   Sketch. App is off and glitchy. Characters are boring. Tried to delete my account and , whether it’s on purpose or a glitch, the button stays greyed out and will not let me press to delete. I’ve tried for several days and have sent an email to delete it with nothing.

   awesome app. Great and reliable! The character customization is the best ive seen and i also love the ui customization. The app is overall easy to navigate and its the best experience with an ai app that ive had.

   Too many bugs. Can’t open chats at times, bots make no sense, sign up process absolutely is dreadful, etc. App hasn’t been updated for 2 years. Seems the developers really let it go. Sucks, it had a lot of potential.

    Decent. If it were not for the aggressive filters it used to be amazing. It used to be, but now everything is filtered. Image generation loves making ai characters, but then blurs everything evening it creates, even when there is nothing to blur it any reason. Also it hates recreating named characters and will filter and censor them more.

    Lot of potential, and problems. A few quality of life tweaks and a lot more characters could really make Sakura one of the biggest Ai chat platforms, like more benefits for free users. Solid app, definitely gonna start using it a lot more! Edit (2026): I’ve spent an extensive amount of time using Sakura and I can confidently say that this app is severely flawed. I MAY be misinterpreting how the ai works and behaves but from my experience Sakura is the most painfully irritating piece of software I’ve ever worked with in my entire life. When creating a character the Persona dictates how the character behaves, regardless of what you put in it will only focus and hyper-fixate on very specific words and descriptions to the point where the character bot is intolerable. I’ve experienced with this countless times and can’t seem to find any sort of good middle ground. And don’t even get me started on the Instructions section. The Instructions section is a section of the character bot maker where you give the ai specific behavioral information on how to act. Persona dictates the personality, Instructions dictate how to behave and act. You can be as specific as possible and 9 times out of 10 the ai will ignore whatever is in this section. It is beyond infuriating. And don’t even bother trying to leave constructive criticism or feedback because no one will listen to it. In the entire time I’ve used this app there has never ONCE been an actual update. There’s been patches, and small quality of life changes but that’s it. On their Discord they even encourage you to leave feedback and suggestions for how to improve the app, no one listens to or reads any of it. ANY OF IT.

    One of the better chat bot apps right now. Currently this app really highlights the decline in quality with C.ai. Sakura has most of the same features with significantly better responses and unfiltered messages.

    🤷‍♂️. i love love LOVE this app sm. it’s by far one of the best ai chatbots ever, BUT there’s a couple things that could be added to make it even better for example, the ability to choose how the characters reply, basically having options like: short and quick, specific and detailed, or others. i’d also really love it if we had the ability to add photos in chats. anyways that’s all.

    Unlimited messages. REEEEAAALLLLYYYUU great app. Super fun and a great substitution for CAI . And they ACTUALLY care about their members.the only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because they should have unlimited messages without having sage. Even if it is free for sage it’s so annoying to do it. And I’ve had do to it four times+ times on other accounts. Otherwise I definitely recommend

    Okayy~. This app is good at creating conversation and having that space to talk. But I wish conversation was a bit more engaging. I feel like I either get the longest paragraphs in history or the tiniest bits of conversation.

    Sakura ai. I like how theres no need to verify anything about yourself to use this app unlike c.ai. There are some things that could be added to make the app more creative like custom voices. Overall this is better than c.ai
