Charged but didn’t subscribe. I was charged for this app AND charged for some $30 add-on too and didn’t purchase either one. Apple refused to refund so I got stuck paying for something I didn’t even subscribe to. I downloaded the app and as soon as I saw I was going to have to pay for it i deleted the account & then deleted the app off my phone. I’m very angry so curious people beware. Apparently just downloading it can glitch and charge you.

Disappointing. App is inaccurate at counting calories, which is disappointing when that’s the sole purpose of the app. What’s worse is they wouldn’t refund me even though I requested within 14 days of purchase. Don’t waste your time

Uses deceptive sales behavior out of the gate. I liked the branding of this app. It’s cute! But make sure you read the critical reviews first. For me, having car lot sales techniques including a “spin the wheel” is a big red flag. Foodvisor uses deceptive gated “candy crush” style sales techniques including “prize wheels” and time limited offers to car lot you into purchasing. The refunds only apply to monthly subscriptions. Customer service is AI only. This is an app with a lot of AI and advertising behind it. Avoid.

Payment required. You have to pay

STOP. I got sick using this app, please stop it’s not healthy at all !
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
14-day trial is a lie. Despite the company’s instance that you can get a refund if canceled within 14 days, this is not the case. Refunds are at the discretion of Apple, but Apple does not honor this policy. Foodvisor will not issue refunds. False marketing for sure!

AI heavy. Your use of an AI bot to answer Customer Service related questions and issues is very obvious in these reviews. There is no interest in actually solving the problem, just a polite “Sorry about your luck” in so many robotic words. I’m not going to waste my time.
- ★★★★★support does not respond or resolve the issue
Lack of customer service. I want to rate this app well since I do enjoy it. Unfortunately I have received no response from customer service. I contacted them twice a week apart. They have had weeks to respond and have not.
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
No good. Can’t get an answer from stupid “contact us “ bot.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Lies. Says money back guarantee if not satisfied with the upgraded version. I’m not satisfied. I tried to get a refund they denied it. So I’m out of the money and stuck with an upgrade I’m not happy with.

$90+ App - Misleading “Free Trial” That Isn’t Free. Read Before Downloading! Don’t get scammed!! RESPONSE: you want more specific details?! Are you kidding me! You have entire email chains with ALL of the details, weeks of run around, and from AI bots to human advisor after advisor saying there’s nothing you can do. All in UNDER 14 days of paying for a year of the app! If you want to solve it, start there. And as to suggestion that’s “it’s my feelings” that the process is difficult, then I suggest anyone look up the access to cancel PRIOR to purchase. Turns those “feelings” into facts real quick. … Foodvisor advertises a free 14 day “trial” depending on where you find their promotion. What they don’t tell you upfront: you are charged $90 for the full year the moment you sign up, before your “trial” even begins. Canceling is deliberately buried in the app, making it nearly impossible to find and you can’t “cancel” you have to email, request to cancel, wait and then be directed to Apple, because you bought it in the App Store. And because the purchase is processed through the App Store, Apple is not obligated to issue refunds… so that $90 is gone, no matter what Foodvisor advertises. There is no “free trial.” There is a paid subscription. Period. I paid the $83 app, and a $30 add on, and while the add-on refund denial makes sense, I only had it for about a week before requesting to cancel. Not an option. On top of that, every feature this app offers can be replicated for free with any FREE AI assistant. There is nothing here worth $90+, and certainly nothing worth the deceptive experience. Save your money.

Loses Logged Data. I have logged my activity and weight multiple times and the app just loves to delete it. It’s hard to stay accountable when your accountability is constantly being erased. I paid for the subscription I kind of expect the product to work. Very disappointed.

BEWARE before purchase. I have several issues with this app. First, I wish I read the other 1 star reviews before trusting their “free” trial. When signing up for the trial, it tells you that you need to pay for the year up front and then if you are unhappy with the product you can submit for a refund through Apple… well, I was unhappy and I submitted for a refund through Apple on the FIRST possible day (you need to wait until the payment is processed until you can submit for a refund). And it was denied. When I tried to contact support through the app directly, I was given a chat box to bring me right back to the Apple page. Secondly, the reason I wanted a refund in the first place, is that the “premium” features are very minimally different than the non-paid features. Additionally, the “AI” tracker is often incorrect, and even when correct (or manually corrected) it severely underestimates the calorie counts.

