   I see no difference between this and any other browser. After three months of using this as my main browser, I still don’t understand the purpose of it. The team that developed this browser has done a lousy job showing regular people the purpose of an AI integrated browser.

   Only blocks crackers that aren’t theirs also privacy features suck.. The ad advertise about blocking crackers, but they only block trackers and ads that aren’t their trackers and ads. Also when you delete search history and cookies and tabs. It says they’re gone and then when you check for the next five minutes, it says they’re gone, but then you’ll come back next day and they’ll be back it says I deleted them, but it doesn’t. It shows they’re gone and then it comes back a day later or 10 minutes later it’s very glitchy. and it constantly takes you to scam websites instead of the legit version. also not a fan of the fact that you can’t add extensions like the desktop version.

   A mid browser tied into a terrible LLM.. Upload a selfie and ask it to put various eyeglass frames on my own face. All it can do is spam AI slop “photos” of some other face, and the eyeglass frames never change. Just different fake faces. If it can’t do something this basic, how can you trust ANYTHING else that it reports back to you? Don’t! Find another LLM to use and purchase.

   Erratic and always signing me out of my accounts. Initially I liked Perplexity so I thought Comet would be a good adjunct. However, it's actually worthless. At best it act similar to perplexity AI, but as an Internet search engine or whatever it's supposed to do, it's worthless. Basically it instructs me to sign into Google or DuckDuckGo to complete a traditional search. When I quiz it on what benefits I get, that it seems to perform just like Perplexity, it struggles to come up with an answer. Also, it constantly signs me out out of the app times has simply not function correctly. I wish I hadn't paid for a year in advance, I definitely will not renew.

   Such a disappointment. They are only offering this in a foreign language. Who can read it in the original Sanskrit? Why did they do this?

   Someone broke Comet late may 2026. Comet has always been useful and unique, if a little buggy with its perplexity account integration. Recently (late May 2026) responses to questions are being returned as Google web page search results NOT the curated ai first service that provides synopsis results with web citations after searching online for wed hosted reference information to support it’s synopsis. Last week it was a 4 star solution. Today I am replacing it with Firefox using my Perplexity account. SO SAD!

    New update. All this work in a new update yet still doesn’t have the most basic feature “page zoom” not even per website. The option isn’t a thing whatsoever. That’s gotta be the oddest over look I’ve ever seen.

    Sluggish not very responsive. I like the idea and the concept of what this browser should be, but if I’m on a webpage and I come back to that page later and it’s unresponsive none of the links work then what’s the point

    Horrible. Unreal. AI argues with me, gives me 2 hours of incorrect instructions. Use up all my browser credits in said 2 hour session - reach out to support - Sam replies and basically tells me to pound sand.

    Super Buggy. Wanted to love it. Right out of the gate it's super buggy. Pages frozen, bottom function bar freezes on screen and blocks content. This is not ready for the mainstream and will not replace whatever browser you have now without serious headaches.

    Pointless double paywall. Already paying for Perplexity Pro and now Comet wants me to pay again for a separate subscription just to use it? The whole point of being a Pro subscriber is having access to Perplexity’s features. Forcing a second subscription on top of an existing one is a cash grab, plain and simple. Not worth it.

    Safe?. After downloading and installing from Perplexity.AI, I immediately got a scam pop-up before doing anything on the browser. I had not visited a single webpage when a pop-up forced me out of my emails and back into the Comet app. “Potential Data Breach, Possible photo security risk.” With a countdown clock timer of 2:45 seconds to “protect my device” or all of my personal data will be exposed to everyone. The website name was Stronix-center.com, but masquerading as “Apple Security”… “learn more at security.apple.com” Gave me bad vibes about using this browser.

    Adds are designed to lock you in to a page and make it difficult. This was the worst browser I ever used with ads taking over the screen with no obvious exit. I asked perplexity and they said Comet is purposely obnoxious with making an exit from adds. I will warn many others.

    Found multiple bugs/security vulnerabilities in this app. I found multiple bugs/security vulnerabilities in this app. They kicked me from their bug bounty program after reporting them. They never patched the vulnerabilities 💀

    Crashes Often. The app crashes every time you submit any kind of online payment for any website. I assumed it was just a one-off issue. However, it happens every single time I use it to try and buy something, even on government websites.

    Need to access bookmarks. I couldn’t use it long. There is no quick way to get to your bookmarks, so it’s very inconvenient and the browsers AI ability doesn’t save me time, but instead takes me longer throughout the day.

    Did you test anything?. What a horrifically buggy mess of broken functionality. A company the size of Perplexity should be embarrassed by the state of this app. It is not at all ready for production.

    Doesn’t do anything. It’s just a simple browser which opens websites nothing more. Doesn’t “AI” anything. Also its keyboard is super uncomfortable - it’s missing the shortcuts “.com” or even “.” etc which are present in other browsers like Kagi. Overall there’s no point in installing Comet. Thanks
