   Terrible company. Download the two PDF and the app said that I downloaded for then told me that I had to pay. Tried to delete my account on the website and it wouldn’t allow it. I’m starting to notice how these companies are making cancellations a hassle just shows how desperate they are.

   Glitches all the time!. This app would be an absolute game changer if it worked. It is constantly glitching and the buttons don’t work. I used this for 2-3 weeks and it was great. I was able to get my entire test materials on RemNote and was on track for my test. 5 days before my test the buttons on the app suddenly stopped responding. I’ve tried updating and deleting the app and nothing is fixing the problem. So I’m stuck with a worthless app right before my test. Do your research before you use this app. There are countless Reddit threads about RemNote glitches. I should have used an app like Anki which is more reliable.

   I really wanted to love it. I genuinely love the web version on my laptop so I was excited to find out they had an app where I could review my flash cards on the go but it has been such as frustrating experience on mobile. I can’t even get through 1 card without it telling me it needs to refresh. I even tried using the web version on my phone as suggested by others but it still faces the same issues. I’m just really disappointed

   Waste. Hated this app, my friends boosted about it, too many glitches and freezes constantly had to reupload documents constantly very time consuming try something else not for grad students maybe for someone who has the time to waste instead of studying

   Is good but glitchy. Taking notes on my IPad gives a lot of issue it glitches a lot while im in class and it causes me to fall behind with all the glitches. It does retain the info but with it lagging and having a lot of problems. It makes it hard to appreciate the app.

    Buggy and not useful. The app keeps crashing when i open it. When it does work (rarely), it proves to be very unuseful. Also, i use it on my ipad and it is quite difficult to navigate on it. The interface is more optimised for mac and pc. The flashcards are really weird because instead of a card, you type them in a sentence.

    it's great,but it has a little bug in my ipad. When I want to highlight a sentence using “cod+c”,it has no reaction.but it works well in my mac.so I think it’s a bug,I hope remnote becomes better and better!

    Great, but…. Dental student here. Wonderful app for flashcards, integration of OCR for PDFs, and typing notes. However, the inability to manually write notes or even place a text box, on the PDFs (like most every other note-taking software) is almost a deal breaker.

    Better Free Tier. The free tier is way too limited. They should make all the pro features server based instead of feature based. I.e. features that require server should cost money but all local functions should be in free tier. Otherwise feels like a standard system whereby they cripple software until you pay. Can never compete with anki until this is addressed. Also charge money for the mobile apps. That is another way to make money. But don't cripple the software.

    Broken. Whenever I click the daily note option the app crashes. It asks me to reload which does not help. Closing/killing the app does not fix it. I have to delete and reinstall totally. When I’ve reinstalled, it happens again. Unusable in its current state. This has now extended to the browser in safari as well. iPhone 14 pro max issue it seems. I love RemNote btw. Please fix.

    Would be good without bugs. I enjoyed the app on my computer, but since i can’t lug that around all the time I downloaded it on my phone. It is EXTREMELY laggy on phones and it breaks, especially when scanning documents. I wish i could use it more easily.

    The app feels overloaded and flimsy. Im coming back to RemNote after a long break from using it (I used to be an avid user around 3 years ago). I keep encountering issues in usability. Here are just a few: (1) When editing a flashcard, I may leaving the app to reference other content, then when returning to the app, I suddenly have been exited from the edit wizard, and can no longer find that card. (2) There’s also no way to disable the swipe feature for flash cards (e.g., I may accidentally swipe). Also, if a user is already required to tap in order to reveal the answer before being able to swipe, swiping actually doesn’t provide any convenience if you think about it. Requiring two different motions is a throw off. I don’t like the feeling my finger can accidentally slip and incorrectly rate a flash card (3) searching for a rem doesn’t bring you to a rem. It brings you to the parent rem, and then you may have to scroll thru a hundred different children rems to find the one you’re looking for. (4) I wish the “read only” decision for a document is saved for that document (so that it’s still read only when returning), or that it’s more accessible (i.e., doesn’t require 2 clicks to trigger it). I feel like there’s a hundred things that can accidentally go wrong while simply navigating the page. Like if I fat finger a button, suddenly my document is going to implode or the formatting is going to screw up (I am just overwhelmed by the number of new features). The UI just feels way too crowded and there are too many features accessible at once (too much information, interface is not clean). (5) for some reason I cant select the first word after the arrow by double tapping on it; the selection glitches out due to the arrow (;;) maybe? I am on iOS 18.6.1 on iPhone 16 pro.

