doesn’t report correctly. I bought it. It does not show my location correctly even though I have location turned on. I have a physical rain gauge and the amount I receive vs the app amount is very different. The app under reports vastly what I am actually receiving. Unfortunately I did the yearly subscription but have cancelled it. Should have done the monthly to test it first. Lesson learned.

App does not work. Doesn't work in Hawaii. Even in a major city like Honolulu, it just displays "n/a”

I loved the app until the update. Do NOT update the app!! BEWARE! You will lose multiple features! Including not being access your location and see the monthly rain totals in the calendar. They took these features away and gave you a forecast instead. It’s not worth it. Keep the old version of the app.

Used to love it!. Since the update 4/21 ithere is no longer a free option. Great software but would rather have an ad than pay a subscription.
- ★★★★★an update broke a familiar workflow
Crashing. After recent update the app will not load and crashes immediately.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Disappointed. There used to be a free version that I had. It wanted me to update, did, then app wouldn’t stay open. Deleted it, reinstalled and now only offers paying versions. Sad as the basic free one was all I needed. Love that one.

it WAS a decent app. I have been using the app for a couple of years to monitor my ranch property in the next county over. It allowed two marker locations for free which suited my needs. I placed a second marker here at my house to compare accuracy to physical gauges I have always used here. Where the app is always off and inconsistent to what actually fell in two different gauges here, that always coincide with each other, the app gave at least an indication that it had rained. Now, after an update, the second marked location is locked out behind a subscription wall. If the app was accurate for being charged to use it, that may justify paying for it. But to pay for that which is bad information is absurd. Would you buy a newspaper (physical or virtual) that gave out false information? I think not. So why would someone want to pay an annual inflated price for something that is giving bad results? Actual glass or plastic rain gauges cost a fraction of this subscription and last for years. So to be charged multiple times that amount and not get the accuracy of something cheaper is a bad investment and makes no economical sense. Now, if this company charged a smaller fee than what they do, every few years renewal instead of every year, like the life of physical more accurate rain gauges cost, then I could justify paying them for delivering their service. But as it is now, it is a waste of money to not get what is being paid for. Update 4/2026 Now it is totally locked out for even one free gauge site. They want a subscription fee for even just one, which was free after they locked out the second free site. So no more gauges without paying, period. What a bait and switch tactic of deceptive business practice these guys are pulling. I stand behind what I said earlier about more realistic pricing, but after this stunt they just pulled, I won’t be giving them any of my money. Nice job on driving away and losing a potential customer.

No longer really free. Deleting off my devices. Only lets you do 1 location and have to pay for more. Off to the next rain gauge app

Fake. Do not get this app. It rained all day and it said it was -.12 negative .. even the weather station and yahoo weather free app is better . Don’t waste your $
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Used to be free. Deleting. Used to at least give you one location for free, but everything has to be subscription based nowadays 🙄

No longer works. They changed it and now it won’t even give me details for one location. It’s literally useless now.

New settings. Don’t like the new setup. Too expensive to continue keeping track of rain amounts!

Not even close. We had a rainstorm in Punta Gorda Florida on March 6. The next day the app said we had 3.4 inches, which was correct based on local rain gauges. Today, March 11, the app shows a total of 1.4 inches for the month and .5 for March 6. App is useless now apparently.

Hidden fees. Subscription required to use. Which is ridiculous for public information that’s freely available. This is a SCAM

Review. Terrible app. Paid $50 and it kicked me out repeatedly and finally wouldn’t let me back in. App needs to work on the bugs and allow those who pay a subscription to actually utilize said product. Disappointed.
- ★★★★★an update broke a familiar workflow
Bait and Switch. Extremely disappointed. After the update, the app quietly removed the ability to track two locations for free, with no warning or transparency beforehand. This feels like a bait-and-switch. Losing core functionality after an update is unacceptable. I’ve deleted the app and would not recommend it to anyone.

No longer free. Went from free 2 locations to zero in February. $3/mo membership required now to open app. Can still see gauge on website but app is paid only

Deleting. No more free.. Deleting. No free option anymore after recent update.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
No more free. Very disappointed that I now have to pay for more than one location and monthly rainfall.. guess I’ll be going back up paper calendar as I’m not paying $30 a year for this
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
Deleting this app. Stopped working and now they want $30, time to find something new
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
A scam in the making. Last year I downloaded the app and paid the annual fee and set up 15 locations to monitor my farms. All ran well until last night, the app updated without my knowledge and erased my locations and though the annual subscription date was in July, it had no record of my locations on file and asked for renewal. What the heck is going on here? Please restore my app as it was and if not, refund my money for the unused portion of my subscription.

Took away free option. Greedy

No more free version?. App updated and no more free version? Only use for one location.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Used to be great. I’m not against paying for a good app but $29 a year? No thanks…
