   Paywall. I love the way the app is structured around being able to log your catches like it’s Pokémon go, I genuinely believe it’s super creative plus the identification is accurate. The problem is that everything this app offers is behind a paywall and you need a subscription for literally everything.

   Doesn’t even work. App doesn’t even work, you try to scan fish to upload the photos and it doesn’t work. Absolute trash app and waste of money. Would not recommend.

   It’s not working. I’ve paid money to use this but it says sign in to Catchr, and it wants me to use my apple account to sign in but when I click on it it says I can’t use an apple account to sign in to another domain. I think It scammed me

   Pay wall. I don’t even know if there is a free version. Every time I try to make an account it pay walls me and the “x” to close out just pulls up a “discount.” I just want to use the free version.

   Couldn’t Even Use The App!!!. I tried to set up my account, but before it allowed me to finish, it forces me to buy a subscription. It won’t let me click off of it. Total waste of my time.

    Thought it would be a free app to record fish. It is not.. This app is not useable without subscriptions. Doesn’t at all say a subscription is needed but I cannot get beyond the set up of the app without making a subscription. No features are available to me whatsoever.

    So far a dud. Well, I want to like this app, however, after paying for the subscription, (which I wouldn’t mind if the app was working properly) I cannot upload any catches. I’m not fishing right now, so I tried to upload some recent catches from my photo library. It tries to analyze my catch, but gets to “finalizing identification” and gets stuck. Hopefully this gets fixed quickly. 2 recommendations. 1. Have a function where you can manually upload and label the catch. 2. Have an offline mode where internet is not necessary to upload catches, some of the places I fish have little to no cell signal, so being able to upload without internet would be helpful. Look forward to trying this again when it’s working properly. Thanks

    Don’t like the subscription. The whole app in itself doesn’t look bad and I want to use it but I just can’t subscribe to a subscription there is parental controls on my phone. PLZ FIX 🙏

    Paywalls are dumb. Been seeing this app everywhere on the socials and was excited to use it. It’s kinda criminal that an app is free to download but you gotta pay a monthly subscription to use. It makes sense with the whole Ai identification deal. But for those who understand what different species of fish look like we don’t need that Ai identifier option. Please make a free version for peeps who just wanna log fish, have fun and are able to go back and look at what they caught in years past.

    Disappointing. I’m sure the app is great but I just don’t feel like paying and you cannot get past the paywall💀. I click the X to decline and it then forces you to accept the discount or get stuck in another paywall loop.

    Lost two accounts now. You pay money for the app but if you get a new phone or get logged out there’s no way to sign back in and you lose all your data. Not worth the risk and time in my opinion.

    Ridiculous. App is completely locked behind a paywall of at least $20 or their 7 day free trial. It’s a complete money grab and a scam. A fish identifier app should not require you to pay this much money just to even access the app for the first time(without their free trial)
