I've been with Varo Bank for a few years now. I absolutely love them. Easy transfers within accounts. Great APY with the Savings Account and CREDIT BUILDING with their Believe Account and Varo Advance.
I've been with varo for 4 years now. couldn't be happier. I receive my check with my account and always receive it three days early.
VARO has always been there as a mediator for everything. No fees. I Love this Bank

I'm disabled on fixed SSDI. My deposits were clockwork for 7.5 months. Last month, the gov delayed my check. Even though Varo saw the deposit land late and knows a guaranteed check is coming, their blind algorithm slashed my Advance limit from $250 to $50.
I have contacted customer service chat to discuss although I receive adequate deposits it's not being counted towards my eligibility for the advance or line of credit. I'm frustrated that the system is faulty and I am getting gaslit by being redirected to eligibility criteria.

Wishing the app actually worked but for weeks straight now, upon opening... the app immediately crashes. I have updated this app probably 5x in a month, uninstalled & reinstalled ... still the app crashes before I even get to a login.
Haven't been able to login fur past 4 days!!! have tried everything from uninstall & reinstall, updated, restart, and nothing!!!!
if I could give negative stars I would! Horrible mobile banking!!! No number to call customer service directly! If the app is down no updates! DO NOT BANK WITH THIS APP!

I HAD AN ACCOUNT FOR 3 YEARS AND YESTERDAY IT WAS CLOSED OUT OF NOWHERE WITH 300 DOLLARS IN IT .WASNT TOLD WHAT REASON OR WHY SO NOW I HAVE TO WAIT 21 DAYS TO GET THE ONLY MONEY I HAD FOR FOOD OR GAS
closed my account and wouldn't tell me why. had to wait almost 2 weeks to get my life savings back by check in the mail. never again. only brick and morter banks from here out.

chat is terrible. can't ask a question without them guiding your inquiry. fraudulent charges are a joke. hoops you have to jump thru are monumental. customer service 1 star is too many.
recovery from fraud was/is ridiculous. took 10 days to get to someone who ACTUALLY helped. I called 13 times (checked actual phone log)
