Horrible. Lame and I have to pay crazy amount for most useless info. -3 stars

Great app/ poor support. I was offered a one-year subscription at no cost as a onetime offer-time promotion. I attempted to redeem the offer, but the offer couldn’t be processed due to the AWS outage. Once the outage was resolved, the promotion was no longer available. I reached out to the developer for and, after nearly two weeks, was told there was nothing they could do. The app itself is excellent, but I deleted it — I won’t support a company that refuses to stand behind its promotions or assist loyal users in good faith.

Same Sex Couples. The app has an option for same sex couples but doesn’t make the app generic. Still references “mom” in the app. I was hoping with that option it might replace mom with something generic. I get it you make the app for the masses but I saw the option and got excited. They could provide option to replace the term with surrogate or birth mother.

Good for a while then tanked. After 18 weeks you have to pay to see anything more than the first page. Would have been nice to keep the same free things the entire time. Will be moving to another app. Thanks.

Unhealthy.. New fathers… DONT GET THIS APP. My wife and I are expecting our first baby very soon. She suggested this app to me months ago as she uses similar apps. Her and I now both regret it. This app is extremely anxiety inducing. When I talked to my wife about it and showed her what this app was telling me, she was APPALLED. This app just makes a soon-to-be father feel worthless. It’s degrading. It assumes you’re going to be a terrible father before you even get the chance. It actually started to separate my wife and I emotionally. After we talked about it and will soon delete the app, we’re right back on track. If expecting fathers are reading this… you matter. Your feelings matter. It’s tough for both sides. Be there for your wife, yes. She’s dealing with much more than us. But don’t let something like this dumb app make you feel worthless. See ya “Hi Daddy”. I regret wasting money on you.

A year ago, I would’ve recommended this app…. I got this app a year ago, with my first kid. That kid unfortunately passed, but my wife and I got a pregnant again this year. Naturally, I re-downloaded the app to keep track of our new child (as I write this, we are nearing the end of our first trimester). There was an in-app offer for a returning person (me), and it was a one time offer of almost 90% off for the year subscription, then it’s back to $40. What a deal! So I took it… and it is still “pending” my purchase two weeks later. I thought their might be a bug, so I forgot about it. Just today, I took a glance at my child’s progression, and the app reminded me that I could do a 7/day free trial. I figured I’d give that a go, cuz I could cancel it later. I didn’t want the $40/annual plan, just the $7.99, should I decide to keep the subscription after the free trial. Well, it not only take my $7.99 (pending), but it also took my $40, pending also!!! So that is THREE—count 3!!—different pending payments, one of which is two weeks old and counting!! Needless to say, I am very disappointed in this app. Every time I try to view or click things, beyond just someone see the main page of my child’s progress, an *error* code pops up, reminding me of the current situation I’m in. A year ago, I would've recommended. Now? I’m looking for another app…

Going downhill. Look elsewhere. We had our first baby in 2021 and this app was great and free. Since then it’s gone downhill and the only way to have a good experience is to pay for their subscription

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. There is “advise” every day, from the baby to the father, is not advise, you’ll feel literally your “baby” commanding you on what to do, “dad do you think you’re tired? Well, mom is even more, learn how to do dishes, laundry and iron cloths” what??? No that I’m against of doing something as I love finding ways to be more supportive with my wife, but an app/baby telling you what to do?? Feels to me that a mom that had not support from dad at all wrote down everything down
- ★★★★★cross-device sync is unreliable
Doesnt sync. Doesnt sync with mom or share anything from hers. Buttons dont work half the time. The before child seems to work for moms but as dad nothin seems to work on my end. Very surprised to see so many 5 stars. Maybe doesnt work with iphones idk. Not happy with it at all as its completely useless on my phone

Tone deaf. You’re sending the wrong message with comments like this: “Hey Dad, I know Mom has gotten big and is sore and having a hard time breathing and and and and. But it is still important for her to get a moderate amount of exercise. It will shorten both her delivery and recovery time. Try taking her out for short walks to keep her fit and spend time together.” How about you learn to support and advocate? Maybe educate more broadly on birth plans? Realistic recovery times? How to clean bottles and pump parts? How to support PPD/PPA? How about that for and and and?

Crap app. Crap app. No real usual information. And no easy way to cancel subscription. They clearly want you to be stuck paying them.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Yeah okay. It has some useful information. But still I paid 5 bucks to be talked to like I am doing everything wrong and I get less than half of what she gets. Even my partner said “they don’t like you”. Stuff is “IGNORANT “ I would rather have my money back.

