   Terrible. The Elvie pumps themselves are functional, however, the app needs major improvement. Regardless of how many ounces I chart per session, the app changes the amount! This is completely absurd. I can’t accurately keep track of how many ounces I’m pumping without having to write it down separately. You’re also unable to add sessions that were missed due to the app freezing after pumping and not adding the session!

   Faulty Product. Purchase for my wife and one of the two stopped working after one pregnancy with minimal use, contacted Elvie and they advised they have nothing they can do to help except spend another $550! Outrageous and terrible that they cannot even back up their own product, 10/10 do not recommend.

   Kicks me out. It was helpful at first but now it kicks me out of the app every time I open it. So I have about 1.5 seconds to check my timer. Really annoying

   App Not Working. I like my Elvie pumps because I can pump while doing life but that’s about it. The app is so frustrating. The timer is not even accurate - I’ll pump for 30 minutes and it will say it’s only been 27. Too often I go to open the app and can’t log in because it timed out, so then I have no idea how long I’ve been pumping. Glad my kid is 9 months and I won’t have to deal with this much longer. Will go with a different brand next time.

   Absolutely Frustrating & Major App Fail After Update. I managed to connect my pumps twice, just enough for the app to force me to update the pumps themselves, and after that? Nothing. The pumps won’t connect at all anymore. It’s beyond frustrating because while you can technically still use the pumps, you’re completely in the dark. You have no idea what mode you’re in, what suction level you’re using, it completely defeats the purpose of having a “smart” pump. I relied on this system because I liked the discreet, wearable concept, but what’s the point if the app which controls everything simply doesn’t work? For the price of this pump, this level of app instability is unacceptable. I’ve wasted so much time trying to troubleshoot and reconnect, and based on other reviews, it’s clear I’m not the only one. If Elvie doesn’t fix this fast, they’re going to lose a lot of loyal customers.

   Liked it until the app crashed. I’ve had this pump for less than a week. Go to use it when I’m engorged in the middle of the night & the app has kicked me out & wont let me log back in. “Something went wrong. Try again.” I know my username & password are correct. I JUST made the account. Deleted the app & reset my phone. Still nothing & they’ve made it pretty impossible to get ahold of them to hopefully fix the issue. Can’t even report it on the App Store thus why I’m leaving the review. The app when it does work is GREAT. But it should work 100% of the time when I spent almost $300 on the pump itself.

   Cannot login and use most basic functions. I have been unable to log in to my account. It just says error. I’ve reset my password. When I contacted support their solution was to ask me if I can use a different phone. Who has multiple cell phones? The set up screens are awful. Whoever designed the interface e for this app should be fired. It’s not intuitive. And it’s literally impossible to use.

   App no longer connects to older pumps - Money grab. I’ve had my pump for about 10 months since my son was 3 months old. It had worked just fine and then they asked us to do an “upgrade” on each pump over the last two weeks. Now neither pump connects to the app and there is no way to see how long you have been pumping without the app like other pumps. I’m still using these disconnected from the app because they were over $500, but it’s pretty disappointing that in less than a year the company would release updates to cause older pump models not to work. Given how expensive they were, you would expect the tech to keep working for at least 2-3 years. I guess Elvie needs more money this quarter and is trying to get people to buy new pumps. 😔 Super disappointing.

    Terrible app. I love the pump but I haven’t been able to sign in and use the app since getting the pump and signing up. It keeps telling me something went wrong when I try to sign in and then I try to change my password and it tells me the same thing when I put my email in. So I’ve yet to be able to use the app since my first pump session.

    Terrible App. The app is terrible. My pump has completely disconnected from the app twice. I’ve even gotten a new hub sent to me and reconnected but then it disconnected again. The app logs you out of your account then won’t let you log back in so you lose all your data. Don’t rely on this app.

    App not connecting. Extremely buggy. The app worked great for the first couple months. Now I’ve been having trouble with the app connecting to the pump or the app randomly closing on me. Support has not been helpful and even asked me multiple times if I could use another phone when pumping. Who has 2 smart phones?

