   In a word -Terrible. Slow, and prone to bugs. One of the more annoying ones is playing the ads then disconnecting on DVR playback.

   Garbage app. How can you make a flawless hopper program for the physical box and such a trash app for online? This app buffers constantly when I have 400 Mbps internet. Can’t fast forward or even pause without losing the video and audio being synchronized. The guide is so not user friendly. Change the guide setting from all to favorites just to see the cursor went back to the side menu changing it from guide to dvr, sports, on demand etc. Talk to the designer of the hopper box program so they can make dish anywhere identical to the hopper.

   Dish Anywhere App. Still not working right, the time isn’t changing so it restarts the last program you watch. And for some reason I can’t download the app on my iPad now, so now in order for me to watch it, I have to go into the App Store to open it. I can’t even close it out and reboot it. These problems have been going on now for too long,

   This app sucks. I have deleted this app and reinstalled it more than once. When I try and watch live news, it works for about 5 minutes and then freezes and then restarts the show that was on in the previous hour. It is so frustrating. My contact is up in about six months and then I am gone. I am DONE.

    Not working. The recent update killed this app and no longer has anything in the app that doesn’t load anything. Doesn’t show anything in the Geidy or anything on demand or anything in your recorded section

    Horrible connection and functioning. I’ve had Dish Anywhere for years so I can watch games and shows when I’m not home. Every single time even full good wifi or service it never works properly ever. If it does it’s not the right show or has no volume. It’s ridiculous how nothing has changed over years and years of terrible service.

    Sucks 04/07/2026. Trying to watch Dish via the Dish App & it keeps starting from the beginning of the broadcast for whatever show I’m trying to watch. I pay $120 a month for reliable tv & Dish isn’t cutting it anymore… looking to take my business elsewhere.

    How about a real service. 20+ years a customer and when the channels won’t come in I get a representative who spell out BACK because she can’t say “back” in American English and when I asked to speak to a supervisor twice she changed the subject. Every time her “solution” didn’t work she put me on hold to talk to someone who actually knew what they were talking about to give me another wrong move for 40+ minutes. I still have no channels but they took away my service insurance so I would pay through the nose for a physical service tech. Dish was always a great experience. Not any more. Exactly when they signed me to a new contract. Tsk Tsk Dish

    Very disappointed with this app. I primarily use the app to watch my during recordings and it’s awful. I just spent 2 hours trying to adjust the settings on my iPad and in the app hoping to improve the function but it’s still bad. I can’t pause a show, the fast forward has a long delay and barely works. The app just stops all the time and is constantly buffering when it is on. I have other apps that work perfectly for shows including Netflix. I’d expect a better product from a company that charges so much more for programming!

    Edited 3/25/26 - On Demand sucks!. I'm watching an On Demand episode for the second time (back to back because I was distracted the first time). I've already watched the relentless ads during the first viewing. I never closed the episode in On Demand yet when watching again I can't fast forward through the ads .... WTH, no other steaming platform is like this and I pay almost $200 a month. I'm switching to Direct this week. I'm tired of being ripped off by Dish! ----------------------------------- The title says it all. Since updating it simply DOES NOT WORK. I've been using this app for a very very long time and never had an issue until now. Fix it!

    Sucks!. The app constantly is buffering and jumping around. Even when watching dvr is buffers and when you try and fast forward it takes 30 seconds before it jumps. I stream the majority of the shows I watch and this app buffers more in one show the rest of my apps do in a week! So I know it’s not the internet. I like dish but they have one of the worst apps around. Will be the reason I drop dish once my contract is up

    No option. It’s great when satellite goes out on Sunday and you have to wait for a technician to come out on Wednesday to fix it. Which is totally ridiculous and asinine , when we’re paying customers off the service. It’s too bad only one person can watch it at a time when there’s 3 of us and the other two have to suffer. With no TV or anything, because we can’t all huddle around a phone to watch. I wonder , what kinda deals other service providers are offering right now?

    Never Connected to TV. This app will not allow me to connect to my tv to cast. Therefore, the goal of having “dish anywhere” is limited to just phone or tablet. No tailgating during college football season. Highly disappointed. Dish sucks too.

    Run away fast from Dish. First they screwed the the app, and the latest is on their flagship Hopper. They rewrote the guide and eliminated all the useful features, one for example is when setting your favorite channels the system no longer remembers them. Imagine having to scroll thru hundreds of of channels everytime you want to use the guide. I am afraid the company has lost their way and is on a downward spiral. Once the best TV remote on the play. They have fallen far.

    Worst app ever. I try and leave reviews for any product I use, and this is by far the worst app I’ve ever used, especially for how much I already pay for the service at home. I have starlink and am able to stream multiple apps on other tvs plus play online on multiple game consoles all at once. So it’s not my problem that I can’t watch a simple show through this app when that’s literally the only thing I’m trying to do. Nothing else is pulling bandwidth. Zero stars if I could. Stay away. Note: I’m using the app on my iPhone 17 pro max, MacBook Pro (newest model that’s upgraded through Apple, all devices are updated to the current iOS, restarted, app is up to date, using on cellular and WiFi), and also on a fire stick that is the newest model. There is no excuse on my end that this app literally can’t function.

    I do not have Dish.. It was canceled last March. We sent back all the equipment. We never got credited even after I called several times. Please remove the Dish app off my phone. It comes up every time that Dish is my provider and it is not. Would not recommend Dish to anyone.