Refund/Customer Support. Trash. I contacted the same day I downloaded this app for a refund. The customer service is a bot and will repeat the same message over and over. I contacted apple, no resolution. The bot at Foodvisor support said to reach back out to the Foodvisor app if I need help with getting my refund. There is no was to speak to a human. I need a refund for this app!
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Money back is NOT guaranteed. "Premium" was misleading. I expected full access once I paid the yearly fee, however, the meal and workout plan are sold separately. Refund is at Apple's discretion. After multiple attempts contacting Apple support, my claim was denied. Be cautious when downloading.
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
calorie counter is WRONG. why do people like this app? it pulls up incorrect information on barcodes and photos. even when you try to correct the facts, the AI again pulls inaccurate information. it also feels like it is judging you. this app is negatively impacting my nervous system and spiking my cortisol. so far, I HATE IT.
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Fraud. This app advertises “free trial”, refund guaranteed within 14 days— is misleading. They will charge you and refund is pushed via Apple’s discretion. After multiple attempts and even calling and speaking to an Apple support, it was denied. Please be cautious when downloading.

Unrealistic goals. The app was expecting that I would lose 9 pounds in a month- that’s more than two pounds a week on my petite frame. I wanted to lose like 17 pounds over 6 months. 2 pounds a week would be an unsafe calorie deficit for me.
- ★★★★★trust in the number is a tracker's only asset, AI trades it for a guess and the product…
Bad! Don’t waste your $$$. Do not waste your money. This service is time consuming. It requires you to decorate a stupid leaf and go on quest. I’m here to lose weight and improve my life not waste time playing childish games. If I wanted a game app, I would’ve downloaded one. The customer support is just an auto bot. And the food ratings are only calorie based and it actually will applaud you for making negative food choices. For example, a shot of tequila is a better choice than an a piece of fruit. Absolutely useless and a waste of time.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
No access. I upgraded and paid for the premium subscription and have have not been able to log in since. Would have been better off keeping the free version. Changed password and still cannot get into app.

Calorie Counter is Wrong. This app is a scam. Every time I take a picture it massively undercounts how many calories is in my food. I have to calculate my own calories at this point because it thinks the rolls of sushi is 200 calories total. This app has a long way to go before it is good. The idea is good but the execution is terrible.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Really regretting paying for the year up front. Not user friendly and isn’t able to pull actual nutrition facts from national chain restaurants.
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
My “free trial” cost me $14.99. I wanted to try this out and stupidly clicked yes to a free trial. I was immediately charged $14.99. I tried canceling and explaining but Apple denied my refund request and it impossible to talk to anyone from the app. This is theft and I will be contacting my credit card company. DO NOT TRUST.
- ★★★★★aI was put IN FRONT of the log, not beside it
Useless app. Go for “Cal AI”. Much better app, with correct calories. This app has a horrible list, full of duplicate food with calories all over the place. Not worth the 3x the cost when compared to “Cal AI”. I asked for a refund and was denied too, so don’t even bother spending the $80 here. Just go for $30 with “Cal AI”.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Don’t use. I purchased the $6/month package. They charged me $90 for the paid yearly package and I don’t know how or why. I can’t get in touch with anyone and the ai bot says I can’t be refunded. Don’t use this app.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Doesn’t work. I paid $100 for this apps subscription only to find out I could have paid as little as $2. They didn’t show me more options. After paying and using it for a month, the app stopped working and deleted all my progress and made me start over. I wouldn’t recommend this app.
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Misleading trial period!. Buyers, BEWARE!!!!!!! I signed up for this because it clearly offered a 14 day money back trial period. It also stated the annual price and quoted a monthly price, too. It never gave me the option to select monthly or annual and it billed me the full year charge of $83.99 plus tax. I cancelled after a couple days as it wasn’t what I was expecting and I won’t be using it. This was will within the 14 day trial period yet I was not given a refund and Apple Store has denied it as well. This company does not stand behind what they offer. Buyers, BEWARE!!!!!!
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
Camera function not working. Good app except the camera function doesn’t work and if you take a picture and forget to say done it doesn’t save the food log super annoying
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
Not good. Incorrect calorie count makes the application useless. It gives people the illusion of eating the calories they should even though in reality they are way over (which is more dangerous than not tracking the calories at all).
