   No new news in 4 days.... In addition to ads being displayed despite paying for no ads, it now appears the site is not getting updated with new stories.. Been 4 days...Looks like there may be other issues going on besides the ad scam.

   Terrible update. Update to the below review: The app is basically unusable. Ads are presented willy nilly, and it takes great effort and a bit of luck to get anywhere near the articles. Deleting the app and looking for a better replacement, which shouldn’t be difficult. Sad ending to what was once a good app. Original review: The new format is awful. There is not enough of a writeup in the listing to glean what is in the article. One has to open almost every article to get an indication of what it is about. Go back to the previous format, and quickly.

   Was excellent. I loved this app! Until today. As of Feb 19th, it updated and now has pop up ads. Wow, that’s an awful update. I used to read space news every night for years. Then tonight I saw the icon changed and when I opened it, first thing was a pop up ad. I’m so sad to have had to delete the app now.

    Too Biased. I’m sick of the political (always pro liberal) biased news, articles and ads. I love astronomy and space but am deleting the app because it seems there is a political agenda more important than actual science.

    Problem loading articles when going to website. Loved this app!!!!! But after the new layout can not use use it anymore with I-phone? since I never get to go beyond the article snipets when clicking go to website link. Nothing ever loads. No education there, sad. Really miss it......

    The ads have gotten out of control. Prior to a recent update, there were ads but they were fewer and could be dismissed much easier. Now, however, the new ads have made the app much less user-friendly. Disappointed.

    Too much advertising !!. Ads generate revenue, and it takes money to maintain the app...we get it. But old fashioned television is dying a quiet death because of over advertising....think about it.

    Great New but Community Is Broken. I first downloaded this app probably 7ish years ago. I watched the news curation improve to a point where almost all the news was purely space related. I loved it. However, my favorite part was the community section. Everyday there was usually 6 new comments and at least 3 new posts. It was a very active, knowledgeable, and friendly community. At one point, I stopped using the app for a year. When I came back, I noticed more community posts… but most of posts were junk: people asking stupid questions, spam, and ads. Plus, the comments on the news was becoming less knowledgeable. Of course, this caused other members to leave and the community shrank. This was so disappointing I only glanced at the app every month. Now, the last community post was a week ago and was just reposting an article. I believe the spam and down trend of the community lead most of the original and dedicated community to leave. This lead to a decline in community, insight-fullness of comments, and overall app appeal. I believe this app can still be saved. The developers need to take a very active role in the community and try to rekindle the old years of this app. All this said, it is a great culmination of space news. It is less accurate than it used to be as less people vote on the news post. However, I am grateful that the developer(s) created this app as it was an amazing hub of scientific discussion. Please, take the time to improve it. Crack down on article reposts. Set community guidelines. Ban/kick users who spam. Actively seek out users that would benefit the community (the NASA discord channel for example).

    Apple Space news. The news stories are excellent. The rating system is far less so. I like that the system puts a ‘read’ check box by each story so you can see if you’ve read it without opening it. I don’t like that some videos start automatically. I don’t like that some ads fill an entire screen and are a nuisance to scroll past. I don’t mind little add. I do mind that some particular ads come up repeatedly. Is Space News trying to create a negative impression of some companies by making their ads so common as to be a nuisance? Overall all Space news has many worthwhile stories.

    Almost there..... Perhaps it’s just on my phone, but when I open this app the pop ups drive me nuts, and the time it takes to load - there seems to be a drag in loading.

    Amateurish Writers. I know News Fusion takes news from other websites, but half of the articles are full of typos, and obviously not written by a scientific person.

    Rate app. Could be improved with a few more articles and links to similar subject matter. Expanding on the topic in question. Still not a bad effort. Why must I download twice to read article? Why does it take 20minutes to download? The number of items was at least a dozen. Now am lucky to get 2 or on a good day as many as 3! Is my access blocked for some reason which can’t be disclosed for reasons of legal liability? Are only few items published daily? Has COVID-19 reduced volume of papers on non biological subjects? Why is there 10 times as many ads as science papers. I know advertising raises revenue but it dominates virtually the entire space on what s meant to be a scientific paper which becomes advertising with a paragraph or two on the subject matter. Please let me know if you ever get the site working properly again.
