   Disappointed. I decided to try their free versions before possibly buying the $29.99 app. I will also add that I have a brand new pro iPhone, up to date, no issues with any other apps, immediately after opening the app and trying to test out the prompt feature it crashes. Not only on this one but the other one they also have for free. Safe to say I will not be buying the paid version.

   False Advertising-useless. App claims you can record up to 3 minutes — but you can’t record at all without paying. You’re not offering a ‘lite’ version, you’re offering a fully locked one. At least let people try it before charging. This was a complete waste of time.

   Apps does not work as it should. And I keep running into the issue that is start to shut down on me. Only after 5-10 times clicking the app it stays open again. And then when done with a script and press the back arrow to select the next script it shuts down again, this is over and over. Also the 7 day trial then appears at the top while I have a monthly subscription already. Also, I have tried everything including logging out and in, logging out on all devices except mobile where I used it on, also several times deleted the app and re-installed, but same issues stay. So all in all I am unhappy about this; I mean this is what you get for $19/mo?

   The “Lite” version is useless. I downloaded the lite version of the app to test its abilities before paying the (Outlandish) $30 for the full version. I guess I won’t be purchasing it because the lite version has so much disabled that I couldn’t get a good idea of what this app can do. Everything that is useful is disabled, and the user is limited to 3 minutes of speech. Too bad. I’ll have to give someone else my money.

   Thanks for wasting my time. I downloaded the lite version to practice and give a speech and prayer at my daughter’s wedding. All of a sudden my work is gone on the latest update. I get everything reloaded and now it tells me I’m limited to 3 minutes unless I send them thirty bucks. I find your practice distasteful and underhanded. I cannot recommend the product because of this.

   Unpredictable - Stops working suddenly. This app suddenly stops scrolling. I tried it several times and it stopped scrolling abruptly. Bad app which can harm your career if this issue leads to a horrible presentation.

   Can’t get voice to work. I keep hearing how great this software is, so I downloaded the lite version to see if I wanted to pony up the $20 for the Pro version, but I can’t get the voice control to start for anything. I really wanted to like this over other non-voice activated ones that are pretty nice and easy to use, but it’s just not cutting it. I really wish they would give a fully functioning demo period to use the pro version to see if it works, but if this is the demo, it’s not cutting it.

   Doesn't do the one thing it advertises.... The app asks for permision to use the computers microphone and camera but it doesn't scroll when speaking. I've looked through all the settings and it appears pretty much every option requires a paid subscription.

    Auto-scroll?. The main feature that I wanted this for was the auto scroll. It simply didn’t work!

    Don’t Even Bother. I got this to use for my podcast. Ever since downloading it, it hasn’t worked properly once. It says it supposed to follow your voice and after the first or second paragraph it stops following it. It has not worked correctly one single time since downloading it.I spent more time starting over and doing retakes because of this app, I just gave up on it and went back to the app I was originally using. The unfortunate thing is that app doesn’t follow your voice but then again neither does this one. I’d give it zero stars if I could because it has been nothing but frustration and a waste of time! I actually was going to buy the paid version and decided not to. This app doesn’t even work properly so why would the pay version?

    Great, until it wasn’t. I picked up this app a few months ago, and it worked wonderfully. Easy to read, it followed my words intelligently, and I was able to quickly and easily upload my scripts. Unfortunately, all of a sudden it will no longer initialize my voice prompts, basically negating its primary function. I now need to manually advance the words - and that does not work. Hopefully, this is just a big and the next version will fix this bug. Do not get this APP, it does not work

    PromptSmart Lite Teleprompter can’t record. This app might be good but the Lite version does not let you record video (nor did I see audio). Looked like all the features were only in the Pro version. Simply it’s a waste of time to try the Lite version don’t bother. Developer should be more explicit as to what features are blocked/ enabled in the Lite and Pro versions.

    "Voicetrack initialize" does not work on ipad pro 2018 and latestest IOS version. Tried loading a 2500 word script and after 15 mins, it never would voicetrack initialize. Deleted script and loaded new script that was cut down to 1/4 size and still would not initialize. Tried deleting app and reinstall then typing in a parapgraph, same problem, would not voicetrack initialize. Tried loading one more script that i would type in manually again but the lite version seems to have reached its limit? It simply prompted the Buy Pro popup screen. Would be nice to actually give the customer an opportunity to test the lite version.

    Fails when you need it most. I used this to give one of my speeches for school and oh boy did it disappoint. When I had finally spent hours rehearsing my speech and had fifteen minutes to record my final five minute speech it decided to completely malfunction on me. From not scrolling for the first five attempts it was infuriating. This app seems great but fails to execute so many times. It grew extremely irritating when I would have given the first three minutes of my speech perfectly only to have the app malfunction. I grew more and more desperate for it to work just one time through and time and time it would malfunction. It was because of the errors that I had to turn in my final speech with me scrolling on one part and then just when it seemed like I was in the clear it stopped scrolling and I had to go off memory for the last five sentences leading to me missing a few lines. I have tried to keep my response professional sounding but it was difficult considering how absolutely infuriating it was for the app to continuously malfunction. I am telling you if you are thinking about using this app for presentations to either start filming hours in advance or find an alternative.

    Freezes at voice initialization. I tried every import format and even just copy pasted but the voice initialization where it attempts to recognize your voice to the words is not operational. Why would you pay for a broken app.?

    Can’t get it to work. I can’t get this app to work at all. Uploaded my script, hit record and it does nothing. No recording, no scrolling. Seems the lite version doesn’t work.

    Can’t record videos. I don’t see the point of this app - the lite version doesn’t let you record videos. Why else is this useful? Am I missing something?

    I don’t get it. iPhone 8+, does not work in the least. Allowed mic access. Doesn’t scroll with the sample text, nor any test text you create. Bug..? Broken..? No idea, not for me.

    Don’t Update. They took away the blue highlighted area in their new update. Most likely to get people to buy and subscribe to their PromptSmart Pro and PromptSmart Extended. Do NOT update if you’re enjoying how it works.

    TERRIBLE PRODUCT. I have tried using this twice. The first time it worked well. I tried to use it again 10 mins later and it won't scroll or recognize my voice at all. I've been trying for an hour. Nothing about the environment has changed from the first to second time. TOTAL CRAP product. Glad I didn't purchase the Pro version since the tech is totally unreliable.
