Etsy used to be an amazing resource for artists and buyers. Unfortunately, it's been inundated with AI generated "creations" and no way for buyers to filter them out of their search results.
they are not doing enough to remove ai slop and drop shippers. not even worth it anymore, support artists on their own websites
Etsy used to be one of the best platforms. But since they became bigger, their concern stopped being us, the true buyers, the true sellers. It became a disgusting place where is full of scammers, AI and scammers who use AI, thieves of designs.

shipping amounts are ridiculous. for $50 of items , I'm paying 40 for shipping. Will stick with Amazon from now on.
I'm not sure if it's a problem with Etsy or what, but there needs to be upfront information about the shipping before we even get to the final checkout screen. Before making my final purchase, I was going to make a different purchase for $26, but the price doubled at the final checkout screen and it didn't say why the price had doubled up front.
Don't believe it when it tells you that the item in your cart has Free Shipping! They LIE!

Got scammed thrice now. "Requested help". Felt fine since I thought I'd opened a support case in time. Now learning that I just messaged the seller asking for an update, which is not the same as "opening a case" - and that I'm too late to do so. Seems an excellent platform for scamming!
This app is a scam.Nothing ever arrives and everything is expensive including shipping.When u request refund it automatically chooses etsy credit and it takes long time to receive the refund
even though I have had trouble with 3 separate sellers, Etsy has honored my orders and given me credit in a reasonable amount of time.

Never had an issue w/ the Etsy app, until yesterday! Soon as I open the app, I'm instantly greeted with 5 forced-playing videos that ALL play at the same time!
Worse than ever, can't opt out of videos or block shops that sell AI slop or are just bad.
App is terribly lagging. Impossible to update a cart, it takes 20 seconds for. Every. Single. Click.