    Does not open on IOS in Lockdown Mode. Took my own troubleshooting to figure out the app doesn’t work if you have lockdown on IOS it needs to be disabled then the app will work. I even emailed RemNote with videos of app not opening and they had no solution

    constant bugs and obnoxious ai. Look i love remnote, but they roll new features out that are super buggy and then it makes it impossible to use sometimes. Which is a problem because as a student i work on deadlines and when you have all your notes in one place it’s not fun for that to have issues. also the new ai is just obnoxious, and even though I have it inactivated there are issues with me accessing pdfs bc of that. I wish they would take their time rather than releasing half-baked concepts all the time.

    great app, but wish there were a few more features. I have used this app for a while now and really like the ease of quickly making flashcards while getting spaced repetition. However, I do like to use various forms of studying and really wish there was an option to export my notes as a PDF, I’ve tried to on word docs but it is not useable for me; I want to be able to draw, highlight and connect concepts in my handwriting with the notes. I really wish that was option. I also wish there was a notification reminder for due dates, that would be really helpful when setting dates for assignments or quizzes. I understand there is notification reminder for flashcards but I am referring to assignment dates. I have tried the print to pdf option but I am having trouble bc it won’t let me do more than one page which is weird. Another kind of annoying thing is that I have unsubscribed to the notification emails and they keep coming to me. I’m not sure who to contact.

    Love the concept & features, dislike the execution. Let me start off by saying that I absolutely adore the plethora of features offered by this app, it has made my life as a stressed-out premed student a little more bearable. Having ways to organize my notes while creating flashcards to test my retention of material has been incredible. With that being said, I have several concerns with how this product is implemented on iOS/iPadOS (the latter of which I am currently using). Here are some of them listed out: 1. Clunky movements and transitions. There are several performance issues I’ve encountered related to extremely laggy movements while switching tabs or running commands to create new cards. I’m on an M1 iPad Pro (12.9”), so I know that the device is capable of processing these commands, but the way it’s coded does not run very smoothly, and has led to some frustration while trying to quickly organize my notes 2. Problems with the visibility of writing space. This occurs when pulling out the keyboard. Occasionally it will block me from seeing the text in front of me while I write. This has discouraged me from using the app a lot. 3. Absence of writing tools for Apple Pencil. I also own the Anki Mobile app, and I really like how the developers have implemented writing tools that the iPad comes preinstalled with, so I can write out my organic chemistry reactions and then create flashcards with them. It is a very convenient way to maximize the amount of classes I can use these apps for. I’m a little surprised that you have not included this as an option yet, but then again I’m not a developer and have no idea what the implications of this would be. That’s the bulk of what I have to say about the app. If I were writing a review on desktop I would have given it 5 stars, because I really do like all of the features, but the mobile app for iPad is barely functional for me and does not seem to fully take advantage of its capabilities. Hopefully you take my concerns into consideration for future updates.

    Still a bit glitchy and slow. I absolutely ADORE RemNote!! I’ve been waiting for the mobile app! But the mobile app still needs some work. After working on my laptop RemNote app and having everything sync, I found that the mobile app was still behind. What is more frustrating is when I logged onto a browser on my phone, RemNote was perfectly synced. Kinda makes the mobile app a moot pointless… Still a huge fan, just not of the mobile app right now 🫣 I’m hoping the mobile app will be smoother in the future.

    Not very intuitive so far. I followed the tutorial, but I’m still confused. It says to tap on the flashcard icon, but it doesn’t show you what it looks like. I’m having a hard time adding flashcards. To me it would be more intuitive if there was a « done » button when writing the flashcard.

    LOVING RemNote so far!. I started using RemNote for my pathology exam and it’s been very helpful. I love being able to do my notes and create flashcards at the same time. I do wish that the $10/month subscription included more AI credits—I didn’t realize how quickly one could go through them! I don’t want to spend more than $10 as I am a very broke graduate student. BUT, otherwise, I am extremely satisfied with this app!

    Issues. I am having issues the tabs on iPadOS. I don’t like how it is showing the new added tabs under the Daily Doc tab. Can you fix this by having the tabs be right next to the daily doc tab?

    Bug ever since the update on iOS only. I love the app and I’ve been using It ever since but I have ran into a bug that it freezes when I open the app. It works perfectly fine on computer. I just can’t run it on my phone. It happened right after the update.

    great app. It works best on pdf but only on desktop, so I really hope the developer can improve its tablet experience, say drawing on pdf with iPad.
