   Mobile version is TERRIBLE. if you make any schedule changes, it will not load for DAYS. Very inconvenient when it’s my days off work and I need to check something. glitches and crashes OFTEN. If you have multiple locations and try to switch from one to the other, good luck!! notes I take on client files often don’t save when doing it with the mobile app, desktop version seems to work SLIGHTLY better ALSO the new update for the desktop application is horrific. Makes it so much harder to locate and edit notes in appointments and the text is SOOOO small, with so much empty space on the screen. Worst update so far

   Worst experience ever. I have had nothing but issues with this app since I purchased the service. Nonstop issues with not being able to take payment. I am constantly having to uninstall and reinstall the app just for it to work. The tipping option gets turned off every single time I do that. Even if I don’t have to uninstall and reinstall. And don’t even get me started on how horrible the customer services nobody knows anything about what they’re talking about and they are very rude and unwilling to help fix anything. My advice find another software that does this cause this one is not it.

   Pathetic Malfunctioning GARBAGE. How much has this recent malfunction cost us? I can tell you ask for reviews before people know what a horrible app this is. I make sure to send a screenshot to all of the customers trying to book that Square is having server issues AGAIN. Hopefully they won’t make the same mistake as we did in trusting Square. If you like the words “Something has gone wrong”, you’ll love square. Pathetic leaders. This app is so unreliable and buggy. Appointments will show up on the website but not the app. So be prepared to disappoint your customers if you’re using this garbage. I’ll be back to list EVERYTHING that is wrong with this pathetic app. It’s going to be quite the list. Now I can’t even run payroll. Every time you “fix” something, it just makes it worse. I wish I could go back to the Square of old where things actually WORKED. Every month there’s ANOTHER outage. How much has your incompetence cost us now? Of course you won’t take responsibility. There isn’t a day that goes by I don’t curse the name Square MULTIPLE times.

   Hate this. This app is the bane of my existence!! It’s always freezing up when it’s time to get the payment from my clients. I want to cry. It’s not working and I need to go home.

   Tax. Square works well for payments, but the tax system for service businesses is very frustrating. My business offers massage services (which should not be taxed) and also sells retail products (which should have sales tax). I correctly set massage services as non-taxable and created tax only for retail items. However, the system still automatically applies tax to massage services during checkout. It seems like Square does not properly separate services from retail product sales. Because of this, I have to manually remove the tax from every massage transaction, which is very inconvenient. This should be fixed so that service businesses can easily apply tax to retail products without taxes being added to services.

   Bugs! Fix asap!!. I need to access this damn app for my job. It updates to 3% then crashes. I’ve tried restarting my phone. Logging out. Updating the app. Uninstalling and reinstalling. Wtf. This isn’t acceptable when people’s incomes depend on keeping appointments. FIX BUGS! Please!!

   Recent update has ruined our flow. The recent update had changed how appointment notes are stored and viewed and it has entirely disrupted our studio’s flow. Would appreciate more bug fixes for the price of usage. Additionally, we are unable to turn off the AI assistant’s responses or customize them without losing the ability for clients to confirm their appointments. The app needs to be more openly customizable for folks.

    not loving it. kinda hate it rn tbh. setting up was easy but figuring out how to go live and let clients start booking is not working. i keep getting redirected to download more apps or create new user IDs without any explanation or usable tools. feeling like the old-fashioned black book is gonna be a better option.

    You must ask for reviews before people actually use your garbage. I would be embarrassed to have anything to do with the creation of this malfunctioning piece of garbage. You are truly the WORST technology I’ve ever dealt with. Since dial up. That’s how bad this app malfunctions. Save yourself the headache.

    Glitchy app. I am a paying customer and have square appointments for my business. They recently did an upgrade and caused several fees on my account. Support did not do anything to make it right. Additionally, the app will not allow me to update my schedule. When I add a new time, it reverts back to what it assumes it is that I need. For example, I have 1pm-3pm and 3pm-5pm. When I add another time frame, I try changing the time from 11am- 1pm. The system reverts to 3:05 pm. It wants to continue off from the last appointment but I am trying to add the first appointment. Multiple calls to support is frustrating as the rep’s understanding is limited and they usually just read off a script.

    Developers strike again. I may have to drop square. I’ve been using them for their scheduling and booking, but now they insist that I have to sign up for credit card services in order to use that service even though I pay them over $60 a month and developers have made the user interface, difficult and tortured to use especially for multiple locations. I’m now actively searching for a better alternative.

    Worst app. Downloaded this for about 2 seconds before realizing I didn’t want or need it, then I tried to deactivate my account and was sent down an UNBEARABLE RABBIT HOLE of unhelpful information. I was unable to deactivate my account, due to the stupid article it sent me to which DIDNT EVEN WORK not to mention the EXTREMELY ANNOYING secondary apps they had me download. Extremely frustrating.

    BRING BACK THE ZOOM OPTION. Whyyyy did they remove this feature with the update?! Being able to zoom out was the easiest way for me to see my schedule on my phone. Please bring this back!!

    Needlessly complicated. It is obnoxious that you have to download half a dozen different apps in order to use the full functionality of a single website. Just put it all in one app. But if you’re going to split out every feature, then don’t require permissions you don’t need - case in point, if I want to check a calendar to see what appointments are on the schedule, you absolutely don’t require access to my mic in order to display said calendar.

    Breaks down regularly. The only thing more horrible than having square is having no payment processor at all. It’s like having a car that breaks down over and over and over and over again. You can never predict WHEN square will stop working and leave you stranded but you know it WILL.

    Doesn’t allow to hold a credit card. Other apps force a client to put a card down in case they miss their appointment on this app it doesn’t protect the barber or stylist I wouldn’t recommend for a business in this field

    App WAS a five star until…. Been using this app for the last few years and everything was amazing , super easy to use , user friendly . Until last week that I tried importing contacts and now according to tech support I need to manually input every new client ? I don’t get why a app would remove a feature that benefits the user hopefully this can be resolved asap so I can give the 5 stars it would deserve
