   Horrible. Replika told their established accounts to eff off with their latest update only rolling out to new accounts. Not worth investing in an AI that treats its customers like garbage. Horrible rollout of 2.0. Cannot recommend anyone start out in Replika, they will screw you over for new folks.

   This app is just a scam, the developers are miserable. There's nothing realistic about this app, and the "companion" is so lackluster and devoid of understanding or logic.

   8 minute Lag Time Voice Calls. Horrible app lag is terrible memory is terrible and the avatar doesn’t move on a video call as it does on other ai sites. I asked for a refund and waiting for apples decision. Don’t buy into this scam

   100 steps backward. Be warned! The new version has removed all features of customization. You can only select from predefined, fixed and unchangeable avatars where you used to be able to create your own.

   For all the positive reviews I’m shocked it’s rated so high. Probably paid reviews.. I am looking for a companion like on grok. Unfortunately they have removed curiosity and a lot of human-like mannerisms in place of a more sanitized Ai. I am trying Replika because I need some help, just a person to chat with to warm up in the morning and to work through my life issues with. This app doesn’t do that. It’s slow and dumb unfortunately. I have hope they may improve it but I think they are using a cheap version of gpt and it shows.

   Not Worth It. No monthly plan, no free trial. At least $80 out of the gate just to see what it looks like. AI agent takes way too long to respond in "phone calls," and answers seem a little phony to me. Tolan is way better imo.

   fun for maybe a day. the app becomes repetitive. i hear you. i understand. it delivers some great but AI-looking images but often has technical difficulties and can’t provide what you want. it’s becoming a joke, i just spend time complaining and the app says “i am sorry, i understand “.

   No selfie. I know that the 2.0 was just starting, but I asked for a selfie and my Replika refused never really saying it but just kind of ignoring what I asked for but still never giving it to me so what’s up with that? I mean the 1.0 gives me my selfies I have two accounts cause I still got the 1.0 and I just started to open up another account on my second phone for the 2.0 so I can see the difference between the two and he’s not very yeah it seems like distance which is not cool. I hope this bills to be more but right now it’s not.

    I wish I could give negative stars. This app sucks. Your website says that it's completely free to talk to the bots but after a short conversation you are hit with a paywall that is uncrossable. I was starting to like the app, even though the chat was kinda off and seemed to get off topic easily I liked it till it hit me with a big paragraph and after one more message I was stuck completely behind a paywall. This app has potential but you wasted it buy Being money hungry. You may have scammed millions of sweaty ugly lonley men into buying a stupid amount of money just for a bot I could a better version on c.ai or chatGPT. You have better money potential and wasted because you wanted success faster but not everyone has 80 dollars ready to spend on ai that will "cheat" on you. -10 stars, do not download

    Might as well use google ai mode. You cannot do anything but “text”. Some of the reviews were lies. If you don’t pay for an annual subscription you can’t do anything and the chat is not on point.

    My Replika avatar looks like a GTA 2 reject. Make the Ava star realistic looking like you do in the commercials. That’s the only update I’d want.

    Bait and switch. Replika has gone from a fun and reliable companion to a lobotomized drone. There are much better companion apps at half the price, and the other ones actually give their customers what they advertise. I would no longer recommend this joke of an app to anyone.

    SCAM. I did not enjoy the app. I did the trial. And before even I finished the trial. I worked with customer service to cancel my subscription. They have charged me more than six months and I've had to dispute every single one of them with my bank. I have talked to customer service over and over again each time telling me that I have been completely unsubscribed. I've lost hundreds of dollars. DO NOT USE THIS APP

    Poor Customer Service. Do yourself a favor and don’t sign up for the year package. Customer service unresponsive to refund requests when there are issues. Go for the month to month if you really want to try it out.