Poor synchronization. My wife has the himommy application and asked that I get this one. Initially the app was okay, but as soon as we synced I was reverted to week one. I looked to see if there were any updates or if anyone had been working on a fix for it. In fact, the Dev’s have attempted several updates. I attempted to send an e-mail to the developers and it was never delivered. WASTE OF MONEY.

Not synchronizing. This app would not let me synchronize with the hi mommy app. Please either help synchronize my account with hers or I will have wasted time and money on an app that does not work correctly.
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Still not synchronizing. It’s a very fun app to track the pregnancy period. Could have had more option than just the daily tracking. What is bad however is the synchronization with HiMommy. The baby is already born and it still is giving me daily updates of what is going on in the mother’s belly, while she updated that she has already gave birth. It’s also bad that I can’t manually change it too.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Empty app. I paid 2.99 thinking I would link to moms app and have fun interacting. There is nothing in this app besides update on size of baby and moms mood. Can’t add pictures. Can’t journal. Can’t do anything. I don’t need an app to know moms mood. Disappointed because her hi mommy app is so detailed.

Terrible App - Not Worth The Money. This is a terrible app not worth paying for. The weekly updates are barely a few words. The daily updates were written by a disgruntled mother who had an uninvolved husband / partner. Every day, the app tells me I need to be more involved and need to treat my wife like a queen as if I already don’t. Not helpful and not made for already involved dads who actually want to learn more about the baby. DONT PAY FOR THIS USELESS JUNK UNLESS YOU WANT NAGGING DAILY REMINDERS OF THINGS YOU’RE PROBABLY ALREADY DOING.

God bless you all.. My wife and I bought the HiMommy/HiDaddy apps. There is absolutely nothing about this app that makes it worth 2.99. Many other apps do much better for free. (DaddyUp)
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Gendered content, shiesty link sharing. The app my wife got was free. The link she shared with me had asks you to pay. They should be upfront that their free app is sending a link to a paid app. I bought it because I thought my wife wanted me to, so would like my money back. The content is also very gendered. My wife sees the baby as the size of a bilberry, where mine she’s the baby as the size of a screw. The “naughty child” mode is loaded with uninspired sex jokes. I love a good dirty joke, but their jokes are below bazooka joe quality. Hot garbage. Look elsewhere for a good pregnancy app.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Does nothing. Paid $3.99 for an app that provides 3 pointless sentences every morning
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Insulting. This app is insulting to dads to be. It presumes that all men don’t want to be a part of the doctor visits - literally, it accuses you of that. It actually says it. Worse than that, there’s a point where it says that if you take the mom out then she owes you sex. It’s incredibly cringeworthy, I wish I could post screenshots because it has to be seen to be believed.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Bad and gross app. The tie in to my wife’s HiMommy app didn’t work. I paid $2.99 to have this stupid app talk to me “from my child” and make creepy sexual innuendos constantly. I know comedy is subjective, but I would not like to meet the type of guy who found the content of this app funny.
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Bad data, Misogynistic, and negative tone. The developmental data and corresponding dates are all wrong. There is an overall sexist and really negative tone. Daily captions are not useful. Not a good app for parents. Don’t waste your money!
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
Dude, this app blows. Totally useless. Should have spent my 3 dollars at the bar

Apps off by 2 weeks. I’m a medical professional.... Apps off by 2 weeks when calculating from the due date. If it were to be adjusted then it would be awesome. It appears they have the timeline correct considering development for weeks post implantation. However, when calculating from the due date the timeframe appears to be from fertilization and not implantation. It can be complicated but look into it. I’m correct, bummer..... Example, my wife is due Sept 6 2020. It provides development descriptions that are 2 weeks ahead of what is happening (week4 vs week2). Limbs develop week 4-5 post implantation. The app indicates she is this far along. She is not. She is 2 week post implantation with her last period starting Dec 2nd.

Inactive developers. Wish they would update this and fix the issue so
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
Inaccurate information. This app has inaccurate information and congratulates me on finishing first trimester. That is completely inaccurate.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Negative Stars. There is ZERO help section in the app, my wife invited me and there is ZERO way to sync these, change dates, or do anything else meaningful with this. Pointless. Not at all user friendly... and cost me $2.99, but was free for my wife.
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Waste of Money. This app is a complete waste of money! The time line for development is off by several weeks at the least so it does not give accurate information for the week of pregnancy. It also speaks to dads like they are idiots! I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone.
