   Crashed Immediately. I purchased premium and the app crashed immediately. I’ve tried several times and verified my connection- all other apps on my phone are working and so is my wifi. I’m trying to request a refund but it’s not easy. This is very frustrating.

   Alternative is available. Good news everyone! There is an equally impressive alternative packing app available and it does not have ads nor does it charge a monthly fee. It’s great for people who travel once or twice per year and not enough to live in “subscription” mode like thjs app prefers that you do. I used to use this app quite a bit but the ads were added years later that I had not agreed to. Then to remove them, they wanted me to pay continually. No thanks. So many apps these days are moving to perpetual pay instead of one time payment. But there is no need for that. An alternate exists. Look for “packing lists” and find the app with the work “PACK” in white letters simply listed in the app icon.

   All of my old trips are gone. I’ve been using this app for several years and normally duplicate my previous trips so I know what I took previously. However, after being forced to update the app, all of my old trips are gone. The dates and locations are visible, but when I try to look at them, they either are uncompleted lists with items I never would have taken (I don’t even have 3 swimsuits!) or ask me to select activities so it can make a new list. Very, very disappointed.

   I have to pay…to use it…at all??. Are you serious? To use this app at ALL, I have to pay for it? $20.00/year when I don’t even know if I will like it is downright ridiculous - frankly, creating a PACKING app that users have to pay for is ridiculous. Yeah, I get that the creators need money. But there’s this thing called making at least SOME features free. You can’t even do that? It is also weird and frankly unnecessary that there is even the option to select your gender. Let me guess: not that we can even SEE what this app would list under each category (because EVERYTHING is locked behind a paywall 🙄), but I bet that if you select female it gives you a skirt, and selecting male gives you a suit and tie? I saw a response to this stating that you wouldn’t list “feminine hygiene products” for “male”. Okay, I won’t even get into that. Instead, I’ll point out that not everyone gets their period - it isn’t necessary to include for someone who is 60, so by your logic, you should differ by age. How about instead just making a GENERAL packing list, and folks can add to or delete from it? Maybe automatically include “feminine hygiene products”, then if it isn’t necessary, the person can delete it. I have so much belief that a lot of these “favorable” reviews are fake. No way this is rated so highly when you can’t even use it at all for free, not with so many other FREE apps out there. (Seriously, why are we making a PACKING list app cost money at all?)

   Should have a free preview. I downloaded this to see what the basic capabilities are to see if it’s worth paying for. There’s really no free preview. I realize I can pay the cheap monthly subscription and then cancel. But reputable developers will let you try even basic capabilities for free or preview full capabilities for a limited time. Since this developer doesn’t offer either, I must assume the app isn’t worthwhile since it can’t sell itself.

   Here come the ads. The new “Nearby Attractions” is not only unsightly, it’s also very clearly an ad. It’s in the way, it’s too big, and it’s ugly. Users should have the option to turn it OFF. This is a packing app, not an excursion app.

   Used to be great. This app used to be a great app to plan a trip and make sure you had everything. Now it’s all behind a paywall or you have to watch videos to access features. Very disappointing to see a great to go to waste.

    Purchase required. When downloading an app, it would be beneficial to know that in order to use any function of said app, you have to pay! I personally don’t want to pay upfront & then not find the app useful or beneficial & then try to get my money back. There isn’t one thing free on this app!!

    Why do they need your personal info??. I used to use a packing list app from a different developer and it was excellent. But unfortunately the app no longer exists so I tried this app. I was surprised that this app asked me for the dates I would be traveling and also my gender, etc. I don’t want to give any dates that I’ll be gone to strangers for a safety reason. I don’t understand why they want to get my personal info. I just want to create a packing list. So I skipped that part but then I couldn’t create a packing list unless I would have to pay for the premium version or to watch ads. I’m willing to pay for a good app but an app like this should be worth a few bucks for one time payment. But the price they are asking is ridiculous. Because you know, how many times a year would you use an app like this?? My previous packing app from a different developer was for free, and again it was excellent. So I was very disappointed by this app, especially this app had a relatively good reviews. This app is a no for me.

    Subscription? Big no.. So this app is either $1.67 a month to use, or it’s $50 for a lifetime subscription. I would’ve been all in to purchase it for $10 maybe $15 for, but $50? No thanks. It’s become totally weird to me why so many developers are so $$ hungry that they either try to lock you into a subscription so they can continuously make money off of you, or charge some insane unlimited fee. I say save your money, make your own to do list on the iPhone into a checklist for items you want to pack, save it, and use it over and over. This is a joke.

    Looks good but DOESN"T work well. No way to view lists for family members despite being able to add family members. Sync function is NOT a true sycning AT ALL. Lousy app. Really disappointed.

    I just don’t find it useful. It has lists that auto populate based on the length of your stay, weather, etc but I really want to just attach my own things in addition, reservations, activities, restaurants. Maybe I just don’t understand this app. And it has nothing to explain it

    Ridiculous pricing. Not $3, but $3 a month. Super annoying setup where you can just start making a list, you have to put in dates, destinations, and type of trip. I’m looking for a packing list app that lets me input my own lists. Keep it simple.

    Not paying annually. I’ve been using this app for many years and I’ve been very happy. I only use it once or twice a year and it was free before. I don’t mind paying to keep the app but now it’s wanting me to pay $20 a year. I would be happy to pay $20 just to have the app forever but there’s no way I’m going to pay that every year.I’m very disappointed because I really liked this app

    Went to crap. Used to be great. Now it’s just ads. How can an app about packing have so many ads? It’s insane. They also deleted all my old packing lists, so I can’t even reference those. Time to find another app.

    Unusable - wasted time - disappointment. I created my trip, selected the categories and when I submitted to continue, it gave me the option to either pay $3/mo or $20/yr for premium or watch an ad. I opted for the ad, because I hadn’t gotten far enough into the app to know if I like it. The full screen, 10-second ad counted down but then it was done, the ad wouldn’t close! The little “x” was there in the top right corner but it didn’t work. I closed and relaunched the app twice, re-created the trip (because it wasn’t saved), and the same thing happened. I could have written out my entire packing list on paper in the time I wasted trying to make this app work. So disappointed.

    Bad app. I wanted to try out the app to see how it worked. No matter what activity I chose it pushed the buy-pro. I deleted the app. If you can’t give it a test run to see how you like it, I’ll try another app
