   Freezing.. Edited: Developer response said buttons could freeze after consecutive shots is saving in high resolution. That’s junk then. It has never happened until recently and I was a heavy user of this app. I cancelled my upcoming renewal and deleted the app. Going with a different app. edited: developer said recent update should fix issues but still not fixed. Did nothing. Still same exact issue. Unusable. Button freezes after two photos. This is ridiculous. I need this app for my business and for several days it will take s couple photos then the buttons will freeze and I can’t take photos without force closing and reopening many times. I have restarted my phone. Deleted and reinstalled app and nothing. I am going to another app because I can’t have this. Been a long time user but won’t pay again for it. Very disappointed.

   lotsa bugs and regressions. torch stays on when switching to lightbox. if you leave the app while in lightbox and return to app and switch to camera mode the camera doesn't work and you have to force quit the app and restart. every update seems to make this app worse.

   Version 24.6.2, 6 June 2026. Still no fix for known problems. Doesn’t work without internet connection. No button for 5x on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Telephoto button is 2x in Auto but 5x in Manual (even though screen displays 2x).

   Does not work offline. I noticed they showed back up with some updates. So I decided to see if they fixed the biggest issue with this _camera app_. Nope. This app DOES NOT WORK without a connection to the internet.

   What RU doing to this app!?. Update: Dev replied and didn’t reply on addressing either issue. Most frustrating is not fixing volume snap bug. Very frustrating. Now needs connection to internet fuction. Why?! I used to invest plane time to edit now can’t. Using volume snap STILL not fixed after being reported over 8 times. Please fix as rely heavily on this feature. Works fine on native iOS camera app. Y’all ruined the best photo app…

   Needs internet connection to launch. This was my go to camera app for years, it really made the iPhone camera what it could be. However, updates have required it to have an internet connection to work, which renders it useless to me because my main use for it is in an environment without connectivity. There has to be a better way for authentication that can be done periodically when you have connectivity. So now I’m looking for another app.

   Not offline app. You cannot use this app if you don’t have internet access in your phone. Even for the paid customers like me. Is so RIDICULOUS!!!, so if you are camping or in a remote location the camera simply doesn’t open.

   Won’t work when offline. The app has so many ad trackers that it won’t work unless you’re online and not blocking the trackers (Facebook, TikTok, google, a number of less well known). Using a DNS layer one can see it’s trying to reach out for age-verification (on a camera app??) and a bunch of ad trackers. So the app just won’t work if those are blocked or you’re offline.

   Unable to get necessary tech support !. I used to love this app - so much so that I've gifted it. Unfortunately, I feel compelled to leave this negative review because I've been unable to reach tech support to solve a likely common problem. (Your support link does not work.) Although I've granted the app full access to my iOS photos, I've been unable to access them. I've tried the customary fixes to no avail. Please tell me how to fix this problem.

    What happened?!. Why is the app asking for age verification? And why is the app developer information changed? Did the app get sold to some shady private equity firm? WHAT IS GOING ON?!! Update: Nevermind….I looked at the NEW developer’s website and couldn’t find the country of origin or ANY relevant information, so I AM DONE! I AM DELETING THIS APPLICATION AND LOOKING FOR A NEW CAMERA APP! GOOD RIDDANCE AND GOOD LUCK!!

    Fraudulent Developers. Update: Now a CAMERA APP needs to verify your age and claims you have no internet. Yes. That’s how bad this dumpsters fire app is! Despite purchasing the app outright or paying for Pro, many of us were unable to use this app for - literally - months. The developers blamed this on Apple, but it was their own greed. Now it appears Pro works but the app still won’t open up if you don’t have internet - so this scammy app can connect to trackers. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.

    Multiple Errors - Unable to Save Photos to Camera Roll. Update on January 24, 2026 For the past 2 days, I have been unable to save photos to my camera roll. The error message I keep receiving is the following: Save Error An unexpected error occurred while attempting to save to your Camera Roll. I reported this “bug” at least twice since yesterday. Please fix this. I’m afraid of losing all my photos. Phone: iPhone 16 Pro Recently Updated today and currently using iOS 26.2 - Error still received on 1/24/26. Phone: iPhone 16 Pro Previously checked on 1/23/26 with iOS 18.6.2 - Error received. Update on February 9, 2025: After another update, I’ve lost full access to this app, after I paid a large Lifetime membership fee years ago. This shouldn’t happen after every update. I’m subject to ridiculously long ads now. If I want to use the app features more than once, I’m blocked from doing so due to limits. Also, I have the same issues as others. The app takes forever to load, if it does, and needs Wi-Fi to work properly. I used this app for many years, and never needed Wi-Fi. It’s annoying to use an app that won’t load in time, so I end up using the regular iPhone Camera. Ugh. Please fix this mess. Phone: iPhone 13 Pro Recent Update: iOS 18.3 Original review below is from almost 2 years ago (2024): As all the recent reviews indicate, this company has now become very greedy. Up until the recent update, I was able to use all the features. I upgraded and paid a One Time Fee years ago, and thought this app better than the iPhone camera app. Then, it stopped working properly without Wi-Fi access, which was one of its better qualities. The only feature I’m able to use is the Auto feature. Everything else is considered a “Pro” feature. This is not only unethical, but disgusting. To switch to a subscription service, after many of us have already paid a One Time Fee to be able to use All the features, is infuriating. Also, y’all have done this during the holidays, when we’re in an economic recession, and living during the worst inflation in 40+ years. As another reviewer wrote: Shame on you!

    Bad app. Updated: Still one star. Or zero if I can give zero star. It took so long for the app developer to respond. And the response doesn’t offer any solution. Still a dumb app that needs WiFi or cellular to work. WHY?!!!!!! Don’t buy from this developer. Total waste of money to buy the app. It won’t work without internet connection.

    Buggy and Possibly Data Mining or Infected??. I took this paid for App off my iPhone for almost a year because it was buggy. Figured I would give it another try. Well... It still requires you to use Data to use (which the original version from years ago did not). Now, when you open the App in the upper left corner in blue letters it says, "Testing: IOS_REFUSED". What on earth does this MEAN? Then, the App is saving the following to a Camera+ Folder on my iPhone: TikTokAppEventPersistence.sqlite, TikTokMonitorEventPersistence.sqlite and TikTokSKANEventPersistence.sqlite. WHAT ON EARTH ARE THESE??? First of all, I do NOT, and will NOT EVER, use that App. Second, I do NOT see ANYWHERE on Camera+ App Information or Version History anything about TikTok. Badly done!

    Used to be better. The zoom settings don’t match what my iPhone 17 has. The telephoto it thinks is only 2x. This app doesn’t feel up to date. Now running into bugs more frequently. Currently I get an error that’s always in the upper right hand corner that says: Testing: IOS_REFUSED I also get a pop up whenever I run the app that says that the app can’t determine my age

    Does Not Work without internet. Nothing in the app description discloses that this app requires an internet connection to even open. With a strong signal it takes 3-5 seconds to load, so don’t bother tying to capture a spontaneous moment. If you’re in a building or heaven forbid the mountains with little or no signal, the app won’t load at all. I don’t understand how this even passes Apple’s app checks. I regret subscribing. Until the developer fixes this, it’s a total waste of money.

    Barely if ever even opens. This used to be my default camera app. Even with updating (and there hasn’t been an update in ages), I just get the app logo on the screen for so long that I give up. A camera app needs to open instantly, you can’t sit around waiting for a logo.
