   Worse Experience. Worse experience with a host and turo was zero help. Host let me drive on expired tags, gave no directions for drop off. Turo doesn’t support customers simply done with this company. You can always tell the turth about a company when things go wrong, how do they stand behind their service. Horrible.

   Horrible cancellation policy. I had a trip booked several weeks in advance just for my trip to be cancelled by Turo because my license couldn’t get verified. I paid 891 dollars never even seen the car, Turo refused to give me a refund then put a restriction on my account for disputing the charge with my bank. Horrible policies and blatant fraud.

   Discounts. I give discounts for three days and up for reservation then turo take 10% for non-refundable discount AND THEN TURO TAKE ten percent for their “maintenance” fee thats approximately 50-70 % off all reservations and it tale a toll if there is one day rentals

   Not happy. Signed up for a car and was restricted for no reason what so ever. An now I can’t sign in to the app. Never used the app before never booked a car before.

   Every car smells of smoke.. Turo is too light on punishments for people that smoke in hosts cars. Causes problems for renters and for hosts as they’re left cleaning up the mess with little recourse. Turo doesn’t have an option to filter for smoking cars or know that cars smell of smoke so it’s just a gamble. And I haven’t had one not smell yet. At least with a normal rental company you can just go get another and not be stranded.

   Guest damaged our car but turo chose to ignore it. A guest damaged our car and we have witnesses. Turo does not protect the rights of the host. Don't choose this terrible company.

   Dissatisfied. Looked up cars near my airport that I was landing in and booked a car. Just to find out the car was not near the airport but and hour and a half away. No care or understanding and NO REFUND. It not like I canceled close to the date I canceled a day after I booked. Not happy with this app would not recommend.

    No recourse. I am a driver by profession with a clean driving record, and I was barred from using the app because of a “failed screening,” when I attempted to create an account. If a professional driver is unable to get approved, it makes you wonder what kind of screening process Turo is using. Nothing legitimate.

    Unable to stop Ad notifications. Decent enough app but I get so many irrelevant push notifications advertisements. I might reinstall if I find a rental worth while but otherwise my desire to not be interrupted with ads that are meaningless to me calls for deleting the app.

    Did not wor. This app consistently did not allow me to rent a vehicle. I input my informations several times and each time my verification was denied or I got an error message. Over the age, payment is good, and no license issues. This app is buggy and FAQ/chat help did not help.

    Absolutely awful experience. Absolutely awful experience, hidden in the details was an extremely low mileage cap by a renter. Ended up charging me an extra $2.95 a mile for a total of $1,300 dollars…said he could not change the limited miles he allows in the app then wouldn’t wave the fee or reimburse. Then had the audacity to file a claim for scratches on his truck that were already there and is clearly shown in the pre picture. Be ware of the Turo scammers. Make sure you look for things like extremely low mileage cap.

    Refund Inflexibility. Was very surprised at the inflexibility of getting a refund after needing to cancel my reservation three weeks in advance. Received a “nice“ note from the host, hoping that we see each other in the future after no longer needing the rental. I had to alter my trip and was no longer going to that city yet was unable to get a refund and effectively gave the host $350 for nothing. Probably won’t be using Turo again.

    One concern the rest is fab. I’m a platinum member on most rental agencies, if that tells you how much I utilize high end rentals and so I’m new to renting on Turo but I too was host when Turo first launched so things have scaled and so far in the 4 rentals I’ve had some “bumps in the road” and Turo steps in right away & took care of the situations and even checked in throughout the duration of resolving it. You get to speak to a human 24/7 someone answers & that’s huge gain unlike other competitors with AI ivr like systems that never lead to a real human and you’re all frustrated. Only suggestion and concern I have is tighten up the review process of hosts & status of their vehicle, maybe this is already in place but verification of ID with a selfie should be mandatory for not only the guest but for the host too. A host showed up and was not the same person photo’d in the his profile and I’m sure not the same name and the vehicle was not standard at all with misleading description and pics. Turo did handle that extremely sufficient and took care of coordinating a replacement for me on my end as a guest. Pricing is high on some days but deals are where they encourage longer rental dates. Vehicle selection is good mix for all shapes and taste and the app is user friendly. I like that your chat doesn’t disappear when you exit to check something and I like that you can message previous hosts afterwards in case there was an issue that needed resolved.     Nice ride and host. Nice car and Awesome ride !! However we caught a flat on the highway and had to wait for 5 hours for AAA because these no spare . I found out that day that a lot of new cars don’t carry spares anymore Had to go To nearest tire shop and got new tire
