   Doesn’t back up. I’ve used this password manager app for a while but it’s time to find a new one. This app recently changed its icon, so when I was cleaning out old apps from my phone, I deleted it. When I finally realized what happened, I found it on the App Store and downloaded it again. I “restored” my info and passwords but the data that was “restored” is very old data. None of my recent passwords are there, which renders this app useless to me now.

   Beware, this version may disappear one day!!. I used the Silver PAID version for 10 yrs with no problem. Suddenly this developer decided UPDATE and to eliminate the app without updating to work with current iphone IOS. All thousands of us who had used this lost hundreds of passwords and stored info. He gave us NO WARNING to retrieve and backup our info!! I would never trust this developer in any app! Buyer beware!!

   Neglected, no more update. App always crashes.. This app has been neglected or maybe abandoned, no update for over 4 months. Currently, I’m using iOS 17.1.1, this app crashes a lot when editing or trying to add new entry. It’s a matter of time when it becomes unusable with iOS updating constantly. Take your password elsewhere.

   Chinese Developers REFUSE to give Access to PASSWORDS. You have to ask yourself why would the developer of this app and its now defunct predecessor REFUSE to update the predecessor app so thousands (at minimum) of people can access years worth of passwords again?! It seems easy enough to either update this new version to enable it to restore from the previous version into this new version or simply update the previous version to be compatible with ios 14.5 and above! Developer is CHINESE and likely loves the control over Westerners. And don’t be fooled by the email address listed. It bounces. I and countless others used the original version only to be shut out without warning and have lost years worth of not just passwords but account information, personal information, medical history information and more. Because the developer could care less and refuses to update their old application. The control over people is what this CHINESE developer wants and got with the prior app (which is essentially identical to this one). UPDATE THE PREVIOUS VERSION SO WE CAN HAVE OUR PASSWORDS/INFORMATION BACK!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS DEVELOPER (and shame on apple for taking ZERO RESPONSIBILITY AND DOING NOTHING TO HELP DUPED USERS)!!! Use ANYTHING bur this app!!!

   Do Not Use, Do Not Buy. I’ve used iPassword for over 6 years. It had all of my passwords in it. When apple update 14.6 came I updated my phone as usual. I tried to get in to iPassword and could not get in. I tried to update my app and it says the developer needs to update it. I thought it was a glitch but it wasn’t. I took to social media fb and Twitter. Only to find that at least 2 months prior this developer had stopped updating that version. It was apparently because he was making this version. Many of us have pleaded with him through fb messenger and Twitter to update so that we could get our passwords. He has not responded and has not updated. Here we are years later and still nothing. This app is by the same developer. I would not trust or purchase from him. Apple can not or will not help. I was told that we had to contact the developer. I thought that all apps on apple platform had to answer to apple’s rules but apparently not. I had the paid version of iPassword it worked fine just like this one. He should not have been able to have any apps on their platform after what he has done to so many. Pen and paper is looking better everyday.

   RANDALL. I had used this Password app for many years satisfactorily. When my IPhone upgraded to IOS 15.5 I received a message that Apple would no longer serve this app and the developer needed to update it. I attempted to contact the developer, but all contacts were unanswered. I had two long on-line chats with Apple support and a in person session with its Genius Bar to no avail. I backed up all my passwords on ICloud but the Genius Bar said they could not be downloaded? This may be the updated version of the original I used, but I am still unable to download from the ICloud. I’ve lost all my saved passwords.

   Crashes no app update. I had this app for years. Suddenly, the developer stopped updating the app and developed same app with a new face-a vault picture. Every aspect of new app is same as old. Since they won’t update old one, I lost everything. Now they expect you to pay a one time payment AGAIN for lifetime! I paid it for last app and obviously I out lived that app. I have tried to email developers through app and the email is no longer in use. Haven’t been able to contact anyone! If they update and transfer from old app to new app, they’d get 5 stars, until then zero! Don’t trust them with their “lifetime” crap because they don’t honor it!!!

    Do Not Trust this app. They quit updating the older version and so many people got locked out with no way to retrieve our info. They did nothing to avoid their users getting screwed over. I lost ALL my password info. So I was surprised to see the same app back alive and on the App Store. But I warn you DON’T DO IT!!! Because when you least expect it you will get locked out forever when Apple does an update and this creator decides to quit updating.

    BEWARE - 7 YEARS OF PASSWORDS LOST. Developer decided to abandon old password manager app and roll this out without a warning to all of the old users that we would not have access when iOS was updated. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS FRAUD. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP.

    Horrible Experience. I had the previous version of this app. The developer created the new version and locked users out of the old version so they can’t access their user names and passwords anymore. There is no option to update the app to get the information. I’ve lost access to important passwords with no fix and no response from repeated attempts to contact the developer. Don’t trust your information to this developers apps because you won’t know when you may get locked out of it!!!

    Not Compatible with IOS 14.5!!!. After updating to Apple IOS 14.5, the original app from this developer, which I PURCHASED, in 2013 now will not work and gives the ERROR “iPassword needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of IOS”. So now the same developer has changed the face and name of the app but the app its-self is the same. I was extremely pleased with my purchase UNTIL I updated my devices to IOS 14.5. I lost all my data going back to 2013. This is not acceptable. I was unable to contact the developer. Until this is remedied, I strongly suggest you DO NOT use this app. I will be happy to update this review IF the developer makes this right.

    Needs to be updated. I have had this app since 2016. I have not had any issues getting into my passwords. However since the new ISO updates. I have not been able to get into the app. There is also no way to get in contact with this developer. So I hope someone that help resolve this issue fixes the problem. Again other than this issue this app is great.

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP. The developers publish new entries of this app with different icons instead of updating the existing version. The result? When an iOS change requires apps to be updated, you will be out of luck and the will have lost all of your data. I have seen these guys do this twice. The contact email that they list is invalid so there is no one to contact for support. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP AND DEVELOPER.

    Do not get this app. Developer can’t be trusted to update app. Version I purchased was not updated to work with latest version of iOS. Lost all my passwords. Do not trust this developer to do this again. Developer unwilling to assist in recovery. Easier and more profitable to force everyone to repurchase or install new replacement app. Developer not trustworthy.

    DO Not Use this App!. Someday when you update your phone's IOS, you will no longer have access to ANY of your passwords. The app will not open! Don't waste 7 years of your time adding passwords only to update and never gain access again. The developer of this app doesn't care, neither does Apple. I had the paid Pro version! Please use something more reliable than an app!

    Needs updated to work with newer iOS. Doesn’t work with the forced upgrade to iOS version 15.0.2 on my iPhone 11. Message says developer needs to update it. Wonderful ! I have now lost all of my passwords for the last 10 years !

    Beware: Your passwords may be lost at the next iOS update. A previous version of this app became inoperable after the iOS 14.5 update without warning or any developer support to retrieve password data. Most users lost all stored passwords.

    Don’t get this app!. I used to love this app! When the last update to the iPhone came out, the app wasn’t working. Well now that it is, I can’t restore my pro version that I paid for and every time I email them, they never respond! I feel scammed.

    Developer does not support previous version. I was using iPassword religiously and thought I was being responsible and I depended on the product. iPhone update 14.5 and I lost access to all my passwords.

    So angry, don’t trust the developer with your data. Have been using this app for some time, nothing fancy but works. In the new IPhone Software update, all of a sudden and without any warning, the app no longer works… it doesn’t load cos it doesn’t work with the new software, and there is no new update available. Have been super frustrated with the after mass as you can imagine. The developer should be banned and ashamed of themselves for this outcome!
