   DO NOT BUY, doesn’t work. I purchased for a Boy Scout event. Every time I open the app, it says I need to subscribe. Then I hit subscribe and it says I’m already subscribed. I did about 5 times before I gave up. Awful!

   This app sucks!. Makes you pay for every little thing. Nothing is free and it doesn’t even work. It didn’t track stars or move with the night sky. It suggests rebooting iPhone and jumping through a ton of hoops just to try and use the app. Lame!

   Not what I wanted. Feels like preloaded night sky images that have nothing to do with where I am pointing my phone to find out what star it is. Like I’m supposed to look down and compare that with what I can see. So I lost interest in first couple of minutes. My curiosity was not taken into consideration. I’m not trying to see the whole of it at once. I can’t see beyond a certain distance because light pollution as well. I just want to know what that star is the one I am physically looking at. Deleting this and trying for one that gets me.

   Couldn’t get it to work. I’m annoyed. I needed it to work for a time sensitive item and the app would not function properly. I’m especially annoyed because I was charged. It would have been nice for there to be a trial period.

    Hopeful customer. I’ve tried several of these apps and this is my findings with this one. Upon opening the app an advertisement appears which can not be closed. Doesn’t matter how many times I launch the app or how much time I wait. The ad won’t close and this app can not be used.

    Not maintained correctly. Too many ads keeps offering me premium, which is illegal called harassment and kicks me out of the app sometimes if I click on a specific location on a map

    Overly Expensive Subscription Model. The proposition of over $200 annually, continuously, for such an app is simply ludicrous. Set a price for a one time payment of $200, that can also by paid by weekly or monthly installments toward a permanent license (some folks may need the flexibility). When upgrades are available, charge for upgrades at a reasonable price. It is common currently for people to find ways to eliminate the slow, continuous erosion of their finances based on unchecked subscriptions. No matter the quality of this product, I will not sign up for an ‘open tap’ on my account. This is from someone who easily has the funds to do so, yet is careful about ‘set and forget’ financial liabilities.

    Use sky guide instead. The app is very finicky to use. You need a subscription for many things that sky guide has for free, and I find sky guide very easy to use with amazing visuals. I appreciate you can zoom very far unlike sky guide, but your view is not locked to the rotation of the earth, so you can’t zoom far without need to constantly move your view. There might be a way to fix that that I haven’t found out. Overall i think it’s much worse, but that’s just my experience and opinion.

    Single purchase for all devices.. I purchased star gazer for my cell phone. I am disappointed that the cell phone purchase did not apply to my iPad.

    Location inaccuracy. It worked fine in the upper part of the state, but when I went down to the mid part of the state, reset the coordinates as well… the compass South was pointing to where the sunset was right in front of me. The entire grid was turned 90 degrees. I am using IOS.

    Great, but too many paywalls. I really like how it works and how many things you can see, but my only problem is how many paywalls there are. For things like nebulas I can somewhat understand but learning about the moon, not so much. Still pretty great tho, just wish ya didn’t have to pay for like half the app. I did notice it updated the moon’s color during a lunar eclipse which I find to be very cool! The direction it’s in is quite accurate and I extra love how I can zoom in close enough to where I can literally see it moving! Overall really cool, but still, FAR too many paywalls and constantly asking for a subscription every time I open the app

    Pretty good. The app itself is very good in quality and accessibility, but for anything but the stars, you need a subscription for everything else, which was quite disappointing. But I would totally recommend this to another person.
