   Their trial is a scam!. I tried this app with a trial, but it really does little more than record and transcribe using a basic notepad—features your iPhone already offers for free. I cancelled the trial immediately after my first use and even responded to their exit survey. To my surprise, they still charged me a full year's subscription despite the cancellation. ‼️‼️‼️‼️Don't waste your time on this product—choose a genuinely useful app managed by honest people. 📍

   Updated - Starting with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Noted started out as a fantastic, fairly easy-to-utilize app and as an early adopter I didn’t have to pay the full ‘premium’ price they it’s at now, but even then, I had to pay to continue to use its ‘upgraded’ features. -⭐️ I appreciated the ability to dictate and type notes at the same time, although this feature has been available in other apps for sometime and the interface was difficult to navigate and at times the entire app just gave up and crashed. -⭐️ I recently came back to try Noted out again and was pleased at first with the overall experience until I went back and listened to the recordings taken and quite literally couldn’t hear my own voice even though my phone was next to my face while recording. I thought maybe this was a device error so I used other devices and the results were worse. -⭐️ At this point I stoped reviewing as I am quickly running out of stars and hoping the devs correct this. What killed it was the fact that you can’t hear the recordings taken. Result: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ - ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ———————— = ⭐️ ⭐️

   Deceptive likely, intentional, misleading business practices > unintentional $89.99 purchase.. Downloaded this app today, opened it up, tapped through a couple of initial welcome screens, then got a splash page with a couple of options—one for a $6.99 subscription with No trial offered for the $6.99 monthly there is a $89.99 option but that’s considered a purchase not a subscription charge clever ain’t that something?, The affirmed $89.99 yearly plan shows in front of it something like “seven day trial/free with the “+.” This is intentionally deceptive. There’s no need to get a trial. Everybody already has one. The goal I believe is to confuse people into spending $89.99. They didn’t intend to. Shame wants a refund. I’ve submitted a request for a refund through Apple, if necessary, I will dispute the credit card transaction, I have reached out to the company support as well. By the way, the instructions they give you to cancel your trial let you nowhere. It doesn’t show up in subscriptions in iOS settings and when you look at your Apple ID account it shows a purchase BBB report if not refunded

   Application Continues to Lag After Update. I received a response from the developer saying the app’s bugginess and extreme slow response were fixed with update 6.0.7. However I’m on update 6.1.6 and I have not experienced any improvements. The app remains not functional. Hoping they can get this patched soon as I pay monthly.

   Terrible experience. I paid for one month of noted so that it could listen to and take notes on a video course I’m taking. It has yet to transcribe a single audio recording. Waste of time and money.

   Holding my notes hostage. Used this app years ago and it was great. Downloaded it again to record a lecture, which it let me do in the basic mode which I’ve always used before, but now won’t let me access my recording unless I pay for access. This is very deceptive as I’d have just used something else if I knew I’d have to pay a minimum of $7 to access my own recording, which it’s holding hostage. There’s not even a way to access my data to download if I delete the app. I’d give zero stars if I could, can’t believe an app I used to rely on and love would be this shady. Would have been fine if they’d just said up front that playback is paywalled.

    Betrayed by the company. Used this app for four years, have loved it the entire time, but now the company is doing away with free accounts entirely and I’ll lose access to everything if I don’t pay. It’s scummy, it’s wrong, it’s anti-consumer, they will never get a penny from me.

    Notes has AI but all it does is circle around 0% completed. After paying $40 for the permanent Notes license and downloading the better AI language model to transcribe my voice into my note or my draft the AI transcriber just runs a circle and tells me to keep the page open but shows no progress.

    No automatic transcription of recording. Not a fan…. I’ve downloaded a recording and have no notes associated with it. The app is not intuitive or easy to work with or figure out. The guides are incomplete and you have to purchase the noted plus to figure out if it will even work. Kind of hate it.

    Documentation inadequate, and program layout poor. I found the program documentation totally inadequate. The programs layout is not appropriate to its purpose, and the various functions are not self-evident. In addition, I want to cancel my order, made today, but there is no clear path to do so provided by the program or by Apple.

Hello, I bought your life program for $35, to extract video content into the WordPress format, The video was extracted in writing, but the result was very bad and not done to Arabic with anything, I want to get my money back because I didn't take advantage of the program and the program didn't do the promised extraction of the right Arabic language and so I didn't benefit anything from it. In the application, it is still stated to me that the e-mail does not exist in the app with a picture of the purchase invoice and images of the bad extraction result, how i get back my money? I want a refund, i have pictures as approved for anything I say

    Not worth the 34.99. I paid for the lifetime price and i highly regretted it. I should of tested it out first but that’s my bad. This app is not what I was expecting, where I would record and be able to generate a AI transcript. Well, not so great when two people are talking ( specifically translating , I. E English to Spanish and vice versa) I can see that it has high potential, but not there yet. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this app

    It’s not free, there are zero free features whatsoever. You simply cannot use this app at all unless you subscribe. So the fact that it’s editor recommended and listed as free is a complete joke. I can’t even look at the interface without choosing a subscription, which I have zero interest in subscribing for such a ridiculous price when this was marketed to me as a free app. That means there should be at least ONE free feature. I open the app and am immediately met with a pop up that has no X to exit from that says to pick a sub. Don’t be conned by these con artists. They know exactly what they are doing. They want you to accidentally forget you got the free trial for their app that is a glorified voice memos. Which you have for free on your phone babes. Not worth it
