  1. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Can't even work this anymore. Redownloaded this. Lifetime user, used this in the past. So many new features that I don't even understand how to use the app anymore. Why would I want the timer to be on a calendar? I don't want a half assed planner in my timer, I want a timer I can easily figure out how to adjust- which I cannot. Beyond the little quiz in the beginning it seems impossible to adjust the times of focus and breaks- and if it isn't, I'm sorry your UX is traaaaaaaaaaash. Overly complicated.

  2. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Just give me the timer. I'm just looking for a pomodoro timer, what's with all the questions?

  3. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

bloated. you flooded this app with unnecessary features and premium. it’s a timer.

  4. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Bloated with unnecessary features. I miss when apps just did what they advertise. I remember using this app back in the day as a useful simple timer app to track study sessions. Downloaded it today and it bombards you with 10 minutes of survey questions and bloat, constant popups. Just give me a goddamn timer, stop trying to farm me for data. Deleted

  5. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Missing basic functionality. I reinstalled this timer to get some work done and it no longer does what I want it to do. It gave me a long unskippable questionnaire about my ability to focus and I can’t even find the basic timer anymore. (25 on, 5 off x4) That is the only feature I am interested in. And I’m not looking for a subscription payment. Also, the app’s been buggy. Last time I was actually able to access the timer, the live activities timer on the homescreen wouldn’t update consistently.

  6. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

ADHD lifesaver. Love this app, helps me so much Rated it high but it locked me out and erased all my progress. I paid for this app it’s not cheap. I have emailed company I am waiting for response on restoring my account or refunding me my 70$ . Will update my experience with emailing and dealing with company .

  7. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Went from simple and usable to nosy and obtrusive.. This used to be a good app, but now it’s full of nosy questions I don’t want to answer, demands for app permissions I don’t want to give, bonus features shoved in my face that I don’t want, and promos for premium services I definitely don’t want. I just want a friggin pomodoro timer, not an enterprise focus management solution.

  8. ★★★★crashes, freezes and errors

So buggy. I keep trying to adjust the time interval and it won’t let me.

  9. ★★★★privacy and excessive permissions

app update introduced invasive privacy issues and time wasting questionnaire. This went from a simple, useful, pomodoro timer app to some kind of life coach. It asks questions and requests expansive permissions to things like Screen Time. The app has become a time and focus waster now that may be monetizing your privacy. I plan to uninstall.

  10. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Poco útil. Todo es pago es horrible

  11. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Don’t free trial this app. This is a scam

  12. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Used to be great.. I’ve used this app for years. It was simple, reliable, no-nonsense, and quite practical. It was simply a timer that I used for reminders. Every 25 minutes it would chime for different reasons. That was it! And it was free. Now this is a completely different animal. I didn’t ask it to give me all these options and to intrude into my calendar and become my secretary. And I didn’t request to be charged for anything extra. I just want to keep using the free timer! If they would keep the free options as it was and offer all the other stuff for whoever wants it, that would be logical. But the original thing that existed for years and years is gone. Thanks but no thanks! 😡

  13. ★★★★trial charges and refunds

Wanted to try it but it charged me for a free trial. Fr

  14. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Could not find way to cancel subscription before end of free trail and was charged. Was charged 79 dollars despite no way found to cancel subscription in app

  15. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Too Greedy. Way too many features locked behind a pay wall. Can’t even customize any timers or create your own without paying! Absolutely ridiculous.

  16. ★★★★trial charges and refunds

Used to be great. Years ago purchased the Pro “lifetime” version of this app. Today that meant nothing so I decided to try the seven day free trail and was instantly charged 13 dollars for new features that are useless and distracting, and not inline with the original premise of the app. Do not fall for the free trial instant charge and a total waste of money.

  17. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Pay barrier. Costs an expensive subscription

  18. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Absurdly over complicated. There is nothing offered for the price that justifies all the bloat

  19. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Bait and switch?. I’ve loved this app and used it for many years, but today when I updated it I suddenly had a new and completely different app, Pond. I found I could download Focus Keeper again, but now I would have to subscribe to use it. Years ago I paid for this app and its simple and useful features, but now I need to pay monthly? I don’t think so. That’s pretty aggravating.

  20. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Used to be great. When I first got this app it was clean and simple, just a timer basically. It was great for me & my ADHD. Then they started adding "options" and I stopped using it because it's hard for me to make decisions and my timer app making me make decisions is like the opposite of what I need in a timer. I just opened it for the first time in months and it only got worse. I just wanted a thing I could set and it dings at me after a set period of time, i don't want an app that has like workflow tracking or whatever is going on here. I wanted an app that helps me not burn out while doing chores, not one that's actually adding to the mental workload I already have. This was super disappointing and distracting. Deleted

  21. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Use Focus-To-Do Instead of this App. They up the price even for original/Legacy luckily l had another app that’s identical to this one, but instead of a subscription it’s a one time purchase..

  22. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Stupid high price in 2026, look elsewhere. Between 2020-2025, this app worked flawlessly for my simple needs. Now in Jan. 2026, the app is trying to charge me $70/year (best price) in order to make basic setting changes. AGREGIOUS considering what this app is being asked to do, which is very little. There are so many pomodoro type apps on the market at this point. I would've been ok paying $30/year, but good grief $70???

  23. ★★★★crashes, freezes and errors

Broken since recent update. I’ve been using this app for YEARS and never had a single issue with it until the recent update. The loading screens cycle every time, half the time the app freezes completely. So disappointing

  24. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Disappointed in Recent Changes. As a paid subscriber to this app, I used to love it. The pomodoro timer was incredibly simple and easy to use. Over the past two years, the amount of “extras” in the app has made it incredibly bloated and difficult to use. The “plans”, “achievements”, and “focus shield” have made the experience of the app way more clunky. Too many clicks, too many notifications, and too many glitches have left me really disappointed in what the app has turned into. At this point, I’ll most likely not be renewing my subscription and searching for an app that is much simpler in usage and has less fluff.

  25. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

So overpriced now. I've used this app before, it worked great, that's when it was $3.99/month which was relatively recent. I come back to check on it and it's $12.99/month. I just don't trust the judgement of a developer who jacks up the price that much, looking elsewhere...

  26. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Overpriced Timer App. Overpriced for what it is. There are free Pomodoro timers on the App Store that accomplish the same goal. Don’t waste your money on this.

  27. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Update deleted all my categories. Why!!!!!!!!!!!!

  28. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Another subscription gimmick. I purchased the upgrade for this app years ago back when it wasn't a subscription—I "successfully" restored my prior purchase but I'm honestly not sure which features it actually unlocked because 90%+ of the settings are now paywalled behind an exorbitant subscription. This app used to have a much cleaner UI but still highly functional/useful. A lot of the changes since then just seem like gimmicks to market as "features" for a subscription. There are much better alternatives available these days in terms of both utility & value.

  29. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Almost Useless and Good luck opting out of the so called trial. Did not find app very flexible and cannot figure out how to opt out of the trial

  30. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Block List doesn’t work. If you set it to block all apps it will, if I try to allow for a single app usage like Spotify it just break entirely and allows for random app access. Really a meaningless feature