    A lot of issues for an expensive pump. These pumps do not empty me completely. I have to hand express. The wireless hands free aspect is limited - you cannot even slightly bend over or even reach for things because then you’ll leak out. The sensor is also off, it will shut down from as little as 3oz. You can override it and it will keep going past the max capacity as well. If you empty out the containers, the amount will reset to 0. The app constantly has issues where it won’t let me log in randomly and password resetting does not work. It’s not from updating the app or updating my IOS, it just will break for month(s) at times. I’ve tried contacting the support but the email support is no longer functioning anymore despite the address being listed on their website. This is a very expensive pump for a lot of hassle. The parts as well as the bags are also very pricey.

    Terrible connection. Have to close out of the app MULTIPLE times in order for it to connect to my pump. It will also lose connection mid pump when i haven’t moved and the pump is so close to my phone. It also repeatedly will say the bottle is full and stop pumping when the bottle isn’t even close to being full. It will do this the entirety of the rest of the time i’m pumping and I have to keep pressing play.

    Worst pump ever!. Dear mamas, we going through a lot and don’t need any additional disappointment in our life, so move on and buy something else. This pump is leaking all the time. The app is glitched and connection always lost. Support is unreachable and irresponsible. I did invest $500 in the headache. I can’t use it outside of my house due to the leakage. Free pump covered by my insurance is a 100 times better! Disappointed.

    Inconsistent & Unreliable App & Pump. After 5 months of trying to use the Elvie, I can honestly say I tried to get this to work well. The pumps are very hit or miss - sometimes they work well and they work, it’s great! However, I can’t count how many times I’ve been sitting around thinking it’s workin only to pull out the pumps to find that it only worked on one side or not at all. If you are in public and trying to be discreet, it’s not reasonable to peek inside and see if milk is swishing around. The app SHOULD be able to solve this problem, however, the feature that tells you the volume you pumped is unreliable- sometimes saying you’ve pumped a volume you must certainly haven’t as the thing is practically empty. This is more than a mild annoyance - when you are on the brink of engorgement you need to pump right away! When I contacted customer service, I received very generic responses, almost as though they were copy and pasted from some script. Thankfully I used my FSA funds for this, I would’ve been even more irritated had I put this on my registry or purchased with my own post-tax dollars.

    Tracking ounces between sessions is untrustworthy. Love my Elvie pumps but the app is terrible. The recorded sessions where you input the oz of milk changes after it’s saved. It’s very inaccurate and not a trustworthy source for tracking my output

    App doesn’t record sessions. I love my Elvie!! But the app is almost useless because it doesn’t actually record your pumping sessions. I have been using the app for about 3 months now and have never recorded sessions. After finishing the pumping session, it says “getting sessions details failed”. The only reason I use the app is to know how long I have been pumping when I’m not looking at the clock. Otherwise the app is quite useless.

    App keep closing out. The app only worked for a couple days and now it closes as soon as I open it. There is no update available either. This Elvie pump was more expensive than the Spectra pump I have and if the app doesn’t work then I don’t know how long I’m pumping for because there isn’t a timer..

    App is so glitchy. Really disappointed.. The app is so glitchy, the milk estimates are way off (more than 2oz) and I'm never sure if there is actually milk being pumped. Frustrated after trying for about an hour (over 3 sessions) and each time something is "off" and no milk is coming. If this device is so "smart" why doesn't it alert you to NO milk instead of falsely claiming 2+ oz pumped? Disappointed.

    Pumps are great. App is useless.. Title says it all. I stopped being able to connect my pumps to the app after about 1.5 months of use. Multiple attempts to reach out to support were unanswered. The good news is that the pumps are great, but the bad news is that I can’t even track how long I’ve been pumping (much less use any of the fancier app features) because the app won’t recognize the pumps. Disappointing.

    Pump does not connect. NOT A WIRELESS PUMP if the Bluetooth does not work!!! The pump stopped connecting to the app 2 weeks after using it. I tried all the troubleshooting with website instructions and with chat customer service. I spent an hour on the chat for them to ask me to do the same steps over and over again when it clearly does not work. No solution offered except they are currently working on fixing the iPhone app.
