   So frustrating. I can’t get to printer. Once or twice I’ve accidentally found it trying every thing, then can’t get to the same place when I try again.

   Tricks You Into Subscribing. I appreciate apps that are transparent about what is free and not, and doesn’t waste your time thinking you are using free features only to hit a limit and have to pay a ridiculously high price ($99??) to continue. Wordsmith is not that. I write poems, many of them short. After spending time moving poems from a Google Play store app (that was free) to Werdsmith, I got a notice saying I only had X documents left for free. $99 when many other writing apps out there are free, and the only people who possibly use Werdsmith are the wealthy. Sad this only markets to a certain class.

   Was good... sucks now. Too expensive to use. Paid for it years ago and now they want me to pay over $100 just to have a monthly subscription for it. 🙄 no thanks. And as for your updates maybe you should make an update to the price and lower it. Y'all don't offer much to be charging an arm and a leg when there are better apps with way lower prices. App works fine. Does what a notebook app does. It's the price that people hate and it's making y'all lose money and loving customers because at this point charging what y'all are charging is showing that y'all are getting greedy like every other company on the planet.

   Trashy Developers. I first PURCHASED this app when it initially came out. Now, I cannot use it without paying for a stupid subscription that doesn’t offer anything that the app didn’t already give. It’s an absolute ripoff by a bunch of greedy fat-cats with their hands out wanting freebies, providing nothing of value in return. Edit in regards to the statement that was made by the developer: OF COURSE I TRIED TO RESTORE. Fact is, it didn’t work because you guys decided to screw people over out of greed, just like everyone else that gets a little money.

   Would've been great without the AI.. Would've loved this if it didn't have an AI feature. I feel like that completely diminishes the point of writing for yourself when you can just tap a button and it'll generate writing for you. Love the formatting and the word count feature, but the AI is keeping me away.

   Ridiculous. I remember using this app a few years back and loving it. Can’t believe now you gotta pay $99 for AI and more features. There’s not even a monthly subscription you can pay. Don’t get me wrong, the look and feel of the app is great, but the creators are out of their minds for charging that much. Go to Scribd instead. Or any other app instead. Jeez. What a joke.

   ridiculous. just wanted an app to write on. I really like the formatting on this one, the color scheme, and the way it justifies text in comparison to other apps, but I definitely don’t want to pay $99 for those simple features + AI (which I don’t need). you can’t do much of anything without the app prompting you to subscribe. they should offer more plans based on what users are looking for.

   This app is trash. Don’t believe the reviews this app is subpar. They won $99 for a app. That really does nothing has no features. You could literally get ChatGPT to do the exact same thing for free zero stars.

    Literally google docs if you don’t pay. I downloaded this app and deleted it the same day because I saw really good reviews and advertising but the app is nothing like that. If you don’t pay 100 DOLLARS A YEAR it’s literally just google docs with a bad prompting feature. All the fancy and cool features that are supposed to help you write cost money and if someone wants to write they shouldn’t have to pay to get help doing so. Maybe I just judged this app to fast but from my perspective I think you could literally just get google docs and chat GPT a prompt for free instead of downloading this app. If the app was free then I would love it but I’m not paying for this and your probably thinking “well that’s your problem” but I’m going to make my opinion public and think what you want it’s my opinion. Ty for reading this is you got this far.

    I mean….. I mean it’s fine but like it gets annoying with the previewing novel mode and all the other ones sure it has the ideas tab but like other apps do to I don’t wanna get basically a add for premium just to write a book I can just do this in google docs…….

    Another App Ruined by AI. This used to be my favorite app, but the inclusion of “Ghostwriter” turned me off, given its suggestions are scraped from countless pieces of other people’s writings—maybe even those in Werdsmith. At least AI growth is hitting the inevitable plateau so maybe companies will stop investing so heavily into it. I hope. Also LOL at that subscription price.

    Frustrating. I want to use this app but when I try to subscribe the only option is a week trial then 99 for a year. Even though in the App Store it gives the option for monthly. How do you just get monthly?

    Awful. I purchased this to help with formatting a book. The app on my Mac constantly shuts down and gives and error code. My projects are not syncing between the iPad and computer. The options for formatting could be better. For a paid app, this was the worst purchase I’ve ever made. I tried to get my money back as it wasn’t loading at all at time of purchase and support for the app said there was nothing they could do. Do not purchase!

    I don’t need a ghost-writer!!. I enjoyed this app for one year but one thing that really upsets me is them forcing their ai-tools on us. I DO NOT need the prompts, I just need a distraction free writing space. Will not be re-subscribing because of this.

    Limits and Confusion. I like Werdsmith, but there are a few problems. One, the free plan is very limited. I get needing money but putting limits on the number of projects is something I really disagree with. There shouldn’t be a limit on how much you can write. I like themes, but I don’t really mind not having access to them, however, I believe that the screenplay and novel modes shouldn’t have a limit either, or at least should be given more time to use. Second, the paid plans aren’t descriptive enough. I don’t know what I get for free and what I don’t because there is nothing to tell me the difference between each. This happens in a lot of apps on the App Store where creators don’t give the details. Then you’re stuck downloading an app that ends up disappointing you once you use it because you didn’t know what you had beforehand. All in all, the limits are ridiculous in my opinion and the plans should be more descriptive about what you get in the free plan vs the paid plan.

    It just stopped!?. I used to have this app back in 2021 I jested it to write every weekend one day it tried to make me pay to write in my projects. And the ghostwriter good feature but I can only use it a couple times I need help sometimes please make ghost writer free I stopped useing it and deleted it please fix that!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😳😳😡😳😳😭😭😭😭😭😭😡😡😡

    I could NOT find my project or prep to print!!. I found an option under “share to…” as a means to export my manuscript as a .txt or .rtf file, and also as a .pdf, but could NOT find them to send for printing!!! I’m using another word processor that isn’t collecting my data, which is another selling point to me, because I’ve heard stories of writers’ manuscripts getting hacked, and I greatly value my privacy. My Intellectual Property is MINE. I will NOT tolerate hackers or plagiarizers.

    Worst update. I’ve been using this app since 2018, I think, and everything was perfect but now there are lots of bugs here and there. I can’t keep writing at some point because any project would skip to the beginning. Also words turn black sometimes and I have to rewrite it. But the main problem is that instead of ordinary text everything turns into a set of symbols. Can you fix it please?

    Update Causes App to Bug Out. The new visual changes are just … hideous. I could probably learn to adjust but whatever they did has made the app bug out constantly. In the middle of typing, the screen bounces randomly to some previous point forcing me to stop writing and scroll all the way back down. Or it jumps to a blank screen, causing mild panic to think I’ve lost all my work, and forcing me to restart the app. Glitchy. Buggy. Ugly.

    Expensive for a typing app. Google docs is free. Google docs has much more versatility and is free to use. I want a refund and won’t be happy without one.

    Used to love this app. This app was the first to get me to focus and write an entire chapter in my entire life. I always got stuck on paragraph 2 in other apps. HOWEVER. Taking away my ability to write more pieces by only allowing me THREE MORE DOCUMENTS? I'm sorry, I love you, but I can't afford this.

    I Was So Excited. I was so excited to use this… After two paragraphs the microphone stopped working, which was a bummer. I didn’t even get 1/2 use out of it. Extremely disappointed.
