   Used to be amazing. The corporate greed is just baffling. This used to be my favorite app- and you know what? Years ago I BOUGHT some of the individual sounds- the standard ones were amazing but I really loved the samples of some of the more unique ones. And I NEVER got a refund after now all those sounds I paid for are just GONE. I’m so angry and upset now almost nothing is free and you can’t even test the unique new sounds.

   What am I missing??. I saw this app and love sound scapes and especially love choosing them to my liking. I downloaded the app and there is nothing I can do with it. It has a black screen with big white letters explaining what the app does, but NOTHING to choose or listen to. The black screen and white letters essentially told me there are in app purchases to have access to the complete library. I’d upload a screen shot, but there doesn’t appear to give me access to do that.

   Latest Update Broke the App. Sounds aren’t loading, weird download behavior. Why fix what isn‘t broken?

   Twenty dollar surprise. I liked it. It was easy to calibrate and seemed effective. Then it locked me out and asked for $19.99. No “hey this is a trial.” No “limited number of uses.” Just “Now we want $19.99” I’m out.

   PAID BUT DOESN’T WORK!. Purchased Dec ‘24 and used it a few times. Went to use it today and the App won’t even. Tried several times black screen. Do not pay for this.

   Won’t open. This app came highly recommended however when I downloaded it it won’t open past the opening screen. It completely freezes up. I really wanted to try it as I use for white noise and to help with my tinnitus

   KEEPS MALFUNCTIONING!. My ratings have progressively gotten worse as you FAIL to fix the bug that deletes all my noises, won’t allow me to select certain noises, and FAIL to deliver on your LAYERED SOUNDS promises!! Just another GRIFT!! I always find these issues right when I’m trying to SLEEP!!! GETTING A DIFFERENT APP.

   Some soundscapes randomly stop working. I had a soundscape configured that I’ve been using for months to sleep. The app has worked great for months, I just turn on my Bluetooth speaker, start the app on my iPad, select my soundscape. About two nights ago, I did that, but the soundscape didn’t load and didn’t play. I switched to my iPhone and the app worked for one night and then last night it also stopped. There’s nothing that irritates me more than an app that just stops working randomly when I haven’t changed anything. Especially an app that is marketed as the ultimate white noise to help with sleep. Well, I did depend on it for sleep and it let me down.

    ‘No subscription’. Have to love the false advertising. Pictures of the product clearly claim ‘no ads. No subscription’ and the very first thing I’m greeted with when I open the app is to start a subscription. Deleted.

    New app, new subscription. I am very disappointed by removal of the original app from AppStore and I will never pay your subscription ever again. myNoise is finally reaching platform degradation stage, and it breaks my heart

    Ruined By Greed. I have lost ALL of my paid soundscapes that were available on the old app. This new app version is horrific and low quality. Don’t support these people.

    DONT DELETE THE OLD APP. This one is heavily aimed at advertisement of the paid options and forcing the user to spend hours on scrolling. The previous app was an elegant extension of the website, designed to get you what you want with the fewest clicks possible (literally the opposite to now). I apprecited MyNoise because of its dedication to accessibility and smart, grassroots nature. Its sad to see it turn away from these principles.

    Crash issues. After the latest update, the app crashes every time it gets 2-6 hours into playing downloaded white noise (phone on airplane mode). As you can imagine, this has been super disruptive to my sleep. I can not believe I almost signed up for a paid subscription for this app, I am very disappointed.

    Oh great.. New version to cheat previous paying customers out of what they purchased. BE WARNED I used to love this app until i just noticed they decided to make a 'new' app and then cancel the library of people who previously paid for all access. So, they will likely do that to those who paid for this "new" version.

    Pay again for less.. I bought the (supposedly) lifetime access of the old version of this app which is no longer available on the App Store. Since getting a new phone I’ve been forced to get this new version where I’m being asked to pay again for an inferior product. This app is nearly identical to the first version minus the ability to create “multigens” a combination of multiple generators playing together to make virtually unlimited unique soundscapes.

    No multi feature. Not only does multi not exist (is it coming back?) but you have to buy “lifetime” again with this new app. Love your work so no worries giving you more money but be honest about what you are selling. Please fill the feature gap here and stop playing games with how you charge!

    Left channel stops. I’d give it 5 stars but for some reason the left channel just stops working and only comes through the right and it’s really frustrating. It only resolves when I close the kill the app and reopen it

    Missing the meditation bell for no reason. It would make the app five star. Seems like a silly feature, until you start using it to track time intervals, then go to the app instead of the website and it’s nowhere to be found.

    Suddenly paywalled?. I use the fan noise to fall asleep at night, and I love it. But I tried to use it tonight, and suddenly everything but the rain sound is paywalled :/ $20 is out of my budget atm and rain sounds make me anxious, so I’m uninstalling. Awesome app, but unusable to me now

    Needs work.. This new version of the myNoise app looks nicer and has a more intuitive UI. But I do miss the hearing calibration and noise blocker calibrations from the old app, not having hearing calibration means one can’t experience certain generators as intended, most notably Grey Noise. I am hoping that gets added to this app one day. But more concerningly this app is somewhat unstable, sometimes it just crashes, or animation mode suddenly stops moving. But worst of all the app just sometimes fails to start - gets stuck at the splash screen forever. I can make do with the basic feature set, I just wish this app ran in a stable manner, please.

    Doesn’t open. I like this app and I got the trial and now it just shows the logo and I’m really wanting to use it but oh well hopefully you guys fix it unfortunately is not good right now can’t use it.

    much less intuitive to use than the original app. What a shame. I like the team but this is a shadow compared to the original. Less easy customisation, harder to download and find what you want, harder save and find your customisation, auto playing is annoying - tapping something you just want to read about interrupts what's playing, black look only. No, this is quite wrong. Stick with the legacy rather than this downward step. i'm sure there will be improvements, but hurry please!! UPDATE 2026, the new app is dreadful. sorry guys, it really is. where are the favourites? and how do you access them? quite long winded? why do i need to go into settings(!) to change timer lengths, why not from the sound?! the catalogue is now very much hidden inasmuch you must search to find what you want... I have no idea what you've called things do i?! the themselves categories are inconsistent. I stand by my original review and this update. There has been scant updates in app operating behaviour. The original trounces this by a country mile. I wish it were not so.

    Amazing!. I have tried many but this is by far the best. It’s worth it just for “distant thunder” which can be manipulated to your exact preferences. Thank you for your hard work in creating (in my opinion) the best out there. Update: I meant to give it 5 stars! ***** 😁
