   Change the display name. Useful app. However the app icon shows up on my Home Screen as “5K” which is not specific, unique, descriptive or ultimately helpful. Please change the display name to Parkrun or something similar.

   Sort out the font. Went through it for 10 minutes and had a headache by the end. It needs toned down a bit. Also the home screen is awful, you should be able to edit your own home screen

   Will this app ever be updated again?. I see parkrun are working their magic again. Their last official app was abandoned when they couldn’t get it to even open without crashing. Is this one heading the same way? I suspect development by committee.

   Request for Immediate Removal of the Ulster Banner from parkrun Materials. I am writing to formally request the immediate removal of the Ulster Banner (flag) being used to represent Northern Ireland in parkrun materials. The Ulster Banner is a loyalist symbol that was discontinued in 1973 and no longer has any official status. It does not represent me, nor does it represent many people who participate in parkrun in Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland does not have an ‘official flag’ ,and the continued use of this banner is both inaccurate and exclusionary. parkrun presents itself as an inclusive, community-focused organisation. Displaying a politically charged and historically contentious symbol undermines that commitment and creates an environment where participants may feel unrepresented or marginalised. I am therefore asking that this flag be removed immediately and replaced with a neutral alternative that reflects parkrun’s stated values of inclusivity and respect for all participants. I would appreciate confirmation that this issue is being addressed as a matter of

   Downhill recently. The app really has gone downhill since it was bought by parkrun. Much buggier, with data sync issues becoming more frequent. Additionally, event numbers now don’t sync until Mondays for some reason. Should be brought back to how it was.

   Most user unfriendly app in existence. If there was a “no stars” option you’d be getting it. Having switched to another phone and uploaded the app I am now without a barcode. I have entered into the most Kafkaesque of situations where, even though I’m registered, my name doesn’t come up on the list and it says to add your barcode you need your name or barcode. It asks you to sign in but there’s nowhere to sign in. I went to the website dnd to sign in you need your ID which, it turns out, is in your email. But nowhere does it say where your ID can be found. I had to Google it. I’m beyond frustrated. I stood at the finish and it took four people trying different ways to find my name and barcode. One of them managed it eventually but had no idea how they did it when asked afterwards because the process she had gone through was so convoluted. Why can THEY find my name and barcode and I can’t? It’s crazy. It’s really good job that Parkrun attracts so many very friendly people who are prepared to help others out because this app is a bloody nightmare . So today can be summed up with Q: “How many people does it take to find and use a barcode?” A: “6. 4 trying their damnedest, one runner standing apologetically to one side and another waiting a bit awkwardly to zap it”

    Brilliant to start with, brought to its knees by peer pressure. This app started off brilliantly as a way to encourage people to keep coming to parkrun through its unique challenges. The recent removal of the number challenges however is yet another example of the few complaints of the very few who want to spoil the parkrun experience for the many. With so many parkrun even promoting the Fibonacci or Nelson events, the evidence is clear that the overwhelming majority will share this view. Parkrun should backtrack this decision, or it will lose attendees, which is what it sounds like they’re aiming for

    Login. I am never able to login to the app. I try to press where it says login but nothing happens. Soo annoying, when it used to work it was ace and I loved it shame that’s no longer the case.

    Terrible headings in latest update. The new challenge headings are terrible. They are overly large. At minimum they should be dynamic based on a users display settings and size. How did this pass accessibility before it was released?
