   Too buggy. So buggy. Words jumping doing the scrolling like they having a seizure or something. Then the output of the video is doing the same thing. Glitchy. I restarted my phone. Made sure I have plenty of space nothing is working

   Customer service is terrible. Customer service for this app is terrible. Recently tried to use video in the background, but was unable to do it, despite the filter allowing for it. Asked for help, messaged with Brian. He wasn’t aware what his app looked like, and continued to claim my screenshots weren’t from his app. Had to prove this (which is ridiculous), then he blanket claimed they don’t support it. If you don’t support it, why is it part of the filter? The app is good otherwise, but better apps are definitely out there.

   Constantly disconnects. This app was a complete disappointment. It has lots of five‑star reviews, so I assumed I could trust it. I was wrong. I tested it at home after downloading it and subscribing, and it seemed to work fine. However, when I arrived at a very important video shoot—where the president of a company needed to read from a teleprompter—the app decided it was the perfect time to start disconnecting. I was using the app on my iPhone to control the iPad running the prompter. I should be able to connect them and not worry about losing the connection. Once again, I was wrong. We were about to begin filming in ten minutes when I noticed the iPhone app was no longer responding. I tried reconnecting to the iPad, and it did reconnect, but it wouldn’t scroll the script. I tried again, and although it reconnected and briefly controlled the iPad, the moment I closed the window to access the correct script, it stopped working. This continued for several minutes with constant disconnections. With only a few minutes left before we needed to start filming, I frantically downloaded a much better app from Teleprompter.com, which actually worked and did not disconnect. I strongly suggest not downloading the Teleprompter app I am reviewing. Whatever method it uses to maintain a connection between a phone and an iPad is unreliable. I was fortunate to be able to download the other app in time—if I hadn’t, the situation would have been very bad.

    Hinky as hell. Doesn’t connect, loses formatting. When it works it’s amazing.

    They removed features to force you into subscribing. I used to use this app because I could mirror and use with an actual Teleprompter. They removed that feature and put it into the subscription model. These people suck. Update: I stand by what I said. Any company that does this does suck. Something as simple as flipping dialogue backwards shouldn’t be behind a subscription. We are entering an age of capitalism where companies purposely make their product worse so they can trap you into a slow drip of monetization.

    Useless, everything is behind $60 paywall. Recent update made text mirroring a paid feature. No thanks. It’s useless now unless you pay $60 per YEAR.

    Unable to download. I did have this app on my iPhone. I saw there was an update so I tried to update. It wouldn’t update. So I deleted the app to try a reinstall. I can’t download it now. It only happens with this app and no other apps on the App Store. I tried restarting my phone and even a different Apple account. I’m on iPhone Air

    Used to be my favorite. Not anymore!. I've used this app for years and I loved it. But, since I updated my phone to iOS 26.0.0-26.0.1 it became unstable and unusable. The developer blames Apple, who does nothing and I'm stuck in the middle.

    Where is smooth scroll. I paid for this app because of the Auto Scroll update, but there’s no way for me to activate it. It just won’t show as an option

    Used to be great. Now it’s constantly force closing and not saving my videos. Huge waste of time, especially when I need to be working efficiently to deliver scripts!

    Would be a zero. I subscribed to this because I need to use it ASAP. Charge went through, but the app still says that I have to upgrade. When I go to try and upgrade again (maybe my card was denied?) it says I have an active subscription until 2026!! This is ridiculous.

    Setting up remote with my iPhone is practically impossible and glitchy.. Not connecting to other iOS device 99% of the time.

    Not usable without subscription. Total waste of time. This app requires either annual subscription or lifetime subscription for access to the “Pro” features. One of the pro features is screen mirroring, which is the only function that is needed in a teleprompter app besides scrolling text.

    Great until it wasn’t. I used this app on shoots constantly until one shoot I couldn’t mirror text. No internet connection that day so just stuck without a working teleprompter. One that I’ve used for ages. Watch out, you never know when this app simply won’t allow you to use features anymore.

    Newest update removes text mirroring without subscription. If you allow text mirroring for free in the other app version, why remove it from this one? Caused a project to screech to a halt due to this ridiculous update. I sure hope they don’t remove these features across the platform…

    Criminal. I paid for the Pro app last year, yet… to my surprise, launch the app first time this year, only to find all my paid for features stonewalled behind a new “PRO” subscription?!?! I have a shoot with my CEO, and now l have no option but to pay more! Great app; Terrible business practice!!!
